05/5/2021 23:16 | Recent posts have caused me to study the APF chart. Accordingly I am looking at a 1 year price target of 200p and a 3 year price target to get back to the 10 year high of 350p. That's +30% and +140% approx from today's price. Oh and don't forget the c 6% annual divi at today's prices too. If the share price falls below 128p - the price of the last placing - then all bets are off and I might exit at break even. Drivers are commodity prices, the success of companies in the portfolio and the speed of re-alignment away from coal towards greener assets. In that respect APF have a war chest of £60M which our CEO recently suggested might result in 1 or 2 additions in the next year. Nothing delusional here - just the way I see things. But DYOR. | melody9999

05/5/2021 17:36 | Some decent PI buys going through today at 147p or more with 10,000 and 20,000 shares bought per trade, clearly indifferent to any commentary from our resident climate expert.. :o) News tomorrow..?, do come along APG let us see those earnings..! | laurence llewelyn binliner
05/5/2021 17:24 | Good advice. Clearly likes the attention, very sad really. | madengland_

05/5/2021 14:49 | darryn1 perhaps ADVFN's most useless poster. everything he/she/it writes is trash of the first order. Another idiot who thinks 350p to 140p in ten years is great performance. The sad thing is that probably by their gutter-level portfolio performance standards, it is. ALL IMO> DYOR. QP | quepassa

05/5/2021 11:43 | Thnaks i though so, it gives me some extra confidence fro the future here | hernando2
05/5/2021 11:29 | You are right, hernando2, he is clearly worried that an offer could come in for the company unless the share price increases to what he considers a more appropriate level compared to other Canadian streaming operations - e.g. a share price well north of 200p. He said so in one of the most recent webcasts. | woodhawk
05/5/2021 10:54 | In the last interview i though that the CEO implied that if the share price didn’t rise in the near term they could be vulnerable. Im guessing to a low ball offer. Or did I imagine that? | hernando2
05/5/2021 10:45 | QuePassa has been posting here for 11 years since 2010. That is how sad he is. He formerly really liked this stock so I think your view that he is a very bitter poster who has made big losses is probably very true. Normal people lick their wounds and just move on to something more positive but he can't do that. "I have a great deal of respect for APF both as an excellent dividend yielding stock and one that has shown great capital returns - ESPECIALLY if bought after some of the significant market-wide downturns of recent years. The executives at APF have done a great job and carved out an excellent niche as a listed company engaged in the field of royalties." | darryn1
05/5/2021 09:10 | The Voisey’s Bay Cobalt Stream Acquisition is a game changer for APF. The market for Cobalt has great potential that will result from the increasing adoption and market penetration of electric vehicles. Going forward, over half of the royalty income will be derived from battery and associated products and therefore coal will decline as a significant royalty contributor. I first invested here last August at 104.6p. After further top ups I currently have an average cost price of 110.8p. Consequently, I'm currently circa 32% up at the moment and I can see the future potential here taking the shareprice over 200p in due course. | masurenguy
05/5/2021 08:36 | Hey Melody, LAST COUPLE OF YEARS?? - Open your eyes. You are quite deluded my dear woman. Don't forget that the share price was around 350p ten years ago. From 350p ten years ago to 140p now. And you talk about capital appreciation?? Are you nuts? That's called capital decimation on a wholesale basis - not appreciation. Any fund with such derisory ten year performance is hardly a top performer or confidence-inspiring ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
05/5/2021 08:14 | QP - yep this is going to be some turnaround if you believe that commodity prices are on the next up cycle again. Thanks for highlighting. Happy to be deluded whilst making money! | melody9999
05/5/2021 07:15 | The silence is deafening...Last time I spoke to the company I was informed that they were under no obligation to issue quarterlies, just H1/FY, but report quarterly for the benefit of shareholders..Take your time, we are in a hurry.. :o).. | laurence llewelyn binliner

05/5/2021 06:05 | You are boring Change the record | juuunx2
04/5/2021 23:06 | Breakout above 140p today. Commodity prices rising and APF valued based on their coking coal history. Kind of QP to repeatedly point out the share price decline over the last couple of years - I am invested here because I see that decline reversing as APF re-position their portfolio into 'green' assets - up 40% this year since the lows late in 2020 but much more to come IMV. But capital appreciation is underpinned by the 6% dividend as well! A lot to like in the current market IMO but DYOR. | melody9999 |
