▪️The resource only covers a small fraction of the Clontibret gold target area
▪️Potential expansion of resource to depth
▪️JORC resource 517,000 oz Au

My thoughts too....I again believe why we have not had news and very supportive narrative is because of the ongoing discussions with Government (which must be of a very material nature)and them being delayed by Covid...All IMHO

So, taking the latest [Pressie] guidance:

Gold target range 2020:

65,000 - 67,000 [incl. Azerzi share]

H1 dore
26,500 incl. Az. share + 1,450 gold in the cc; call 28k gold tot.

take the low end of target 65k, implies 37k gold prod. H2.

Say $1900 POG H2 and $700 AISC [like mf calc.]
$1200 margin.

32.3k gold net of 12.75% az. share

$38.74k op cashflow [before tax] H2

Yep, that's fine by me.

I think they had to mention the special divi for a few reasons1) because they have so much cash and the pile is getting bigger all the time2) to show Azerbaijan that the amount of money that stays in the country is linked to the opportunities available I'm not bothered about a special dividend but as the board will only spend wisely, it's obviously going to be under consideration

Cinoib, these are the strangest financial times I have known, I didn't expect to become a gold bug, but with the FED creating money on an industrial scale and buying up the bond market and the stock market, I think it will be a miracle if we manage to skim over the mess without there being some sort of melt down.

I feel I have been invited to some horrible show that I didn't want to see, and have been sitting uncomfortably while the orchestra spends ages tuning up. How many will be left alive on a blood soaked stage, by the time the fat lady sings?

I look forward to AAZ delivering more good news. Although a bit harsh, I tend to agree, the timing of a special divi announcement (very welcome), might have been handled to better advantage. But how many companies out there are being run so well as AAZ and paying divi's at all, let alone a special divi.

My thinking too Goldrush.

Seriously, this Pressie is up to date news with current, fresh guidance therin; the interims rather backward looking, on some content anyway.

Conroy Gold share price gone up more than AAZ today. So frustrating. AAZ should split the share price to make it more readily tradable.

This reads even better than the RNS

"Q3 2020 production considerably improved compared to Q2 2020"

Presented in puce and white.

Those selling now will likely regret when the Q3s land in ~ 3 weeks time.

Thanks Bleepy for flagging up.

Entry for new Gedabek u-g mine:

"Ore extraction in Q4 2020
gold grades of ~ 2.5 g/t"

Not seen this mentioned before.
Nor seen pic of the imposing portal.

Note the emphasis on:
"STABLE PRODUCTION"

methinks so much of what AAZ do, quarter by quarter, is to ensure that they do
end up making their annual production targets.
Hence the accelerated move to the new [main pit flank] underground resource, though for me, that is really more crucial for 2021.
i expect AAZ have enough of the 2+g/t stockpiled feed to cover both Q4 and q3; just they won't want to squander this valuable contingency resource.

Thank for clearing that up, re Henwii post.

I wonder how many people got caught out selling before the results.
As on results day the price seems to have always fell.

Qaz,It would be good if the company set out that strategy so succinctly. That's the picture to paint, that should be on Bill's first slide at Proactive.

Decent numbers given production fall but Again I reiterate time for a change of financial advisors and brokers. I don't see announcing a potential special dividend in this way as good advice. Wait and then if it is to be done shout about it from the rooftops, don't tee it up which then risks disappointment. More advice and poor judgement in accepting that advice

Mind boggling stuff really. The RNS almost reads like a point by point rebuttal of all the points that people have tried to raise as a reason for the lacklustre share price performance.

All eyes now on the JORC. I can't even begin to put an estimate on the range of what it might show, but we do know that a whole lot of work has been going into it, and for a company that always does what it says it is going to do, it has been delayed, and my best guess is that they just keep finding gold as the exploration unfolds and have to add that in.

Short Term - Huge cash balance, Special Divi imminent, producing in the down dip
Medium Term - Whole range of new production being brought online starting 2022
Long Term - Fascinating JV and discussions around increasing our footprint, and exploring other opportunities.

Seriously, what is not to like?

As someone who might be characterised as a "stale bull" and who has been trimming a bit of late (to diversify a very lopsided PF) I am going back into accumulate mode.

pogyted, in flowing form yesterday evening, pointed out that it was the job of the Company to ensure the market at large were made aware and valued the company as a Rolls Royce and not an old banger. Many have written that this is a weak element of the Management.

I note that the expected JORC report covers existing mines? Can anyone point me to the full scope of “Existing̶1; mines?
In terms of future expansion potential Into new Mines; presumably these are not included in the report and we use drilling exploration results as a guide. A comment from anyone with more experience of these things, would be appreciated.
