compare and contrast the knowledge and activities of Deden with the vast majority of those using twitter & other social media platforms to display/report/celebrate/commiserate each of their daily/weekly portfolio % changes.

I am instinctively a Buy & Hold investor and, ideally, I'd like to be a confident and comfortable Holder for ever (if possible & if i have chosen well).

I've started and run my own business and, as Deden rightly observes, I never wake up thinking about the P&L for the Month or the Quarter. In fact we do not even do Monthly or Quarterly Accounts for the business.
I do wake up & go to bed every day thinking about my staff, our customers, our suppliers, my/our R&D efforts and how to stay ahead of competitors, how to exploit new opportunities.
I'm only sucked in to the P&L details at the Financial Year End.
It's the capital in the business that the most important - the people capital, the IP capital, the cash, the market-place knowledge and the level of sales enquiries.

Respect, but I think things have really really changed.

Actually made me think about buying more BTC and BIRD.

watching again for 4-5 time now.
What i try to do when i watch these sort of rare interviews with 'giants' is to try and compare my learning journey on various point with his/her journey.
Have i, in my own blundering way, come to some of the same understandings and opinions as someone such as this & how did they reach them?

This chap, Deden, has a good bed-side manner and an easy way of explaining some of the things he has learnt after a great deal of personal experience and deep thinking.

When you come across these 'giants' i believe one is fundamentally obliged to try and find a way to stand on their shoulders

They have time to read dodgy tipsheets but they don't have time to carry out their own buyback or announce that they're dropping it?

We were pleased to receive a BUY rating from Share Prophets, crediting our underlying cash flow position and additional upcoming production against a backdrop of shifting market sentiment. The article also predicts a significant share price recovery, at more than 33% from the current 88p.LinkedIn

Anglo Asian Mining – a sector sentiment-turning BUY

We’ve recently noted we’re looking for depressed precious and related metals sector sentiment to turn as the production returns still being generated at current prices become clearer and US dollar strength and interest rate hikes expectations prospectively ease.

Meanwhile, Anglo Asian Mining (AAZ) recently announced “production figures remain robust, with total production of 14,309 gold equivalent ounces in the quarter” and that it “is making excellent progress on the development of its future new mines”. We see significant further recovery potential, more than 33%, from a current 88p offer price.

ECO fallen back again I see, some people get taken in by the promoters of multi baggers threads, these oilers are completely high risk gambles; posting on 1 thread makes you think the chances of success were far higher, as is always the case with some individuals. When will folks learn.

Yep all part of UN Agenda 2030 of which 192 nations are signatories to. So it should come as no shock to anybody.

Dont expect energy costs or security to change for the better with the Green Revolution, I know none of you expect that but incase you did here is our masters explaining how its going to work, basically things are going to get worse from now on until you cannot afford to live as you currently do. Good to see that the truth is leaking out one day when Greta grows up she may understand what the consequences of her actions are and who was pulling her strings.

....Volatility will be an unavoidable part of the energy transition. Geopolitics will shift considerably as supply chains shift away from fossil fuels and toward rare earth minerals essential to renewable energy infrastructure and electric vehicle batteries. China controls the vast majority of many of these minerals, posing new threats to energy security. Increased competition over these inputs could also raise their prices considerably, leading to what is being called “greenflation.

Indeed, decarbonization will be expensive, and government investment will be essential, as will major climate financing schemes for the developing world. So far, expenditures are way below where they need to be to ensure sufficient energy for the future. “The growing importance of energy security and the need to bolster supply chains will require a level of energy investment not seen since 2007,” the World Economic Forum reports. New technologies also suffer from a $22 trillion gap between current spending and 2030 needs.

These financing shortfalls will likely lead to insufficient energy supply (particularly in the global south) and continued energy price volatility as energy demand continues to grow while we simultaneously move away from fossil fuels. In order to keep the gap between supply and demand to a minimum, energy efficiency standards will be key, but are unlikely to be utilized to their full potential according to experts......

nice rise though, shorts closing and/or insiders - wouldn't be the first time directors and A N Other steal a company back for pennies on the pound...!

sorry, I meant 'buy' of course...

depends, but a straightforward cancellation of listing leaves shareholders with shares in a private company as opposed to a listed one. There maybe made available an off mkt trading facility, usually on a matched bargain basis.

Usually, though not always, the effect of this is that your shares post cancellation are pretty much worthless.

I noticed a substantial rise over at MEAL on news they want to cancel the listing. How does cancelling work. Do you lose all your money, do the directors name a price that you have to accept?

I am feeling very warm on POLB. POLB001 has proven safe in vivo already when being used for another disease so 'all' we await is whether it does the job on stopping a cytokine storm. I would assume this has been proven already in vitro but need to see if it does the job in vivo. If it fails there is still a pipeline of drugs behind it so its not the usual one shot medical company with a good idea. Price will fall obviously but will rise again next time when POLB002 comes up for testing. What has been suppressed about POLB001 is the covid aspect of it though, JS will not talk about it I have asked him a couple of times face to face and he dodges. Its the elephant in the room its potential is very big he obviously does not want the hype with that as the fall would be dramatic if it fails in the trial. Patents have been applied for in related fields is the clue to what is the plan. Prove it in flu and boom! LOL

Agree with you about Polb Pogue. It feels just like a junior miner with enormous potential IF the news is good. Let's hope there is no RNS saying it is plugged! Also Hvivo could surprise us.
