I quite like TA but I think it works on the basis of providing insights into the psychology of investors. The problem for AAZ, and most of the U.K. market, is that volumes are tiny and spreads wide. When TSLA or AAPL move it's millions of trades placed by millions of investors that make it move. With AAZ, it can be 2 people who feel good because they had a nice lunch or who sell because an unexpected bill arrived. I'm not sure that really enables the investor temperature to be taken. Truth is, few are interested in AAZ. But that's not a problem provided we get the news flowing. It won't take much

Nearly posted something similar JB2 but you’re far more eloquent than me at it. On another thread Bumpa led me to AAZ when Basher was nearly out, that was his instinct back then, quite a bit before the bottom if I recall. The more I looked, the more I liked and starting buying quite heavily, more so as it rose. So I suppose I’m a little smitten, but I did love the extra 30p of dividends too.

Now I just wait, believing it will turn again. No disrespect to SSB or any chartist but TA meant nothing then and it doesn’t now (well for me anyway), because I believe the prospects and board will prevail. Peace, love and whatever.

March 2016 - price 7p

The fifth of the 14 scheduled payments to ATB must have been made by now. It was due 25/2 and we've heard nothing so the payment which is hardest to make (due to production and weather etc) has been made without any drama.
None was expected really but satisfying all the same.

Continued manat weakness and gold strength mean this could be the transformational year.
Was kind of expecting it to take a couple of years but if we bring up 70,000oz with a margin of $500, which it now seems is entirely possible, then we'll repay the majority of the debt in one year.

We'll be 50p this time next year and receiving first dividend if that is delivered IMO.

Lots didn’t believe we were on the cusp of big change back then either
(I was wrong on my timescale for 50p, it took over a year longer, but such is the nature of a holder I guess)

re
“here I am,, naked in front of all stating my position,,, with full confidence in my position,,, they say "pride cometh before a fall",,, well, I can say in all honesty, my position has absolutely nothing to do with pride,, being big headed,, beating my chest,, you name it,,, nothing!! I just believe in AAZ, its management and that sub 60p the odds are in my favour,,, we shall see”

And I shall keep you company as I am back there too.
I have, the last couple of months, gone through exactly the same emotions as I did in 2015 into 2016 and now I feel as confident as I did in early in 2016
As you say, time will prove who is right.

Having spent thousands of pounds on ta courses and thousands of hours studying charts, I can say with confidence that the last bear flag you have drawn is not a bear flag.

SSB' a bird in hand is worth 10 in the field. Your investment bird has a golden cross. Lucky you.
Me over the years enjoyed many birds from all overseas and here. They were the wrong kind of birds that cost me money !! You don't want to ruffle the feathers of them birds :-). LOL.:-)

Wan' a question by me to you. What risk does AAZ have now ? The only thing that can delay anything now is the refusal of extension to the TD. Why would it be refused? I can't see any reasons for that to happen. Don't forget the Azari's share the profits AAZ makes. I am quite confident that permission will be forth coming.
Not to worry about anything more as far as I am concerned. ATB.

Wan TA never looks at anything else apart from TA, they could have a cure for cancer lined up. Chart say no.

I stick to my TA . IT works better on high volume to be fair.

Trust me I have made some awful calls and will do so until I trade in the clouds. I have found TA helps.

I think,, also,,, my decisions are a mix of TA & FA,,, whereas yours are TA only, yeah?,,, so, with AAZ I see TA, a massive C&H and a quarterly bottom forming on the handle & FA,,, positive TD rns along with production progress news flow,,, hence a bottom forming,,, although,,,,, it'll take time to play out :-) BUT BUT BUT, as always I could be 100% wrong LOL :-)

Cheers Wan :-)

ah yes, but,,,, I wanted to let DEST & EEE run back then,,, they had their own risk/reward ratio's at the time and,,,,,,,, has the AAZ bet been de-risked since then!!!!??? these are the questions one has and sometimes the stars align, most times they don't :-) :-) tis what it is cmb :-) Cheers Wan :-)
