But it’s the strike lengths from surface at Pepas that stand out no? What kinda grades/lengths they get at APTA?

Bumpa, could be interesting in the short term as the core from the second hole (drilled from the same drill pad) at Pepas is in the lab according to the CEO's recent tweet. Very quick turnaround on assays currently. I wouldn't be surprised to see the results next week.
A raise down the line can't be too far away though.

The grades at APTA which is their prospect further south are even wilder.

looks to me like circa $2,650/oz for Gold since 1st Oct when Agitation re-started & so far $9,000/t for the Copper from Flotation.
Diesel still very cheap in Azerbaijan. one of the lowest prices in the world.

Putin doing his bit to push BTC over 100k

Vladimir Putin says bitcoin could be a useful asset as Russia's reserves remain frozen

Wed, December 4, 2024 at 7:23 PM GMT

Vladimir Putin suggested bitcoin is a better alternative to foreign currency reserves.

"Why accumulate reserves if they can be lost so easily?" he said at an investing conference.

Russian President Vladimir Putin cast doubt over Moscow's need to hold foreign currency reserves, suggesting that bitcoin could offer a better alternative.

Guys' I have full confidence in our BoD. In the past somethings have not been in their control.
I think 2SP has done a very good job of explaining the future outcome. Mining is not an easy business to be in.
The BoD were not aware of the water problem they have encountered recently at the Gilar mine site. Nature can be cruel at times to mining.
Gilar will come good given time.
Don't forget Demirli Mine site, I am sure things are taking place there in the background that we are not aware of. All will start to come together next year.
Sure they have made a couple of mistakes in their investments.
They are what they are.
We all have made mistakes in our investment too. They are no different to us.
I would not have gone all in without doing my DD on the BoD and where our investment is.
Things don't happen as fast as I would like them to at times, but that is my thinking not the fault of the BoD.
This share is not for the jam tomorrow people. I am quite confident that the shareprice will multy bag here given time.
AAZ will overtime become a mid tier copper miner and in the future, the big boys will want that cake that AAZ is in the process of baking currently.
NAI as always.
ATB and GLA in whatever you are invested in.

What's the short term outlook on silver?

What's the short term outlook on silver? teaser image
Silver and gold have dipped this week, facing headwinds from a stronger U.S. dollar. The U.S. dollar’s rally against other currencies makes dollar-denominated gold more expensive for holders of other currencies and is therefore bearish for precious metals. A ceasefire last week between Israel and Hezbollah has also reduced bullion’s attractiveness as a safe haven asset. But where will precious metals go from here in the short term?

Investors will be turning their attention to the release of the U.S. November jobs report at the end of the week for signals on monetary policy and the health of the economy. Fed policymakers voted unanimously at November’s meeting to cut interest rates by 25 basis points, after also cutting rates in September. Interest rate cuts are typically bullish for gold and silver. About two-thirds of the investors are betting that the Fed will cut rates by another 25 basis points in December, ending the year at 4.25% to 4.50%.

Gold and silver are neck and neck for gains as we face the final weeks of 2024. Gold is up 29% for the year, dropping 2.5% last month after rising 3.4% in October and gaining 5.2% in September.

Silver is also up 29% in 2024. It fell 5.2% in November after advancing 4.3% in October and rallying 7.9% in September.

The dip in November has provided an excellent opportunity for investors to obtain gold and silver below recent highs. We expect further consolidation at this level before gold and silver advance in 2025. Key fundamentals are still in place for the precious metals bull market to continue over the next few years.

According to analysts and experts, we may see gold as high as above $5,000 an ounce and silver as high as $90 an ounce, if historical patterns are to be believed. The last bull market saw spot price gains of 2-3 times the lows. The patterns of rallies and consolidations of gold and silver these past few years is supporting another bullish market cycle with several more years to go before it peaks.

While gold has broken records all year long, attaining 39 new record high closes, silver has yet to approach its previous bull market high of $50 an ounce. While silver bugs may be disappointed, it is important to note that historically, silver tends to lag behind gold well into a bull market cycle, before overtaking gold's gains explosively. This makes the perceived lethargy in silver spot prices right now a perfect opportunity for investors who might be looking for the profit potential in this market.

Maybe in the past they did but recently they don't, most timelines advised in rns are pushed back. Guidance hasn't been hit for several years. Aaz has very poor financial pr capabilities which imo holds them back which given the strength of the underlying asset base is frustrating.

Good job I didn’t set a stop loss on TET or I’d have suffered again this morning; now clawed back the last loss and a fair bit in paper profit. Will see how it goes tomorrow before deciding whether to bail.

OMI doesn’t want to sit down does it? I’d forgotten just how good those Pepas drill results were though, and now the latest exceptional one, with two more to come. They’re still the best intercepts/strike numbers in a junior i can recall since GGP’s Havieron. Interesting price action late on, CANA have a buyer into them in size, was a choiced price 5.35 to buy, 5.36 to sell…

Thanks 2SP.
I would be a little disappointed if Gilar production went out to Feb, on the basis that they were on target for year end up until the last presentation. Not a major problem of course, but they normally have a good track record of under promise and over delivery.

FAB have said several times in repeated RNSes / Results / Presentations

"We don't need to raise cash. We won't be doing a placing"

Shorters like Evil Banksta / Jaknife are arrogant enough to think they know better than the Company BoD/Management.

Good to see them getting burnt.

By the way it looks like Evil Banksta / Jaknife EPIC FAIL on this was driven by his personal animus against Paul Warwick (who tried to get Evil Banksta sacked from whatever mid Investment Management firm he works at).

Warwick invested £1m at over 100p a share in FAB. Sometimes you have to acknowledge a trade has run its course and not overplay your hand. Evil Banksta seemed incapable of that on FAB.

On the way down the stock gapped down from about 30p to 10p so watch out for that gap getting closed.

Jbe81 - i don’t know it well, just the balance sheet screams a raise to me, but in the longer term maybe it is a turn around play. If i had a quid for every time a company said “we don’t need to raise” i’d surely have a tenner at least 🙄

Bumpa I always welcome your bearish arguments and calling out company’s for what they are.

Is this case I think the the grant money against mc makes it massive news.

I think FAB as a risk reward turnaround play is very attractive. Was highlighting it at 4p here, think todays news makes it even cheaper at these prices, and it expect the story to continue to unfold. They have stated they don’t expect further dilution, there’s a good brokers note with a bit more detail but that’s part of the risk. Reward massively outweighs it IMO

If they sold an antibody for $400m, what happened to the cash?
zangdook
04/12/2024
12:19
Yes for a normal company you'd think so but FAB has ability to generate insane value. Just one antibody they discovered went on to be sold for $400m
Their private competitor/comparator FairJourney was bought out for $900m.
They have a partnership with the US Govt National Cancer Institute with the expert in their field 'validating" their tech... which would likely throw it open to US R&D grant funding + have loads of US bios/pharmas beating a path to their door once NCI validates the platform.

Classic case of mispriced optionality whilst dull pusillanimous UK investors worry about cash flow as though its some Midlands metalbasher.

Hmm, is it massive? Good yes, £1m over 5 years for R&D, £5m in equipment etc. BUT they still need cash at the operating level surely…

Incredible FAB RNS

1. Evil Banksta/ Jaknife proved wrong

2. Company didn't need funding because they knew this was in the bag

A £4m cap getting £6m non-dilutive funding is INCREDIBLE but testament to their SCIENCE and IP

This is absolutely massive for FAB

"However, perhaps the most significant impact is likely to come from consequences of the research now achievable by Fusion through the Company's access to facilities, equipment, staff and expertise made available under the Grant."
