24/9/2020 12:21 | add to above: The new tunnel. Rapid progress; ~65% complete now - 320m Bill said. Q4 production [~2.5g/t] looking a near cert. The 2+g/t from stockpile will surely provide until it ko; it is obviously supporting the on-target production right now. | ![]() 2sporrans
24/9/2020 12:17 | Mattjos, I too value the dead pan honesty, but it does perhaps explain why AAZ seems valued as a utility producer, and not as a potential growth stock. | ![]() lefrene
24/9/2020 12:08 | Looks like there maybe a reason to buy gold coming soon as America keeps ticking the boxes on the list for conditions for a civil war. Sounds mad I know but its there.... President Donald Trump on Wednesday would not commit to providing a peaceful transition of power after Election Day, lending further fuel to concerns he may not relinquish his office should he lose in November. Edit Weird just came across this link on oilprice (lots of right wing people there) to this article which ticks another box on the road to civil war. White man kills black man in clear self defense then kills himself due to society turning on him. This will recruit the foot soldiers for this war. | ![]() pogue
24/9/2020 12:07 | Very informative interview; thanks Bill and hbr for posting. A lot of new detail. Bill gave enough on the monthly production to assure that Q3 will exceed Q2 by at least 20%; came across like 25% or more. Full explanation for the Q2 drop was reassuring too. Other than Ugur depletion, the rest was either temporary or been worked around - like the higher copper content out of main pit. So the JORC is now complete, bar Datamine working out if the LOM can be extended. The way Bill put it, the LOM will at least be held, i.e. what has been taken out been replaced, which for me at least is OK. If that assessment takes 2 weeks, sobeit. So Avshancli-1 target for JORC in 2021, production 2022 - weather permitting. Shaping up to be an Ugur replacement. 2 coring rigs when a 2nd comes into play. 2 reverse circulation. The latter suggests to me that detailed drilling for JORC/production purposes is underway but please let me know if i'm getting ahead of things. The 114m of continuous mineralisation at Zefer is indicative of a porphyry zone; the evidence seems to be mounting.... So, AAZ are proposing a very substantial enlargement of cA; if Gosha and Gedabek are encompassed within....it must be. The PSA renewal is being held up by the release of the JORC. Guess it comes into the bargaining with the Azerzi Gov. All put together, the Interim RNS, the new Presentation and the interview, present us with a very encouraging update indeed. Bizzare that the share price dropped yet again, though not unexpected. Picked another 2k 132p and will add if goes lower. Payback starts on 8th October - XD day. | ![]() 2sporrans
24/9/2020 11:50 | nought wrong with honesty …. A dead-straight FD telling it exactly as it is, that's what I want to see & hear please | ![]() mattjos
24/9/2020 11:47 | ilostthelot, Bill is perhaps a little too honest, he spells out the problems as well as the good news. There's plenty of good news getting closer all the time, but somehow it's not advertised in an upbeat way. However they have done remarkably well through the covid thing, production levels look to rise by 20% in the near future, and there's a jorc to look forward. I liked the 140 metres of continuous mineralisation that was mentioned, if it covers a decent area that's quite a bed to be mining. Most AiM miners would be shouting about it from the roof tops, but no AAZ is a bit more like Marvin, "best little miner in the world, but I don't suppose anybody would be interested in us really". | ![]() lefrene
24/9/2020 11:45 | Well done Bill. Katie is very pleasant indeed 😀😀 Main points to me Q3 run rate is getting better Tunnel under Gedabek finished by next week....thus Q4 underground Gedabek mining is on track....Good for this year's forecast but great for 2021 Reza is in country and handling the negotiations with Govt on new licence areas....focus on joining up area with Gosha etc.....these could be transformational to share price | ![]() goldrush
24/9/2020 11:33 | Her assets must have been mined at the same place as the Five Live and Leeds United Tv presenter Emma Jones..... oh and good interview Bill. | ![]() spidertricks
24/9/2020 11:33 | 😂 😂 😂. Nice Bristol city's. Seems the share price has dropped on the back of that interview. Would that be because there wasn't much enthusiasm over the coming Jorc!? Clearly Q3 is going to be good. | ![]() ilostthelot
24/9/2020 11:26 | You certainly won't be able to mine those on an asteroid. | ![]() bonio10000
24/9/2020 11:23 | Exactly as I had suggested yesterday … it's the tax & legal structure that is taking the time on the JV formation. Critical they get this right at the outset, as there are obvious long-term impacts so I have no problem if it takes a bit longer. Spot on interview Bill. good man Katie Pilbeam seems a nice lady with porphyric assets :-) | ![]() mattjos
24/9/2020 11:21 | gold miners are clearly unloved - the rise in POG seems to have turned into a curse, anything less than 2k does not seem good enough for investors anymore. | ![]() doc_oj
24/9/2020 11:17 | A good clear report by Bill, thanks homebrewruss. That tunnel is coming along faster than I thought it would. Katsy I think it's dollar strength rather than gold weakness. I'm guessing that a lot of USA investment is being brought home from other parts of the world, perhaps to begin a USA manufacturing renaissance? But with money printing continuing on an industrial scale, I don't expect to see dollar strength endure for very long, but what the heck do I know? | ![]() lefrene
24/9/2020 11:14 | Well done Bill .. good explanation of why production was done, how it is now up and growing. Tunnel breakthrough from the new portal to Gadir imminent :-) USA social structure is falling apart by the day, debt levels are continuing to increase, inflation is already clearly present in economies but being under-reported by central banks, no chance of interest rates going up any time in next 3 years ("they are not even thinking about, thinking about, thinking about raising rates" Peter Schiff), the fat controller in N. Korea is getting ready for the routine missile launch ahead of the usa election, look like neither USA party will accept the election result & we'll have to endure endless rounds of re-counting postal ballots, Covid second wave is coming & will soon hit the USA, BREXIT drones onwards towards an inevitable Hard exit in December etc etc etc What a Horlicks this all is Cant see Gold staying subdued for too much longer | ![]() mattjos
24/9/2020 11:08 | It's like all that money printing and huge debt piles are not happening. Just as AAZ release some welcome good news POG decides to have a sissy fit. | ![]() katsy

24/9/2020 08:01 | AVCT - almost missed it LOL GLA Holders, Cheers Wan :-) 24/09/2020 7:00am RNS Non-Regulatory Avacta Group plc (AIM: AVCT), the developer of Affimer (R) biotherapeutics and reagents, is pleased to note the update by Integumen plc (AIM: SKIN) ("Integumen") provided today regarding their ongoing development of Affimer-based sensors for the coronavirus in waste water and in human breath. Dr Alastair Smith, Chief Executive of Avacta Group commented: "I am very pleased to learn of the promising evaluation of the Affimer reagents in Integumen's sensor systems.
