151/152/153p paid, another stepping stone and the 150p barrier breached along the way back up towards 200p... :o)

Oddly enough the figures beat Berenberg estimate by 200k. Good to see the buyer of the last few sessions return to take advantage of the pullback

Looks like a classic case of dropping the bid to accommodate the sell on news brigade, then raise the price again quickly for the buyers who can read beyond the headline. Onwards and upwards.

Drat - knew these results would not look great and was poised to add a final tranche at 139p but thought I might get them slightly cheaper and did not pull the trigger. Missed opportunity.

VB income for 2021 is expected to be USD 13-16M (GBP 10/11M) starting about now ready for the Q2 results, VB has only just begun +USD c23M a year from 2022 so why would you sell it..?

4 mile is in court and should be resolved soon with some stronger income generated..
Largo volumes have been growing +10% a year, and V2O5 prices are pulling away now..
Mantos Copper will add GBP 4-6M this year as the prices filter though..
BKY permitting is pending
Dugbe is pushing onto DFS with VEIN later this year
Incoa is slated for our next investment instalment later this year
New royalty work in progress tbc

6/7% income for shareholders to sit back and watch the company grow..

You have to feel for the poor sods who couldn't sell this quick enough in the 1.37/8s, trained by recent memory to expect sub 1.30. The initial target is 1.60.

Just reiterates the reason for the divi timetable to me, demonstrating management financial controls as the business transitions..... some deals and news along with divis in the latter half of the year as the commodity story continues to build

A bit disappointing when you compare it with the same quarter last year but that was before any real impact from COVID had occurred. Since then the portfolio has been restructured and the stake in Voisey's Bay acquired and this will start making contributions in the current quarter.

"The Group's total portfolio contribution reduced to GBP6.8m for Q1 2021, in large part reflecting the impact of the previously announced disposal of 75% of its holding in LIORC to partially finance the Voisey's Bay acquisition. Revenue from the stream has commenced in Q2 2021."

#Cocopops, a little disappointing at 1st/2nd read through read but, the shortfall was the maiden VB credit which was always touch and go if it would make the cut or not..

The LIORC dividend wrong footed me, as they must have been sold off pre 31.12.2020 and missed the XD for the January credit and now the GBP 3.7M is showing as booked in the Q4-2020 period, with the balance of our holding coming in the Q1 update today..

Q3-2020 earnings GBP 6.37M
Q4-2020 earnings GBP 11.2M (less LIORC 7.5M)
Q1-2021 earnings GBP 6.8M

Earnings were actually pretty flat overall, but we now know that Q2 will be stronger with prices up and the maiden VB Cobalt sale credit coming in, and all the mines up and running, not so bad after you look under the headlines, and a buying opportunity ahead of the Q2/H1.. :o)

I think the market reaction confirms the results are underwhelming (for now). The reliance on Kestral as a cash cow is obvious and the share price may well fall a bit and bounce around until the Q2 VB numbers are in, though interest in the divi will kick-in to support it.

LLB - what do you think the annual numbers will look like?

well commodity prices are still heading North, this was always stacked
in favor of the second Quarter. The market is forward looking isn`t it....

I have no idea what the share price will do, but i do know i mainly
bought for the divi so all is good on that front........

As expected without Voisey Bay (as already signalled) and without 75% of LIORC. Onwards and upwards from here.

To be fair, in one of the recent webcasts Julian Treger did say that the improvements would show through more in the Q2 figures.

I would also add, the stock has run up quite bit over the last week or so, I didnt see anything in the results that would keep it going.

Fair to say those results are short of expectations, but the lag on price increases filtering through into royalty payments should reflect in Q2, the VB maiden Cobalt is received but not sold pre March 31st so missed the cutoff reducing the overall number...LIORC dividend was clearly impacted by when the shares were sold off which we do not know exactly and the XD dates...

dmdmdmdm1 - should be a buying opportunity for long term holders. I cant see the market liking this TBH. Of course a good slew of the reduction is due to LIORC but some of the other positions have underperformed comparing to last quarter. I hope I am wrong but that would my first reaction.
