October 5303 oz reported plus 9 months production 2016 reported in 3rd qtr 49,874.
Gives 55,177 for ten months. November and December cold months unlikely to exceed October's number. Forecast 66,000 oz for 2016.

5,304 oz is a bit on the low side if they are to hit 69,000oz for the FY. With flotation gold it may be shy of 6,000oz for October. Obviously they are going to be close to the low end target so its not the end of the world. All in all it will have been a very good year for AAZ.

They need to find 13,000oz - 13,500oz in November and December.

Looking forward to the January FY update.

Last time I asked the concentrate goes to Georgia not to Switzerland like the dore.
The essential point stands of course, that only the dore is reported on as the concentrate has a longer path to take.

there is the delayed gold production Credit from the flotation which is not reported in the same way as we have to wait for the refiner in Switzerland to credit the value to us after the month end reporting period.

Agreed, they look on target to hit the forecast.

The local costs in Manat continue to fall ... Manat now 10% weaker than last devaluation (1.70 v 1.55)

Gold production for october 165kg:

If they can achieve around the same for November and December then they should just about hit 69,000 ounces for the year

gold in doldrums but I suspect divi here may rival HGM eventually, given potential. Those who got and kept HGM at 50p must be smiley.Suspect gold up with rate adjust or nut with financial/social mayhem that will unfold. Detrumpers active in the States already. Italians and EC? Spratling Islands and China. Banking crash its a matter of time while gold rollercoasts.

crazy .. you're are not moderated or restricted in any way.
On ipads it often takes 1-2 minutes viewing the last page of the thread before it lets you write to the thread. Try that & sure you'll be ok

jbravo ... Reza is now 63 (I think) & has to share his time between USA, UK & Azerbaijan. Not easy, given that he has a wife and family.
Sadly, we none of us go on for ever so, particularly given his large stake in the company, succession planning / exit methodology will be on his mind.
Not yet I hope & it would be terrific to see him head the RNS announcing a maiden dividend.

Matt, I wonder if you have me on the moderated list? Obviously, I am a 'blue' so you can't really moderate me - however, when I view this thread via my ipad app, I can look but not post (just this thread).

I think my earlier posts on this thread commented on the debt, so you might have seen me as something that I am not. For the record, AAZ is my largest holding and I am here for the long haul.

TIA

homebrew ... its quite understandable but, the biggest gains are made in the long term, Knowing when to simply sit on your hands and do nothing is, arguably, one of the most difficult things to do & to learn when to do but, in the case of AAZ, I believe is the correct strategy.

I'll admit to being one of those people. I had a bit of a wobble when I saw the price of gold keep falling and reduced.
Kicking myself now but nearly back to where I started having fortunately made some gains elsewhere that have offset most of the difference.

Thanks re comments on TA .. there seems to be a growing list of folk here who keep trying to jump in and out but, each time are left on the shore as the boat sails away. Must be very frustrating for them but, its not a sensible strategy in AAZ, given the extremely limited free-float and the clear evidence of a very large buyer at this level

RV will want to see his 15 year plus involvement at least at £5 at some point in the next 2/3 years

its been before here but AAZ has to be one of the best value stocks in the mining sector plus with massive growth profile

Matt - great analysis on 'mind the gap'

it seems clear to me that the shares are hold mostly by investors who are looking at well over £1 very short term. yes there will be traders but as Matt has clearly shown through his trading and technical analysis these shares 'gap' down are mopped up and share price then consolidates. Plus the volume of 'trader' shares is minimal.

Q4 is shaping up to be good i think , plus we have the copper!!

I guess we can take it that pixi joined the ever growing list of those making the wrong call.
I guess in it's strictest sense it's a 50:50 call with one side being a bad call and the other quite simply delicious.
To sell or buy.

The price climb here now means many people are sat on small fortunes. Me included. So its understandable.
I'm not cashing in for a small fortune though. I want a large 7 figure fortune.
The thing to look at is the future. Not your current gain, but where it should be.

List the reasons why this could be higher in 1 week, 1 month, 6 months or 1 year.
And the reasons why it could be lower in those timescales.

It never makes a convincing case for anything other than BUY.
