Excuse my ignorance, but how does the share buy back work? Do they just stick an order for 11m in? I know someone posted some info on it yesterday but I didn't quite follow.

Right… I’ve recovered. And added to my s/b
:D
No we won’t get that data beforehand.
The price to be paid for it is competitive though. About half the cost to drill it. It may be close to enough to get to a feasibility study, perhaps a little short. Over 20km of drilling.

Does anyone have any thoughts around the fall in gold and more so silver?

Surely the most important short term aspect of the ratification is getting all the historic data to SW so his team can start making plans. I would hope that, whether we are told about it or not, there is a way for that to happen before every formality has passed. Perhaps that data is what landed at 6pm?

Reasonable forecast methinks.

"2023: 64K - 70K GEO with Vejnaly/Hassan (and offsetting Gedabek)"

Think you meant to include Zafar.
[Zafar, in particular, should be generating a copper-gold feed, into the flotation plant, for concentrate production, quite similar to what is coming out of the main open pit now. The main pit will be close to depletion by when Zafar is scheduled - Q3 2023 - to ko production. The planned, additional zinc circuit will also make a significant contribution to operational cashflow.]

Demirli [Kashen] is indeed a potential game changer.

As is Garadagh, notwithstanding the time and cost of bringing it into production.

Thanks for clarifying where the ratification process has reached.

Now teed up for final passage through the Mili Majilis, by week ending 15th July [when their extended sessions conclude] at latest.

Suppose one must entertain the possibility such passage may be deferred until the autumn; no known reason to expect any delay though.

odjsp . Great write up . You have missed out Zafer contribution so that may change your production predictions from 2023 ?

My thanks to the AGM attendees, and for their follow up feedbacks here also, JS comment very telling, clearly he sees the new CA's as a done deal..Makes a lot of sense to hold the lid on that nugget of news via RNS until the buyback is completed, perhaps the final signature is still pending, so technically the process is incomplete and not official yet..? A new beginning when it drops though.. :o)

I don't entirely follow the comment about being in a different league as of 6pm yesterday (ie 22nd). The document we saw signed by the Prime Minister was dated June 21st, and if that signature is so significant, why was it not RNSed?

I know it doesn't matter in the end, but it seems odd. I don't mind if they're selectively issuing news in order to try to get some cheap buybacks in.

Thanks for the write-ups so far, looking forward to any more to come.

Also note the .co.uk and not .gov.uk we all know the BOE is a private company.

Mattjos, the world is a stage for which all world leaders are merely actors in the grand scheme of things, Putin included. In my humble opinion this is all part of UN Agenda 21/2030 and a global CBDC. I can go in all the detail, but seeing as this is AAZ thread all I will say is real assets like copper/gold will be king, not cash!!

I posted this on the other thread and added a few things.

Thanks Pants, Friendzarin and RB (and JB) from your update from the AAZ AGM. I (like everyone else on here) really appreciate the insight and hopefully will be able to make it next time (if South West trains provide a service upto London)

Pants - One quick question if I may. You mention in the Vejnaly bullet point that Russian peacekeeping troops and Turkish military were present but was anything mentioned about Demirli (in terms of troops) and when we could get access and start mining. It maybe a bit premature considering we don't officially have ownership yet but that really seems to be the jewel in the crown in order to get us to be a mid tier producer. I am currently not expecting anything until mid 2024, would that be yours and anyone elses view? Thanks JB you answered the question on troop as was surprised if they were in Vejnaly.

I see in the short term (this year) we will have some production from Vejnaly to boost our 54-58K oz production and assume that in 2023 we will have both Vejnaly, Hassan to boost production (offset decline grades at Gedabek) along with further exploration and hopefully a roadmap into 2024 and 2025 where we can get a better insight into future production through to 2030. Does that seem fair?

So does anyone have any views/expectations of the following
2022: Next few weeks (full ratification)
2022: 57k - 64K GEO with Vejnaly
2023: 64K - 70K GEO with Vejnaly/Hassan (and offsetting Gedabek)
2024: Really dependent on Demirli access as it is ready to go, but could boost us to well over 100K GEO and as JS said put us in another league.
2025: Onwards. Who knows...

Hopefully a game changer for us.

Thanks Jb (on the other thread). Was a bit confused with the troops at Vejnaly and was also expecting them at Demirli

Young, Touchstone respond to alleged sabotage at Fyzabad pipeline
Loop News 1 hr ago

After claims of sabotage came to light when a six-inch oil pipeline was cut in Fyzabad this morning, Minister of Energy and Energy Affairs, Stuart Young and Touchstone Exploration are speaking out.

In a media statement, Touchstone said an oil transfer line on Primera Oil and Gas Limited's ("Primera") Fyzabad Block was cut.

Primera determined that the cut line was an act of vandalism, and the local police and all relevant in-country authorities have been notified.

They promised that the source was isolated and contained.
Touchstone said that based on current information, Primera estimates that a maximum of 240 barrels of oil may have been released.

No personal injuries were reported but the safety and security of staff, operations and community partners is Primera's main priority.

They assured that all impacted residents have been contacted and are being assisted while cleanup activities are conducted.

Reclamation efforts are underway and Primera's incident response team will remain on site.

In the Post Cabinet Media briefing today, Minister Young said that any act of sabotage is criminal and that he hopes that investigations into the incident allow justice to prevail.

Hmm
Cheers

& here is further evidence of Putin moving to escape the US$ hegemony & to take others with him:https://www.oann.com/putin-new-reserve-currency-proposed-within-brics/?The war is about the US$ and its status as 'top dog' in the world. The Ukraine is simply one obviously visible facet of what is really going on behind the scenes. The USA is completely bankrupt if the US$ is usurped as the world's reserve currency & the Yanks know it. Russia, China, India know it. The Iranians know it. With the complete idiot Biden asleep at the rudder & the FED caught between two stools, there is going to be a challenge to the US$ & we are only now starting to see this emerge.Putin is a great strategist ... most other 'leaders' of his deemed unfriendly nations are mediocre tacticians, at best.
