The long list of ii's that Bill and Steve visited and presented to in the past 6 months or so may now be kicking themselves if they didn't take a position ....

Waiting for a significant pull back now to revisit £1 say, is likely not gonna happen. It is likely to get more and more expensive for ii's who want to buy in ....

All,

Fabulous update today - I think it my last comment on here I opined that explo was set to be the key to really get this on the radar. Early days, but it looks very tasty indeed insofar as what they might unearth down the line.

Incidentally, technicians will probably advise that the RSI is getting a little heated - be that as it may, one can slice and dice around these levels if one so wishes given the run. But, if one held a core position(distinctly different to a trading position at the same time) prior to today, there seems to be every reason to retain a core holding, since, with gold marching ahead, this should go significantly higher in due course. Prudent chaps might see sense in disposing of trading positions to crystallise gains and reduce risk - but a core hold seems very sensible indeed.

Holders and people who read this Board plus a few others are all that will have read today's RNS so far.

When this gets reported on in the press and share price Angel puts out a broker note with a revised target share price over the coming days/weeks there should be further interest coming from far and wide.

Combine this with the x-div date next week you have a very compressed time scale and a perfect storm for the share price to move higher ...

It will move higher the next few hours days and weeks doc.
Just a bit of churn as some leave the party and pass on to those seeing the longer term picture.
The 10*FCF valuation is hard to argue against now

Hi Wanobi Bwana praised you on AMC BB so you must be experienced investor. I have invested in AAZ this morning and love your optimistic future price of aaz which is in line with Bwana's who has done a lot of research into this and AMC share.ATB

Sb it would be defended on the basis of presumably all known facts are not in place; they could never quantify a true value to Ordubad when a spade hasn't really scratched the surface. We know it has, yet in potential scope it hasn't, how do you place a value on something you have yet to quantify; it would have to be mind blowing and even then still difficult to manage.

Anyhow spoke with St Brides this morning and their comment on entry to the AGM, was that it only requires proof of holding.

thanx SB, 225p is a nice target to start with :-)… but, their target is to become a mid tier so they'll be looking for other projects outside of azer to size up the whole business with all the cash they'll be throwing off :-)… I think 500p in a few years time or they get taken out at 300p are not unreasonable scenarios.... but then what do I know :-) LOL cheers Wan

Will the BB contributors at the AGM tomorrow be wearing identifiers..?, such as a nice hat..? or 'Mcdonalds' style name tags..?, that would be even funnier, or will it just be the beaming smiles that give it away.. :o)

Rigger,

to me - AAZ is shortly (if not already) to be on radars as a target acquisition. Then people who get paid to evaluate (and defend) such approaches will assign a value to the resources....

just using a 10* FCF model (given the comment yesterday of the LOM being extended out "well beyond 2025"...so I'm using 10yr as standard industry metric) gives a valuation of:

(7cents*4*10)/1.25FX = 225p

From 32 page report..

Ugur Region
Three targets are under investigation within the Ugur Region (Figure 2) and summary details are provided below..

Zs7 - Gyzyljadag East
The Zs7 target has been designated “Gyzyljadag East” and its centre is located approximately 4.8 km NW of the Gedabek open pit mine. It lies within the CA and is close to the Ugur mine.

Zs8 - Gyzyjadag Shallow
The Zs8 target has been designated “Gyzyljadag Shallow” and its centre is located approximately 5 km NW of the Gedabek open pit mine. It lies within the CA and is close to the Ugur mine.

Zs9 – Yagubulu
The Zs9 target has been designated “Yagubulu̶1; and its centre is located approximately 4.2 km NW of the Gedabek open pit mine. It lies within the CA and lies close to the Ugur mine.

Maybe Ugur2,3 and 4 and all close to the existing Ugur mine.

Thanks jbravo2, I do read this thread on a daily basis, although I don't tend to contribute, as the more knowledgeable posters let us all know what we need to know about the company and its amazing prospects.

The amount of data AAZ have and are spewing out is quite mind boggling, to the extent I'm now struggling to form any opinion as to an exit price to begin selling, there is so much potential as yet untapped and the company just keeps delivering the bacon.

Also contained within today’s rns is a 32 page report...

Further details of the survey methodology and results can be found via the following link:

Just reading and digesting this report alongside the last two rns’s.

As mattjos commented, just extraordinary.

Nice one mattjos.

Statements from yesterday’s rns now making sense..

“The acquisition, translation and review of primary geology, exploration and technology reports, compiled during the Soviet era, is an important aid to the further exploration of the region and Anglo Asian is working closely with the Government of Azerbaijan to gain access to these reports.
Consideration of the current life-of-mine (“LOM”) of the Anglo Asian deposits, together with the exploration potential of the Contract Areas and the Company’s demonstrated ability to fast-track projects into production, provides confidence in predicting that the LOM will be extended well beyond 2025.”

And from today’s rns...

"Some of the targets straddle the Gedabek Contract Area boundary. However, under our Production Sharing Agreement, the Company has the right to explore and exploit deposits beyond its boundaries, provided there is geological continuity that has been demonstrated on the basis of structural geology framework and ore formation models. These targets could therefore lead to the possible expansion of the Gedabek Contract Area.

All,
For the sake of openness, I have been running a s/b position of over £1k/p for some considerable length of time with an average around the 48p mark. Closed it this morning as it has reached my target position. Have not touched any of the physical shares i hold as these will certainly be staying put for the bigger picture to evolve this next 3-4 years but, the s/b gains now reduce my overall average for the physical shares to 11p (not counting divis) & was always my plan to do this.
There seems to be strong background demand as did not take long for the sell to be worked.
I hate s/betting and so this is also a big weight off my mind, particularly as the position was only supported by a nominal £3k of cash in the account.

I firmly believe we will run on much, much higher from here over the next 3-4 years, as I have always maintained but, it feels good to have closed that out now (as planned) & does free up some good cash in the event there is a fallback here at any time over the coming months.

As to the news itself … absolutely fantastic and better than I had hoped for. The great thing is that much of these new discoveries have never been identified before & keep adding considerable weight to the Behre Dolbear report as to the true size of the Gedabek contract area. I am quite sure that exploration in/around Ordubad will similarly prove up far more than currently indicated.
The Russian data was good but, modern exploration techniques will find much more and modern processing techniques will enable a lower cut-off grade to be economic.

A few more pieces in the jigsaw today … it is developing into something really quite extraordinary

mattjos
