"Companies are dying daily because they can no longer access cheap money."

===============

IMO its good to see.....money is now being allocated to companies that are good prospects as opposed to throwing cash at any old idea.

Very good video interview by Rick Rule.

Bit slow to start but then goes on to comment on 10 mining companies in the Uranium,
Silver, Gold & Copper sectors....that you can follow up.

Is BTC killing AIM?

No, inflation has killed AIM.

Companies are dying daily because they can no longer access cheap money.

Bitcoin market cap = $1.38T ($1,380B).

Total valuation of all AIM stocks = $67B.

Bitcoin Has doubled in one year so $700B added i.e taken from other assets. Is BTC killing AIM?

Yep, I read the tweet. Majors look for 5m ounce and up resource, MMA didn’t think it was going to provide that size/development potential. So OMI take the asset back and now have to sell the story (again) in a market that doesn’t give much of a toss about just another promising junior.

”There is probably something close to a decent resource at APTA, but it is geologically complex and was never going to be of sufficient scale for MMA and so they quite sensibly (from their point of view) looked elsewhere. We are pulling all those data together into 3D models to try to get a better sense of what we are dealing with and where (if) we can add high grade ounces and perhaps in time move to a 43-101 resource.”

It explains why MMA pulled out in the tweet I posted.Ofcourse funding will be required.I suggest it will double from here in short term.Sell half and it's a free ride risk free.If Pepas figures are good it could spark fireworks justified or not

It has been a good time to accumulate shares if one has confidence that production will actually re-start soon. Hopefully such new holders will be 'sticky' and hold as the business opens up the new opportunities. Heaven knows there's enough resources in the ground to have a go at, to say nothing of the copper property that came AAZ's way after the war. Nice to see gold hitting new highs, and history suggests that where gold goes copper is sure to follow.

I'm expecting to see the price here lift substantially once the dam raise begins.

From RNS 07/11/23
Based on this statement, which was Before the Q4 update, one assumes that agreement has been reached, however we have not been informed specifically about the wall raise, only that we are on track to re-start Q2.

The Company is actively collaborating with the Government to implement any additional measures required in response to the Micon environmental report, to ensure the successful execution of the wall raise. The Company will update the market once a timetable for the wall raise has been settled.

So, as said - OMI get control back of Anza, in a deal costing up to $15m (based on production targets) of which the exact details remain confidential. They raised 500k in Jan with warrants attached on a 1 for 1 basis exercisable at 4.45, about where the share price is now. Get the share price above that level so they’re ‘in the money’ and they can pull in further cash from the exercise of those warrants, maybe enough to cover short term funding requirements, so MAYBE no imminent raise. But it all depends on drilling success at Pepas to come. A lot to prove, maybe they can, maybe they won’t. Until then I’d err on the side of why MMA backed out developing it…

Flotation plant starting up inside Q2, so as soon as it is rolling again we have 3 months tailings capacity left, and will need to get started on the wall raise the same day IF it takes 3 months to do the raise..

Interesting timings, do we know IF the TD raise is still subject to a permit or are we just waiting for the frost to thaw before we can get on with it..?

I can never understand PIs gloating about other PIs going through difficult times. There is something amiss with an individual who finds pleasure in others having a trying time. Warped, sad and bitter creatures... I pity you Podgy!

Gold at close to $2230 - don't you wish AAZ were producing more than a nominal amount at the moment?

LOL

Yes auditors do not prepare accounts, but if they threaten an adverse opinion on an item within the company prepared accounts then the company will change them - they'd be idiots not to.

Yes, Demirli will not go down, in fact it'll go up if they ever get full access and produce a JORC compliant reserve statement and a costed feasibility study - based on the current company/political environment probably the next decade. Will they get there - A to B is not a given here.

I've been making money on the POG for the last month (GPM, CEY) - wouldn't have done here. Because they are not producing and the silence on the one issue which is paramount is deafening.

This weekend's film...
Want to know why France is actually preparing for war with Russia ... a really interesting documentary about French colonial Africa and how France has been exploiting it since 1945 to the present day but now the Russian Africa Core (formerly Wagner group) has taken over. It is going to have huge financial consequences for France and therefore the EU, oh and there is a gold angle as well towards the end for gold bugs....
