02/12/2024 07:49 | I was going to sell SEA on agreement of farmout deal due to need for fundraise seems they did both at same time cunning plan, still not sure what the next near term news will be now though but at least insiders have poured the cash in mind you they will get that back in wages I guess. Could be a while to next news there unless they get another field given to them out of the blue or am I missing something. Tomorrows Investor Meet could supply the answers. | pogue
02/12/2024 07:22 | SEA raise basically a ‘friends ‘n family’ job. | bumpa33
02/12/2024 07:20 | ARB raises £4.2m at 5.5p - big discount to Fridays close. | bumpa33
02/12/2024 07:13 | Also £2m raise at 35p SEA. | bumpa33
02/12/2024 07:11 | SEA is leaky after all. Should be a good day. | pogue
02/12/2024 07:07 | SEA farmout completed. 👍 MTL to buy CNR - oh no! | bumpa33
02/12/2024 06:07 | I don't see Musk putting money into UK politics. He has no factories here, doesn't need to get our regulators off his back. Money is only one factor in elections - Trump won with a fraction of the money Harris spent. Pushing Farage from a small handful of seats to a majority in parliament is a much taller order than returning Trump to office. | zangdook
01/12/2024 18:35 | According to Dominic Cummings the government is fake anyway. Would not matter who is in | muddy_40
01/12/2024 17:42 | Took Reform at 3/1 to win most seats at next GE. If Musk comes through with rumoured $100m funding it's going to get very interesting. Current odds at Ladbrokes: Conservatives 11/8 Labour 6/4 Reform UK 3/1 Liberal Democrats 50/1 Greens 500/1 | someuwin
01/12/2024 16:31 | Bumpa, I highlighted dgi this time last year, it had a very good run then. Think you questioned it. It’s a good story and should be interesting to pump at very stages. Think a directors wife was selling shares earlier this year when she shouldn’t have been. Could be an opportunity at these sort of prices | jbe81
01/12/2024 16:15 | Maybe a trade first thing | bazboa

01/12/2024 12:38 | We live in interesting times. Trump reiterated his desire to put 100% tariffs on BRICS members on his Truth Social network yesterday. Looks like he is serious. Obviously it’s a starting position but BRICS have already breached one of his terms by making a currency, its called the Unit. His tariffs will take out about 8% of oil imports to the US from Saudi and Brazil assuming no one will in the US will pay double for their oil. This works out to be around 6500 bpd and world consumption is 100 million bpd. This might not affect world oil prices too much then again oil is priced on the margins so who knows, but it will have a bigger effect on the US as they search for heavy sour oil around the world for its refineries. It could ask current suppliers to up production the main supplier is Canada, 52%, but Trudeau’s government has for years prevented any expansion of pipelines to the US so not convinced they can. Next biggest supplier is Mexico at 11% but its getting 20% tariffs added to its exports by Trump to stop migration so assume its oil is also going up 20% so that’s about another 7500 barrels a day tariffed and I doubt he will want to increase imports from there. The interesting country off course is China which exports $501.22 billion to the US and already have tariffs on some of their products but will be getting 10% added in by Trump but being a BRICS member means that will increase to 110%. That is going to be very interesting not least because if exports dwindle to the US then the Chinese wont be taking US $s so that will have the same effect that the BRICS currency would have by reducing world trade in $s and collapsing the US debt bubble. We are obviously in the firing line as we hold $743.9 billion of US debt being the 3rd largest holder in the world behind Japan and China and any issues with that and we are going to have a load of paper worth a lot less than we thought. Not sure where things will go next year but tariffs appear to be a certainty just how much disruption they will cause and to whom I don’t know. Post by Trump yesterday on Truth Social… 'The idea that the BRICS Countries are trying to move away from the Dollar while we stand by and watch is OVER. We require a commitment from these Countries that they will neither create a new BRICS Currency, nor back any other Currency to replace the mighty U.S. Dollar or, they will face 100% Tariffs, and should expect to say goodbye to selling into the wonderful U.S. Economy. They can go find another “sucker!” | pogue
01/12/2024 12:10 | I am not keen on convertible notes, so got out, after a short time in them. Still pondering because they have a good narrative. | hazl
30/11/2024 10:36 | M/ F' yes dodgy people to deal with !! For what little I know about TRAFIGURA. Money and power runs this world. One day, the big corporations will run this world. Well" they already are currently to a very large extent. Amazon' Elon Musk,Mark Zuckerberg etc, etc. They have brought a lot of change in this world. The High Streets are mostly dead now !! Small business stands no chance at all !! The Bots are already doing work in many factories, warehouses and so on. Is it a good thing for mankind ?? I personally don't think so. What will people do to keep themselves occupied ?? A very fast changing world at the moment. | 2cmb
30/11/2024 10:16 | Have a good weekend all. ATB. | 2cmb
30/11/2024 10:15 | If anyone wants to get educated on businesses like Trafigura and how they operate "The world for sale" by Javier Blas is really excellent. Lots of fascinating history there. | foetus in your brain
30/11/2024 10:00 | I think AAZ will be producing Zinc if I remember correctly. I personally think the link with TRAFIGURA is very good for AAZ as the big boys will become aware of the role played by AAZ in the metals market. A possible future T/O target, well we can hope can't we :-). Good weekend all. | 2cmb
29/11/2024 19:50 | Henwii' a possible bid for Anglo American. Not at all for AAZ. Patience required here. Life will slowly come into AAZ in January and the rest of 2025. I personally am in no rush. In 2026 a very juicy Dividend hopefully. NAI of course. ATB. PS. I am surprised that people would think the link had anything to do with AAZ, I just posted it to highlight the future demand for Copper. A possible bid for AAZ is probable when AAZ becomes a mid tier Copper miner. | 2cmb
29/11/2024 17:48 | No. Not us. | ranike
29/11/2024 17:35 | Can anyone post that article please? The Headline now only reads 'BHP’s need for copper prompts speculation of fresh Anglo bid' Does it even mean us. That might actually put some life into the shareprice!! | henwii |
