I think there wasn't any internet in those days and I only used to invest in the FTSE 350 in those days.
Haven't times changed from Tele Text days !!

there is no chance of FXPO mines being taken by Russia they are not in the Russian oblasts. Putin is not wanting to conquer Ukraine just stop it joining NATO and stop its persecution of the native Russians. On a peace deal however I dont fancy FXPOs chances as you say. American companies must be allowed to rob the country that’s part of the deal plus the local corrupt Ukrainians will want some more cash from the war as well.

Yes guys I was invested in FXPO in 2008. Made very good profits then. I remember them investing in the railway carriages to move the pellets of iron ore.
Oh' that happened later on. Memories of old times for sure. :-)

I think they're screwed either way Rigger. If no peace deal, Russia invades and steals the assets. If a peace deal, Ukraine steals the assets to help repay debts! Such a shame. They were a brilliant company in a fairly stable country before the mindless war.

Ah yes, another point I forgot to mention.
Asked about the change from E&Y to BDO and there's no one reason. More an accumulation of reasons...



We're due a change as we've used them for a long time.

As there becomes an ever greater focus on past failures of the "big 4" failing to spot various misdemeanours around the globe the responsiveness of those companies has gone down as they add more and more extra checks. We're a small fish for them and we can get faster/better? levels of service elsewhere, where we're not such a small fish, relatively.

New? guidelines/rules? state that if we use E&Y for their services in our UK based stuff (eg yearly reports etc) then we shouldn't use them for their services for our Az based stuff (eg guidance to AIMC about stuff). E&Y have a good office in Baku and us using someone else for our UK side leaves us free to use the Baku based E&Y office for anything we might need them for.

I think with the tennis the residual affect of the shrooms just helped me play without any fear/anxiety and be more immersed in the game so it didn't feel like an effort to concentrate or make decisions. I was also able to fully 'let go' on my serves and bang in some crackers as a result, which is nice as it's such a temperamental thing.

I have to do the shrooms again at some point as it was such a unique and interesting experience - too much more to explore with it!

I've had an interesting weekend doing my first magic mushroom trip yesterday and culminating in playing some of my best ever tennis this afternoon!

Let's hope for some positive stock market movements next week(s)..
