The expected backlash from Biden's handlers trying to screw Trump's peace attempts is that Russia will start supplying tech to other countries. Missle tech to N korea, submarine tech to China etc and I personaly expect him to give better anti ship weapons to the Houthis. That might encourage them to hit a US naval ship which would be a serious black eye for America. Lots of options but what you must remember is those ATACMSs cannot be controlled by Ukraine without direct intervention of NATO planes and operators so this is an escalation as NATO is directly controlling missiles fired at Russia. Its still not confirmed but if it is more people are going to die as the Democrats try and spike Trump and prolong the war as nobody is expecting the ATACMSs to change anything. What is really sickening is these people have no morals inflaming a war to make things difficult for Trump.

Gold should go up!

Isn't Russia firing Iranian missiles into Ukrainian territory already? They've not got a leg to stand on if they whinge about Ukraine doing the same.

Biden's last attempt to start WWIII.

Hopefully Trump will be able to maintain some common sense from Russia until his inauguration.

Biden allows Ukraine to strike inside Russia with long range US missiles.............

US official confirms ban on Ukraine using ATACMS to strike Russia lifted...............

Back in September, Putin cautioned the West against letting Ukraine use their long-range missiles to hit Russian territory.

He stated that Moscow would see it as the "direct participation" of Nato countries in the Ukraine war, saying it would "substantially change the very essence, the nature of the conflict"....................

"This will mean that NATO countries, the USA and European states, are fighting with Russia," the Kremlin leader said................................

might be a bumpy day tomorrow!!!!!

jbe81 - recent clustering of news items - all interesting but nothing earth shattering - Berenberg update note and Proactive covering, small mention in Daily Mail, calculation of cash burn, previous patterns etc suggest a return to the well isn’t far off for AGL, but who knows exactly when, next week, a month, more? Not sure I’d be hanging around long but as always, nothing’s certain.

Bumpa, thanks for the reply for AGL, trading suggests a buyer at the moment and not a placing but not a long term hold for me .

FRG , good rns, and very good volume to clear some traders, new JORC doubling the resource, production and off takes all expected in next month or so , should still do very well from these levels.

FAB , a month from recent director buys at around the current sp, nomad stated they don’t need to raise , expecting news to show the finances continue to improve, low free float so a good chance of big gains.

ZPHR - chart looks to be breaking down/heading down towards year lows around 2p. This non dilutive funding for the $7m lateral drill at the Paradox State 36-2R is dragging on and on, and then Thursday they appoint Cannacord as joint HB with Turner Pope. 🤔

My guess - they originally went to TP, said we need to raise $7m, TP said “in this mkt? you must be joking!”, that leaked to the mkt as per RNS, so they conjured up the idea of non-dilutive, non asset-backed, single well investment, have had no luck/or terms being offered are onerous, are now getting desperate and brought in a higher tier advisory/brokers to try and get something away.

#JB2, good intel there, but what was the source..?

No RNS that I see, or perhaps from Bills presentation at the mine finance conference..?, no online catch up coverage that I can find..

See what news lands next week.. :o)

"Dore sales in October netted over $7m"

The entire Q3 sales [late in September?] generated just over $8m revenue.
[OK, i know one cannot say this corresponds with 13 weeks of production.]

Considering:
824 oz of gold doré produced in August 2024 - All heap leach
1,370 oz of gold doré produced in September 2024 [523oz from AL commissioning output]
2,803 oz of gold doré produced in October 2024 [knocking 2k-oz from AL plant.]

The current AL plant production is clearly at least tripling dore production v heap leach only.

So, although the delay to gilar ko is costly, at least the feed going through the AL plant is good enough to shift production from insufficient to quite cover operating costs, to significant net cash flow generative.
And with the flotation restart, copper concentrate sales must boost this very substantially further.

All in all, the Q4's may look tolerably Ok, even absent Gilar.

big thanks for the news, especially that the flotation plant has re-started.
Also the dore sales and the dam wall raise.

How do you get to know all this?

Whatever, i hope there will be an RNS, Monday 18th; at very least advising of the flotation full-on restart.
We've been awaiting this crucial event for some 16 months.

"Can't think that Zafer was got to actual production ready status, just before they decided to prioritise Gilar."

My thinking on Zafer providing back-up production is related to some time well into the future, probably post 2025; i guess they won't need to construct the next development phase until then.

Suspect each ton wouldn’t be valuable enough to truck it far. It’s copper ore not gold ore. The Gedabek plant is going to be busy anyway if that’s what you meant.

If the dam isn’t able to be raised then 2 options will be explored.

1. Explore options for a new dam. New sites have already been identified. There being no local population may make this easier to permit. Karabakh is still mainly empty at the moment so no local consultation.
2. Explore whether heap leaching is an option. Apparently there is already a heap leach pad on site where it appears the past operators have tried this. It appears it had worked. In short the leach solution had the copper precipitated out of the solution and the copper was used to sweeten the flotation concentrate.
