Considering the various RNS have added somewhere in the region of $0.5B of confirmed new gold etc, £20M on the market cap should be just the beginning?

Our timing here just couldn't be any better for scaling up and new discoveries could it.., with short leads and no red tape to start mining them..

Buckle up.. :o)

Good morning all and good luck today :-)

up 26 !!!

unfortunately, however,,, I cannot help but think this is the Iran/Trump situation causing a flight to the safety of GOLD (or should I say perceived safety of GOLD)

With the volume and spread much improved and the sharp price movement we will now attract traders, which given the very limited free flow will further enhance liquidity. I think realistically, £2 by year end and doubling to £3 by this time next year are eminently achievable. If POG continues to strengthen and we get a fraction of the exploratory news we expect, £2 will happen this summer and I wouldn't be surprised by £6 next year. As I have said before, it feels like we are at the end of the beginning of the AAZ story: everything to date has been to get us to the position of being able to self-fund the full exploration and exploitation of the vast resources we own.

Being a noobie investor I did a lot of reading before I started last year...one snippet was when reading rns' look out for words like "transformational" and "exceptional"....and there it is in the agm statement....glad my research last year wasn't for nothing....have a good day I'm off to saw some wood and bang in random nails

Gold flying...Serabi srb just released an rns They got more gold! Just a taster here "Whilst a new Preliminary Economic Assessment ("PEA") is well underway, it is clear the Meio vein is shaping up to be a very significant orebody that has now been traced for a strike length of well over 1.3 kilometres. These additional drilling results are being incorporated into a further revision of the geological resource, which in turn will be incorporated into the PEA on the Coringa Project, results of which are expected to be disclosed before the end of July 2019."

Whilst nothing new in the AGM message it's also important to note that it is all positive. A little snippet the other day said production is slightly ahead of guidance (or did I dream that?). POG is over $100 more than expected by the board. The £ is historically down against the $. We've identified numerous potential mines. The list goes on. I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you have AAZ you have the winning ticket in the lottery

We will obviously have pull backs, it's part of the game, however those who look beyond the short term movement and can see the bigger picture will benefit the most. Taking a line from Mattjos why give away £1 coins for 50p?

It's a nice AGM statement but nothing new there. The big question for me is whether we at some point retrace to say 120 (can't believe I'm saying that, we only went through it yesterday) or whether we move straight up to 150 ish

The POG can always be manipulated, but the sheer weight of money that suggested the key resistance point was 1350 indicates to me that this may be the big break. Paul Tudor-Jones said a couple of weeks ago that if POG breaches 1400 he expects 1700 very quickly. Hedgeye saying go long gold. Ray Dalio and Howard Marks say it should be at least 10% of your PF at the end of the market cycle.
And the stock market is at all time highs. Which indicates that risk-off hasn't really started yet. I'm no gold bug, but it would be surprising if a move like this, with a background like this, isn't sustained.

On the report today, it was interesting that it gave a 2 week timescale before getting initial results back from further exploration of shallow target areas. With 31 targets on the initial list, that is a huge amount of news flow that we can expect.

Also, we have been told that dividends will be 25% of FCF, but when I saw Bill it was suggested - and it is fair to say he was receptive but made no commitment - that if POG rose then the excess could be used to increase the divi. After all, if the level of cash that AAZ needs as a buffer, to fund exploration and to build up a warchest, is a fixed amount.
