28/3/2024 08:14 | Mi - I don’t generally spread bet with IG either, just CFD’s or share dealing. Their spreads are often terrible on the share dealing account, and way out of kilter with the RSP. Anyway, enough about IG, for today at least… the last really good CFD provider was MF Global and we know what happened to them 😳 | bumpa33
28/3/2024 07:52 | Good morning all. Hubs good to hear from you. ATB. | 2cmb
28/3/2024 07:43 | I use IG and level 2 for share dealing. I don't spread bet with stocks. I find the IG spreads the same as HL but cheaper fees | master investor
28/3/2024 07:32 | They’re dropping like flies - today MEN and BYOT. Hope no one is still in the former… | bumpa33
28/3/2024 07:02 | Good morning all, Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi

27/3/2024 23:47 | From piece in DT today by Eir Nolsøe:The combination of record low copper stocks [globally], our expectation of peak mine supply next year, rapid green demand growth, and low price elasticity of both demand and supply will in our view lead to copper scarcity pricing in 2025," analysts at Goldman Sachs said in a recent note. Historical precedent suggests prices could surge by 25pc over the next 12 months, its economist said. | mattjos
27/3/2024 23:00 | Well Wan. I don't worry much about financial things much these days. I look at life through a different prospective. Now I have seen life though many stages. Poverty ' just coping and wealth also. It was just the security in life that wealth gave me. I have helped a lot of unfortunate ones over time. I have also managed to travel a lot in my time. So in a nutshell I don't worry much these days. I am still very secure in my life, financially as I own assets. I was born naked ' I have had a very good life to be frank. When the grim reaper calls I can't take anything with me. Worry? About what ? Not worth the time. There you have my view of life. Money will only buy you security. It can never buy happiness. AIMHO ofcourse. ATB. | 2cmb
27/3/2024 22:14 | Auditors love impairing. AAZ had at 30 June 23 $106m of fixed assets (mines and production facilities) - they're going to disclose a loss for 2023. I'd worry. | podgyted
27/3/2024 22:06 | I would also be a bit concerned if the TD issue has not been resolved by the time the Final Accounts have to be issued. The auditors could, logically, ask why the asset values of the productive assets (which cannot produce) should not be massively impaired. | podgyted
27/3/2024 21:53 | Obviously not the people here, but others, will be selling to capture the rise in gold and copper elsewhere. ATM an investment here, until we hear otherwise, is dead money going sideways at best. If no news on the TD before the Q1 production stats I would anticipate another lurch down. Still watching, but really beginning to wonder if they can get through this. Spending on development and little coming in. No matter what people have said in the past, they do not seem to have any influence with the Azerbi government, and they don't seem to be in any urgency to address the matter. But GL while I watch. | podgyted
27/3/2024 18:25 | free stock charts from uk.advfn.com holding up for now :-) | wanobi

27/3/2024 17:41 | I think the ADVFN platform is generally working ok cmb,,, just a bit slow to load charts in particular at the minute,, but, I see a new login page format and other aesthetic changes seem to be rolling out in the background,,, so I suspect things will improve soon enough,,, fingers crossed, Cheers Wan :-) btw,,, hope all is going well for you and wish you the very best with your investments, as always,,,, especially AAZ where I have a frankly ridiculous (for me) holding right now :-) LOL :-)..... but, at least,,, now at a much lower average cost price!!!! golden rule, don't average down!!!! broken :-) LOL ::-) GULP!!! GL to ALL LTH's,,, we deserve a break with AAZ :-) :-) although, the word 'deserve' means nothing in this game LOL grrrr!!! Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
27/3/2024 15:26 | "Michael Portillo, one of the few straight men on the planet"??? I take it that was tongue in cheek right MI? 😳 🤔 I'll happily agree he does carry off his sartorial colour preferences well... and his travelogues are always interesting! 😎👍 | cybernest53
27/3/2024 15:09 | Michael Portillo, one of the few straight men on the planet who can carry off a salmon pink jacket with lemon chinos. | master investor
27/3/2024 14:44 | When is this bunch going to get back in production, with gold near 2,200 I would have thought that would be an very good time , but it still keeps dropping. | cinoib
27/3/2024 13:40 | LOL,,, yeah Michael's alright too :-) :-) | wanobi |
