Jeanesy - that’s some cash burn rate at 4D if true, they only raised 22m was it in Feb? though the world and it’s wife seem to be raising cash at the moment, in fact I can’t recall it ever being as busy as this on that front. Is that because all these companies are planning for massive expansion or they just shoring up balance sheets while they can.

Clinical stage Pharma are renowned for getting through the cash, should always be kept in mind. It’s one of the reasons I like juniors that look to partner - and get someone else to pay!

Guy I need to speak to re ZIOC ain’t back til Monday.

GAN's tier 1 client mentioned in recent results looks like being Churchill Downs (hxxps://t.co/tLzQaiDVYD) also looks likely to enter the Russell 2000 at close of play today.

I see that POG has fallen to 1750. It will be interesting to see what happens to it at this price. Will 1750 prove to be the new floor or will it fall lower?

Hi bleepy

While don't want to get embroiled in a Covid stats discussion; you are right to point out the relative situation wrt Azerbaijan's neighbours.
The accuracy of the WHO stats is very shakey outwith the developed nations but it has been clear over the past 3 months that infections+deaths surged in Armenia and re-emergent in Iran and Turkey though very muted in the latter.
In contrast, e.g. the Georgian figures are both very low and even more importantly, there's been no rise.
Suffice to say, if i could get hold of the normal base deaths [not that hard to work out for oneself if so inclined] and the much more elusive recent figures for ALL the actual deaths, then a plot of that would tell me what is really going on.

Whatever, this is all secondary to the simple fact that since 21Jun20, a strict lockdown has been reimposed in A. and i just though that merited a posting here.

fwliw, my own take is that, in the round, this may actually be good news for aAZ.
Although [as stated] the lockdown will make some work a bit more difficult and a little more costly we know that production and indeed exploration are continuing pretty much unimpeded. Supplies keep on coming in, the metals continue to be extracted, processed, exported and the revenues keep on coming - big time.
Sure, as above post, the JORC reports [independent assessments etc required] may be
delayed even longer.....but AAZ can still let us know the gist of things and i surely hope they continue to do so.
To the extent the lockdown reduces the odds of any infection making it into one of the sites, esp. Gedabek, then it's actually re-assuring afaic.

On the other hand, the closure of infected sites elsewhere has actually helped AAZ out a tad.
Like global supply has been choked off significantly; at least it has with copper production, which goes some way to explaining why this industrial metal is now priced appx. at Q4-2019 level and a good 30% above March lows; though guess ramped up
Chinese infrastructure spend explains much.

Thanks Bumpa. Some have said before that the company may need more cash in the final quarter. I still hold as it is has lots of potential. Only a small investment for me.

jeanesy - I think the issue may be that it is a crowded trade with everyone already positioned and of course Acacia have just flipped a decent chunk of stock too. A little indigestion maybe rather than something more?

Not been tracking the thread though so maybe they have more idea there...

i can only conclude it is as a consequence of the spread betters in the stock.
For whatever reason, the 'real' spread is reasonable but the indicated spread & therefore the spread quoted by the Spread Bet providers, is wide enough to drive three buses through.
Therefore Question: Have the MM's lost out here to some s/betters and now no longer interested in seeing that type of action here?

The WHO put out the statement re surge of infections. Sweden included has complained bitterly as the deaths per million population is 518 and should have been consulted first.

Azerbaijan in stark contrast is just 18/ml population, a testament to their effective 1st lockdown.

Neighboring Armenia is 134/ml and Iran 121/ml.

Perhaps Azerbaijan should have been consulted as their numbers no way compares to that of neighbors.

Looks like Bill M might be stuck in Baku for a while.
At least he managed to get a haircut in; had to persuade my missus to shear mine.
Hope this doesn't delay the completion of JORC updates yet longer:

Azerbaijan

Highlighting the difficulty of keeping a balance between the need to reopen hard-pressed economies and the risk of a new surge in infections, Azerbaijan on June 21 reinstated a tight lockdown to contain a spike in new cases that followed the easing of restrictions weeks ago.

Azerbaijan imposed a state of emergency to contain the outbreak on March 24. It was then lifted on May 31, with most restrictions relaxed.

But now Azerbaijanis will only be allowed to leave home "once a day for a maximum of two hours after receiving permission via text message" from the authorities, Prime Minister Ali Asadov said in a statement on June 21.

The new measures will remain in force until August 1 in the capital, Baku, and several other major cities and provinces.

Shopping malls, cafes, restaurants, and hair salons were meanwhile ordered to close as of June 21, along with cultural and educational institutions.

The move came after the number of infections in the oil-rich nation doubled in the space of the last two weeks.

Overall, the country of around 10 million people has so far reported 14,852 cases of the coronavirus and 180 deaths.

I would be interested in your view on DDDD Bumpa. I would have thought with the seller now gone these should be moving up not down. I am starting to think something else is going on there.

I like BUR a lot, think it is fundamentally very robust and massively undervalued.
If you just think about it, they fund plaintiff litigation and take 30% of the profits...as long as they can manage the costs they can't really lose.
I guess EML is the one I hold that I think has the most potential upside. Just one more push...

Afternoon folks, trading distinctly blah for me at the mo, though bit distracted with ruined - or should that be ruinous - cortijos! Closed 4D for loss, AAZ for small loss, went short Sealand first thing this morning so partly made up for but pretty uninspired right now.

Making enquiries about ZIOC with Shard though as potentially interested...

D/P ,thank you for your input.
I do value your posts on here. I am not a trader but an investor.
I only hold a few shares AAZ,POG,PUR.TSG.AVCT.....AMC and BUR.
I am well in profits with the first 5 and down with the last two.
Like they say, you can't win them all.

AAZ - They will have 25K off me at 1.36, 30K at 1.352, 50K at 1.32001. Only when I get to 60k do they say no firm quote available.
The quote is 132 to sell who decides and what is the rationale for quoting the spread is it based on average daily volume or up to a value of available shares and what is a reasonable to be able to sell within the spread?.
I know I should know but it makes no sense to me any explanation would be helpful

Thank you in advance.

AAZ may never be truly price when compared to businesses like PUR jeanesy,,, I hope they will,,, but, I suspect there will always be a discount for location if they stay only within AZER,,,, perhaps one of the reasons management are looking to other jurisdictions,, reduce 'perceived' risk and hence improve on their comparative valuation etc :-) Cheers Wan :-)

I understand that provided they deal certain quantities each period MMs get paid by the exchange for each company they provide a quote for. So it may be that Cantor have done enough for this period and are effectively leaving the desk empty

Action quite different at ACP today.
I'm no mining expert cmb, but I saw from SOLG that these sort of developments always take much longer than you think, so I find smaller, focused projects like ACP, EML, PXC are a better bet. But who knows, its all a learning game!

LOL,Wan I forgot about Bumpa,I am sure he will have an opinion. He is busy knocking walls out at the moment.

It will take at least 3 years to build the mine. I hear noises that it could be GLEN !! Who knows? I think I will have to wait until after the TEO. Perhaps a sale ? The BoD have certainly got their snouts in the trough with options !!
