Matt' I perfectly understand your frustration of being a business man in the current environment. It is very frustrating that the government instead of encouraging businesses, it throws spanners in the works !!
I was bringing quite a bit of $$s into the economy with my export business.
I gave up in the end !! It seemed like I was working for the government rather than myself !!
Not forgetting all the red tape and the worries of running a business and the sleep ness nights of worry !
I am really glad that I retired when I did.
Wishing you luck. I could not hack it in the current environment.

Again I think some sectors are very difficult to be in, for the companies themselves, not just the shareholders.
I have more sympathy for the companies themselves, as time has gone by.

I think it's shocking that when a company is at the start of it's journey and obviously requires funds, it can not only be bet against, but can have posters repeatedly belittle it, when it is prerevenue!

Doesn't happen so much in the US.
Look at Amazon for that when it first started whilst not prerevenue, they had debt.

Again, if you are dealing with the shipping industry, which of course QED do,it is a long drawn out process. MSC have been in the background for some time.
They first procured a ship...The Leandra.. especially to try out QED's fuel.
I have followed the ship's journey from port to port and it has taken a very long time.
Many investors give up, get bored, sell out.
Do you know it can take 24 hours for some ships to just turn round?

This announcement today,was very much welcomed by me and is a pivotal moment.
Some people seem to think I am trying to pull investors in, when I talk like this, but I'm not.
I am just trying to explain my interest and my appreciation of their journey.

To think they have got the biggest carrier in the world trying their product is an accolade is it not, as a penny share?
I have never encouraged people to buy or tried to push up a share, I just research and post up what I have gleaned and if people want to read it, they can.
It doesn't make or save a company's share price it just makes me more informed.
If news changes for the worse then I might sell up or move on.

Life is just a journey.
Perhaps Wan, people get me wrong,too?

Really thought AAZ would push through £1.20 on this news but the drop prior tells me it was artificially high short term and I was wrong thinking that.
That aside at last we are back to normal production wise and we can hopefully look forward to Gilar, Demirili and beyond.
This has moved me back from trading only to holding long again…
It is what it is.

I have really enjoyed the action on QED Bumpa . I think it's a very respectable close. Of course some people might have got in at high this is what share trading is like. I admire the management they were one of the first companies to have Invented an alternative fuel that was cheaper effective and safe. You ought to have seen some of the alternatives! I must stress though it still has its challenges and each small company needs finance!

Strange how the share price has acted over the last few months or since trump got re elected. Bitcoin has rocketed to almost 100k what's people's thoughts as I'm starting to think this bitcoin price must be taking a lot of money out of share markets- and even from worldwide countries economies. Am I wrong in thinking this? I've steered totally away from crypto but I've got a few friends in them who are very happy at the moment

Bumpa my belief is that you haven't many shares except AAZ judging from what you have said?

I have no fear of the poster in question because I do my research, and stand by what I say.
He, however, has a habit of wiping many of his posts clean afterwards.

There are not many small companies that make it big but I have had one or two.

Though it is a difficult time in the markets, I still like to have a bit of skin in the game, so I have one or two to keep my interest up in the markets .
I do it more for intellectual reasons if I'm honest.

Surprising, how it can keep you up with events in the world geopolitically, socially and even scientifically.
I found out that a drug that my partner was taking had bad side effects before it was general knowledge this way share research.
Luckily my partner then came off it straight away.

I like some of your posts but you strike me as a person that has to always be right.
Shame.
None of us can be right all the time.

My guess is someone's bought a slug of AAZ above the NMS / live trade reporting level, which will explain the tick up on no trades (and after a few sells bang on the bid price).

It's reassuring to hear everything's back to normal. Not long to wait until decent production numbers - from Q2 next year maybe? Depends on the winter operations.

Regards the drop at HVO many investors have received the same email, below, today in reply to queries if the company knows of any reason for the drop. Short answer is no.

Thanks for your email. The company is of course aware of the recent share price weakness but is concentrated on factors within its control. hVIVO reiterated its guidance in September for £62 million in revenue with full year EBITDA margins anticipated to be at the upper end of market expectations for 2024, and there has been no change to this.

If there are any material changes to expectations, the company would be required to issue an RNS to update the market. It is not in the company’s interest to make a habit of commenting on movements in share price or the decision-making of individual investors, for which there is a large number of contributing influences.

It is in the nature of hVIVO’s business model for there to be gaps between contract announcements. Decisions on whether clients proceed with a challenge trial are complex and affected by a number of different factors outside of hVIVO’s control. The Company did announce in its interim results that it had a pipeline of live short to medium term opportunities of c. £40million. The company remains confident in the long-term growth of the business and human challenge trial market, and its medium term growth target of growing Group revenue to £100 million by 20

have to say your touchiness has now piqued my interest in QED hazl, so a quick check of the threads and I see you’re in a bit of a spat with Jaknife, aka evilbanksta from share price - who’s saying QED have a habit of spiking the price to place into - looking at their history would appear to back that up. Good luck going up against him 😊

I wouldn't give a moments thought to the dividend issue. It is only a problem if the company goes bust and shareholders have benefitted at the expense of creditors. Looks like BDO checked EYs homework and found it wanting
