AAZ - fwiw, to me it seemed as though Andrew (I think that's his name) knew NOT to ask about anything in relation to the PSA,,,, I'm most probably being completely paranoid and there's nothing to worry about,,,, but, lets face it, that was the one question, the most asked question that all of us wanted to ask and it was ignored,,,, why!!!?? interesting indeed,,,, Cheers Wan :-)

Some of the questions were definitely from potential new investors. In hindsight, we should have pointed them to this thread.

I would suggest 90% of the audience were there for Bill's presentation .. the Q's & comments came thick and fast .. next presenter had about 6 questions. AAZ is on radar

Far too much being talked about PSA,even if the Azeri's want to tweek it a couple of % no big deal, far better to just let AAZ go on and gradually expand production as in the now well defined plan and everyone gains , a takeover by a bigger player remains maybe a medium term possibility. V positive

At the AGM, they did say that overseas opportunities would have to be better than their own projects. With access to finance surely easing, can't see 'distressed assets' hanging around for too long.

your post 19957 is exactly what I thought saved me typing it.
So why is the share price not rising like other junior miners? One piece of the jigsaw missing but what is it? Perennial question. Will be reducing AAZ when my spare capital runs out its got till then to start following the gold price.
I thought the PUR presentation was good, will add tomorrow.

Well it came up a couple of times. He did say they had been and continue to actively speak to people regarding opportunities outside of Azerbaijan.

Someone basically asked for an explanation of the PSA... that was a waste of time and bandwidth! Why can't people do their homework in their own time?

I am not sure about that Bazboa. Why would they do that with all the potential they have on their own doorstep ?

I kept asking the question as did many others WAN but he refused to put it directly to Bill ?!! he did say that the relations between the company and the government were very good though. We may/may not get further response about the questions about the PSA at some point.

As for the CEO of PUR i was very impressed with the presentation . He answered all the questions really well and it was a very informative delivery. he told us that they are preparing to do some more drilling and exploration within the next few weeks and all is on track for a first pour in production by the end of the year.

Probably be online in a few days. It really confirmed what we already knew, hope the share price responds at some point!

Questions asked didn't reveal anything much new. Knocks notions of nationalisation on the head, but disappointed he didn't get challenged on the Azeri discussions announced 9 months ago!

AAZ - real shame they ignored all the PSA questions, hmmm,,, I know we would not get an answer but it would have been interesting to hear the manner of his response!!! he did say however that he'd never, never, never heard anything around the question of nationalisation,,, cheers Wan :-)

i have not been to one of these before, what do others make of it?
i think Bill seemed very relaxed every time the relationship with Govt. was discussed
i would like to think there may be something they are doing outside the country as this has been referenced several times without any specifics - any thoughts?

I do like his manner, a confident delivery.'Never, ever, ever crossed mind to be worried about nationalisation. The Govt treat us very, very well'
