I was going to pick 4d in the weekly comp thinking they were about as bombed out as they could get. The 2021 report says they expect to run out of their current cash in Q4 2022 and I am not sure anyone in the right mind would be lending to them at present. A further raise from here would not be supported by most current shareholders, so I suspect the only real option is a cheap buy out.

The CEO & CSO are pulling in around £500k p.a. between them so whilst their losses on share subscriptions look massive I am sure they can cook up a sale where their salaries continue and future bonuses compensate them. Longterm shareholders will probably reluctantly sell up to get a premium over what the shares are worth now and be sorry they ever laid eyes on the company.

Must be more than a few Ltd company directors here, the revised primary threshold kicks in July 06th for triggering employees NICS at £12,570 up from £9,880 matching the personal tax free allowance..

Class 1 employer NICS 15.05% over the ST at £9,100
Class 1 employee NICS 13.25% over the PT
Dividend tax free allowance still down at £2,000
Up to max basic tax rate dividend tax now 8.25%
33.75% higher rate dividends
39.35% additional rate dividends
Capital gains tax free allowance of £12,300

It is only small beans at the lower end but it does all add up, we pay enough through corporation tax so maximising any allowances out is good sport.. :o)

That's a lot of law changes, I don't know how the people of Azerbaijan coped before without these amendments.

LBC is a big project in Columbia. Look at the chart of SOLG to see how these type of projects progress. The Canadian assets may be much smaller but are more likely to add value imo.

Finally some news on West Newton 3-4 year investment though which could if all goes well deliver fantastic returns.

Highlights:

-- The Company is progressing the conceptual development plan for West Newton as, predominantly, a gas development project following the completion of the significant work carried out by PEDL 183 Joint Venture partners and independent third-party experts

-- Post Extended Well Test ("EWT") analysis:
o Indicates the potential for good well productivity from new wells and,

o Underpins the strong economic returns of the project

-- Conceptual plan (subject to funding) envisages a phased eight well gas development, which will target recoverable hydrocarbon volumes of 35 Mboe with a sales gas component of 203 Bcf

o Following an initial five well development drilling campaign, First Gas is anticipated as early as 2025

o A further three wells will be drilled in 2028-2030, modelling plateau production rates of 44 Mcfd of sales gas

o Economic modelling calculated a Gross pre-tax NPV(10) of $448 million and a pre-tax IRR of 87%, based on recoverable sales gas and small volumes of associated liquids, for the development

o Potential for further fields within the Greater West Newton area to be tied into West Newton infrastructure; not currently included in the modelling

-- The Joint Venture intends to drill the low-cost wells in a manner which phases the development cost, significantly de-risking the financial profile of the project

My vulture shares seems to be doing very well BEG,K3C now just wating for FRP to compete the picture.
Broker thinks K3C should be £4.35 a share. Let's see how things pan out.

Current Agenda for the Milli Majilis.One was also published on the 17th with other matters. So business has been reactivated as indicated by Reza. As usual its not clear where AAZ's raification might fall if at all in any of thes areas but lets be hopeful and it will be good if we can be given on Thursday some clearer detail from the company .


I'll be going as things stand so look forward to seeing all those who can get there. Sorry to hear you can't make it Matt.

Libero Copper down another 18.3% yesterday to C$0.29, a 1 year low, on no news. The recent company news there has all been good on drill results at Mocoa and Big Red but the present market is no help. Even so the fall from 80c plus recently is severe!

The libero shareprice taken a bit hit. The investment there is not looking too pretty atmo. AAZ don't seem to be having much luck with investing outside their juristication - perhaps they should stick with what they have on their own doorstep .... oh wait the government/parliament don't seem to want that to happen in a hurry either .. sorry couldn't resist !
Surely we are going to get an AGM anoouncement/ update in the next two days. We haven't even been given guidance on this years production yet . It was promised before the half year i think ? Then there further details on Vejnaly and new vein too. Let's hope we can have a positive announcement .. we sure could do with one !

Wan suspect it’s just anything connected to Colombia will get dragged down because Pogue is right; I’m just relieved I’d liquidated all my Canuck plays including LBC a good few weeks back. Of course there’s always a cudda, wouda, shoulda to everything eg sooner, but it was profit free riding from an earlier spike.

As for AAZ hardly think LBC is registering on their price, if anything I’d be inclined to go in for more but I’d have to look back, as I’m sure there were some terms mentioned to do so at the time.

Regrettably unable to attend the AGM this year due to work commitments that have been impacted by railway strike.Very frustrated that I am unable to juggle things around.I do hope the AGM is well attended & obviously keen to hear what transpires, particularly if there is any further unblocking of the news logjam, even if only on an informal basis.I'm sure the ratification will be issued as/when it moves up to the top of the civil servants To Do List so, it's not really the date of that which I am keen to know .. we don't control the prices so, I just don't see the point in giving the company a hard time about it. They will be as keen as us to have it formalised.We need a strong H2 this year and that means getting Vejnaly into regular production and significantly upping the pace at Gosha .. that is what I want to hear from management + Zafer on track & on budget.
