07/12/2016 22:34 | The only metric that AAZ is adequately rated on is Price to Earnings but, that is a historical metric and will drop dramatically when the FY16 results are published. On Price to Book Value, Price to Sales & Price to Cash Flow - AAZ is pretty much the cheapest PM miner on the entire LSE .. despite the seeming stellar rise from 4p. Just shows how completely destructive Bashirov's selling was through 2014 & 2015. That took the company valuation down to absurd levels. Folk still don't seem to understand that whilst he was drip-selling for such an extended period, the company was growing on all fronts and becoming significantly stronger financially. This is the sort of detailed comparative analysis that forums like ADVFN afford the private investor and which the fund managers and institutions generally miss completely. SP Angel, Sergei .. if you are reading this thread, you might consider revising your coverage along similar lines! Still a lot, lot further to run on the share price before the mkt cap reaches the sensible area | mattjos
07/12/2016 22:23 | courtesy of Chipperford. A mountain of work he puts into tracking miners: Value Composite comparison table progress: Basically I have built in all the infrastructure. Just a bit of financial reporting updating to go. Stocks in the PM space are scored on: PER (Price Earnings Ratio), PBV (Price to Book Value), PSR (Price to Sales Ratio), Ev/EBITDA (Enterprise Value to Earnings before Interest, Tax, Depreciation & Amortisation), PCF (Price to Cash Flow). Lowest scores represent low valuation (ie share price appears low for this metric). The 'TOTAL' column is a simple sum of all 5 metrics and the table is sorted on this column in order to rank all the stocks in terms of their current under/over-valuation I will probably put the completed table into a header scroll box. In the meantime here is the table-to-date in order to provide a 'taster'. Please note that the scores are rounded to whole numbers so Total may not appear an exact sum. Stock . PER . PBV . PSR . 07/12/2016 20:32 | Wonder if gold will bottom or FED will interfere. Suspect an explosive move | edjge2
07/12/2016 20:18 | Chip thread certainly worth a read this evening.AAZ still grossly undervalued on most metrics and against all its peers | mattjos
07/12/2016 19:23 | A good couple of days here. Steady as she goes. Hoping for POG to stabalise and drilling news before Xmas. Next news will be probably be production figures in about a week. | jeanesy
07/12/2016 18:48 | jbravo I'm in that boat for my sins, bought below 25. Holding and hoping. Not much of a trrader anyway. | edjge2
07/12/2016 15:58 | Just remember guy`s we went up on strong volume and down on very low volume.... We should get passed the 34p barrier this time...and have a pause on 40p ish. | terropol
07/12/2016 15:50 | Just have to sit on your hands now and let the small free float churn over. This will be testing the mid 30's again very soon. | brasso3
07/12/2016 15:45 | the rising price hardly flushing out any sellers & those that are selling are seeing their stock get snaffled pretty quickly by the buyer(s) | mattjos
07/12/2016 15:43 | Matt I agree. The 34p to 35p area is where the resistance is as we have retracted from that price on three trading sessions recently. | brasso3
07/12/2016 15:38 | 30p round number psychology coming up but, we've already breached this level before so, don't expect it to be as much of a test this time as last | mattjos
07/12/2016 15:27 | But in nice way Brasso3 :) | scottishfield
07/12/2016 15:26 | Jbravo You are such a tease! | brasso3
07/12/2016 15:19 | Very little stock around now. Can't imagine there will be much til new highs now. The only stuff will be from people regretting not having sold before at c.30p. Let those who are doubtful out. Soon enough there won't be any sellers at 40p and those who were sellers will wish they'd held on with this share more than any other they've owned. Another day nearly done. Another day closer. | jbravo2
07/12/2016 14:07 | Sigh. If you haven't grasped it by now I can't help you sorry :) | jbravo2
07/12/2016 14:00 | A bit of strength in gold, silver and copper today. AAZ seems to be moving independently of of PM of late. | brasso3
07/12/2016 13:54 | She's held it so far, gold 1270 approx. Just above old H&S neckline. | edjge2
07/12/2016 12:19 | Q2 17 maybe for official Reserves figure but, I would expect resource figure before that based on indications given recently | mattjos
07/12/2016 11:57 | Jbravo, I don't expect we'll get any significant drilling news until Q2. With gold in the doldrums what is the rush? | zhockey
07/12/2016 09:41 | Cat and Mouse with the buyer. As long as all the small PIs sit on their hands this will be above 30p in the next few sessions. | brasso3
07/12/2016 09:28 | Can buy 25k at 27.5 or sell 75k at 27.3. Much tighter spread than normal. Selling slowing down. Reckon more and more of those holding realise what the real game is. | jbravo2
07/12/2016 08:33 | Not quite Leonard Cohen ( Bird on a Wire), but I'll give you that 2sporrans. | scottishfield
07/12/2016 08:30 | A subdued open. But I know you're all out there, casting a beady eye; like a long row of buzzards perched upon a telephone cable. | 2sporrans
07/12/2016 02:14 | Someone is back accumulating again here. All the larger trades seem to be buys and were reported late. 50k at 26.49p 35k at 26.52p 54k at 26.49p 35k at 27.01p 54k at 26.9p | brasso3 |
