Cadence Minerals - inaugural Shipment of Iron Ore from the Amapa Iron Ore Project, Brazil

Cadence Minerals (AIM/NEX: KDNC; OTC: KDNCY) is pleased to announce that DEV Mineração S.A's ("DEV") has commenced the shipment of the iron ore stockpiles from Santana, Amapa, Brazil. This shipment was approved and represents the first shipment of Iron Ore from this asset since its closure in 2015..

The first portion of the net revenues shall be used to pay historic small and employee creditors (US$2.5 million), after which approximately US$ 6 million of the net revenues will be used to begin recommissioning studies on the Amapa Iron Ore Project. The remaining net revenues will be used to provide working capital for the operations and payment against the outstanding amount due to the Bank Creditors.

Operations continue at the port in preparation for the next shipment, and at the mine, security has been put in place and tailing dam maintenance has commenced..

27.08.2020 .. The Group we will be claiming its royalty entitlements over any stockpile sales.

We will have to wait for the next update to find out if our royalty has resulted in payments from the stockpiles here but progress nonetheless towards reopening..

Interesting price movements today, perhaps a function of Primary Bid sellers cashing in? Tempting to add-in on the dip. Thoughts?

#Hyden, 24.02.2021 RNS for the VB deal, superseding the 08th Feb release..

Revised 2020 Annual Report release date, as a result of the importance of the Acquisition, and the need to reflect its impact on the Company throughout the 2020 annual report, combined with the effect that the UK government’s ongoing restrictions in response to Covid-19 are having on the Company’s finance team, the publication of the 2020 annual report will be delayed by three (3) weeks and released on 14 April 2021 to ensure the quality of the Company’s financial reporting is not compromised.

@LLB - I am expecting APF to release its full-year results tomorrow per the 8th Feb TU. I remain hopeful that they will be well received. :-)

Well the deal closed on the 12th LLB so one has to assume they'll be booking two weeks or so of revenue from VB in their Q1 numbers.

FY2020 results 14.04.2020
Q1-2021 update and results c27.04.2021

Very neatly sequenced for top ups, we might even see a maiden credit from VB drop into the March income statement, more likely from April / Q2 but we know it is coming ... :o)

Thanks -0x3F, Couldn’t agree more with her overall view. I guess the market is waiting to see the numbers before investors see the benefit. Roll on April!🤞995;😀

The Incoa royalty is getting closer, another 1 that could be adding later this year, the portfolio income components are stacking up nicely..

INCOA performance minerals, construction is underway on our new state-of-the-art ground calcium carbonate (GCC) processing facility on the gulf coast near Mobile, Alabama USA, our facility is expected to be producing by mid-2021..

From APF RNS March 2020... Anglo Pacific's US$20 million Tranche 2 commitment follows construction completion when the operation is in production and generating cash flow, and will provide Incoa with additional capital to bring its ground calcium carbonate products to market.

The Anglo Pacific Tranche 2 Commitment is subject to a number of conditions, including Incoa's successful construction and operation of the project. The Anglo Pacific Tranche 2 Commitment is expected to be funded in 2021. Under the terms of the Financing, Anglo Pacific is entitled to receive quarterly payments of approximately 1.23% of Incoa gross revenue following funding of the Anglo Pacific Tranche 2 Commitment..

Then there is the next USD50M royalty waiting on closing tbc.. :o)

Thanks Deacon. Just the one small wart then, identified above! A couple of posters on the TRR board now saying PrimaryBid closed early and they've been scaled back 75%+.

Swan, I think it's a great deal for Trident. They're building a very attractive portfolio, though personally I'd like to see more 'in-production' royalties added to the portfolio this year. The outlook though, with Lake Rebecca, Warrawoona, Thacker Pass and a couple of others looks very good indeed. I've been in TRR since the IPO last year

Cocopah, it seems you have more experience than me, at least in reading an RNS properly! Possibly being too optimistic but I imagine if it was material it would appear higher up in the text. Also seems strange to me that a genuine bid would rely on a verbal agreement? I note TRR have an indemnity.

Swanvesta - I am by no means an experienced royalty investor, however it does look appealing. Do you think there’s any real concern about the legal dispute they mention?

#Cocopops, there we have it.., Iron ore does come under the royalty agreement..

I look forward to seeing what grade they plan to make then we can look at prices/volumes and revenues .., but 65/35 Iron would be normal.., TiO2 the byproduct is typically used in paint for its extreme whiteness qualities .. :o)..

A question for more experienced royalty investors here. The Trident Royalties (TRR) board seems to be asleep, but is this a stonking deal or not, especially for a company the size of Trident? Shares up a bit but not much volume, possibly because of the PrimaryBid offer (which closes at 11am.)

Trident are proposing a 1.05% GRR on the giant Thacker Pass (Lithium) project. Cost is $28m and projected to yield between $3.8m and $7.6m annual revenue from 2024. These figures include a royalty reduction option which is expected to be exercised in the first year of operation, for which TRR will receive $13.2m. Also significant is that the funds are being raised through a placing with no discount to share price.

LLB, Deacon & Donaferentes - I copied the link from the APF Twitter feed on which APF indicated the news was royalty positive, so let’s hope it wasn’t marketing legerdemain by their social media division team. Looks like pesky bond worries and thin trading are behind the sluggish share price today, roll-on April.😀

I have to say I read it as "over all mineral projects" that derive from the territory that is the subject of the agreement. Otherwise the relative clause ("to which the agreement relates") would follow immediately after "all mineral products". Just saying - I'm sure Mr Market knows!

llb - I think it is more likely and usual - that the 'royalty interest' qualifier refers to the area over which the royalty is held.

ie all mineral products from the area of the project over which the royalty interest is held by APF - which may be more or less than the area of the current project.

This seems more likely than making 'all mineral products' mean something more or less than all mineral products?

I agree that you can choose to read it differently - but I think that is much less lkely the meaning of the sentance? However, there may be other reasons why the royalty may not apply to an increase in value from this plant - as you say we'll have to wait for clarification, but good news for the future of the project I imagine,

cheers
