10/7/2020 07:45 | Kazakhstan pneumonia reports 'fake news' We reported moments ago that the Chinese embassy in Kazakhstan has warned its citizens about a strain of pneumonia that appears to be more deadly in the region than Covid-19. Kazakhstan's health ministry has released a statement denying the reports, labelling them "fake news". The ministry said the data relating to bacterial, fungal and viral pneumonia infections, which also included cases unconfirmed by laboratory tests, were in line with World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines. "The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan reiterates that the information provided by the Kazakh and Chinese media does not correspond to reality," it said. | brasso3

10/7/2020 07:12 | I personally think the price is being held around here whilst the new JV completes, then we are off to the races, main market listings with 100k+ pa production imo. Azer gov will renew licenses without question, probably would be dealt with already if it wasnt for covid causing delays. Sit tight, dont give away your shares cheaply, I bet mms know whats happening here for sure | sharekitchen1974

10/7/2020 00:24 | Slow but sure would be ok if expansion plans don't happen, with annual cashflow being paid out in dividends. That'd be something like triple the current rate, being around 16% yield at today's price. But I'm sure AAZ will grow. Let's see what this upcoming JV brings. | bozzy_s
10/7/2020 00:14 | I now only have a small stake here now - for old times sake and because, at some point in time they'll come good. Why? The brutal fact is, no matter how much I love the fundamentals here, its stalled. It's interesting to ponder the change in mindset on this board. A year ago it was slow but sure is good. Now the realisation seems to be coming through that this is not good enough in the current environment. The money I took out of AAZ was put to work elsewhere - its worked well - not spectacularly(not searching multi-baggers), but well. AAZ hasn't moved. Perhaps its all down to lack of ambition in a reasonable timescale. Few months ago I got into HUM, mainly 'cos it looked like AAZ a couple of years ago. Since then it has done two deals which will bring another major development on line in less than 2 years and possibly another on a (?) 5 year horizon. This seems far more structured than the information coming out here - we might have something by 2022 after being reminded continually in the past that they brought a mine on stream in 9 months. I've continually been critical of the financial management/stock market interaction of AAZ and to be frank it seems to be getting worse. Look at the spread, analysts reports came out after Bill said - we need to push ahead with that. No doubt we'll get final accounts in May 2021 again. I like this company - my shares are in the bottom drawer and I will keep them because some day they will come good (quite probably spectacularly good), but I'll try and make hay somewhere else in the intervening period. | podgyted
09/7/2020 22:30 | Saw that Jeansey. Amateurish to say the least! Seem to be working their socks off tho and there is lots to like about the set-up there. | macmuck
09/7/2020 22:04 | Copper looking strong, we must be making a fortune right now | mad foetus
09/7/2020 22:01 | HUM, SHG and TSG all broken out now. AAZs turn next? | brasso3
09/7/2020 21:51 | Mf, don’t forget the Covid antibody tests from Renx/mt Sinai collaboration due to start shipping this month. | mr roper
09/7/2020 21:11 | cheers MF I will look at them Wan Link for presentations | pogue
09/7/2020 20:36 | Recommend you also look at RENX which is also getting a Nasdaq listing right now. It has an AI test which is the best prediction of whether someone is likely to suffer from serious kidney disease. As that affects huge numbers, being able to target the right treatment quickly is hugely important. The test is $950 a time and is approved for Medicare and being rolled out in US. The potential is staggering and of course if they get first mover advantage the IP creates a huge moat as every patient deepens the AI advantage | mad foetus
09/7/2020 20:11 | Wan its not out yet they normally are pretty quick at getting them out. I will post a link when they send it to me. Last presentation is interesting its another pharma with a platform the intro says...Silence Therapeutics, SLN, develops a new generation of medicines by harnessing the body’s natural mechanism of RNA interference, or RNAi, within its cells. Our proprietary technology can selectively inhibit any gene in the genome, specifically... Nothing special really I guess there a few platforms out there Avacta and 4D have their own ones but the opportunity here is they are moving to the NASDAQ, where 2 of their competitors are who are priced in $billions whereas these guys are $millions. Having had GAN goto the NASDAQ I think there maybe an opportunity here for a few fast bucks. I am looking further into this one. | pogue
09/7/2020 20:05 | This stock is unloved by the market. Nothing more and nothing less. I can think of no other reason why it cannot progress from here. It appears that a lack of institutional interest is holding this stock back. This is why I believe a main market listing is beneficial to the company to help raise awareness about the investment case here. I continue to hold. | kfr20
09/7/2020 19:47 | Appears a buyer is mutually accommodating a seller and in sizable chunks... It’s all about buyers and sellers to make a market with investors and traders employing very different strategies and disciplines to match their needs and goals. MM’s should be coined market masters as they truly know their trade, are well researched and conduct their dealings like a well orchestrated piece of music. True professionals and very rarely miss a beat. | bleepy
09/7/2020 18:30 | many thanx jeanesy, pogue, very interesting to hear your views of the PXC presentation,,, I have not listened to it yet,,, can you post a link please, thanx, cheers Wan :-) | wanobi |
