Not as far as I'm aware bleepy.
Sure there might be 90k oz (can't remember ever seeing a figure for it) but I'd be amazed if they ever moved the pads. The g/t left over is very very very low and its only 90k oz or whatever due to the tonnage involved.

Correct me,but from memory they stated the heap leach psds contained 90,000ozs of residual gold after cyanide treatment. The intention being to recycle treated heap leach through plant recovery process thereby leaving room on the pads for new ore to be leached. They have since expanded their heap leach pads/area.

The amount of room left at the moment for HL is limited. Of course the contract areas are huge so they could find new areas but they'd need a bit of work and involve some set up costs (flattening new land before lining etc)

This is where plant flexibility is key. If needed they'll be able to flotation treat first in areas where sulphide is being mined and then re-treat in AL adding in any higher grade oxide to sweeten.
The tailings dam can cope with an increased throughput in the AL/flotation for some time once they are starting to be de-watered somewhat.

As to results for the year, I expect the profits could surprise a few people. If the reserve upgrade delivers a reasonable increase then the amortisation/depreciation is going to be a lot lower this year. We broke the back of that the last couple of years, so long as we get that increase.

Yes and increased production

even better if they use AL zhockey. Quicker processing times

Matt more like AL IMO at those grades, with the real low grade stuff going on the heap.

I expect the Al plant to become dedicated to oxide and flotation expanded to deal with the sulphide. Assuming they find enough ore of course.

How to do bottle roll testwork:http://mine-engineer.com/mining/minproc/cyanide-leach-test.htmOne of the pleasures I get from investing is to try and understand as much as I possibly can about the business that the company does. So when they said they were doing bottle roll testwork on the ore at the Ugur find, I wanted to know what that entailed.Appears a very quick methodology to determine how amenable the ore is to cyanide leaching.Initial results seem to suggest this would be a heap leach operation and with all ore being oxide, no copper to complicate the extraction process or require elevated cyanide levels.Wish they would get on with Bittibulag results ... they have known what's there for ages now

Good to see that the fall was halted today. As I said a long time ago, production target will not be met! Sadly rise in oil price due to cut in production has meant yet another fall in POG. We will probably be down again tomorrow!! We need those drilling results. Not sure where the bottom in POG will be . The fall from 1330 to 1174 is pretty savage and why we have fallen so far as well, despite the mostly positive news !

Looks to be the first 5-Wave advance completed and also the ABC corrective wave (2 stage Bear retreat) from the peak.

Thus far, the correction has not entered the territory of Wave 1 ... I don't get concerned about the candle wicks.

Assuming that 2009 - 2011 was Wave 1 of the major pattern & then 2009 - 2015 was Wave 2 then, what we have seen in 2016 is the first Wave of major Wave 3 & now the corrective pattern for that first Wave.

(All the major waves are themselves made up of this pattern type, only on a smaller scale).

It's probably going to need more time around here (drifting a little sideways around the 21p level, absent any news) to prove this baseline to participants before it can get going and then start the most interesting part .... third Wave of major Wave 3.

Whether or not one is interested in the theory or give it any credence, the patterns themselves seem apparent in the charts.

Catsick nailed it, this is all about expansion and the gold price. Everything else is just noise, yes the electric plant is good but it ain't gonna multibag the so.

Hopefully share price should rise from here, next RNS should be some drilling news. Recovery in gold price will see a big rise.

The electricity connection really was a critical requirement for ramping up copper production which is much more electricity intensive than the gold side of the business, using diesel gensets was probably costing over 30 cents per kwh so cutting down to 3.5 cents will allow them to ramp up copper production at much lower costs, What I am really waiting for though is more news on how the drilling is going on this is what will define the company's prospects going forward !!

Well the medium/long term is better represented by the updates on the website.
There's a snippet about Ordubad on there which is encouraging.

"Exploration work also continued at the Ordubud contract licence area in the Nakhichevan region of Azerbaijan. During H1 2016, 42 linear metres of trenching was completed. Access was gained by 2,000 metres of road cleaning to reach exploration adits at the Pyazbashi deposit which were developed during the Soviet era. 360 metres of underground rehabilitation was completed, plus portal support infrastructure that allowed 583 metres of channel sampling from which 740 samples were taken that confirmed the presence of gold mineralisation in the quartz-kaolin vein system."

A bit more work carried out than I thought they'd managed at Ordubad. Piyazbashi is one of the higher grade underground targets at Ordubad from the old IPO docs. The old work reckoned it could average 6g/t and Behre Dolbear found grab samples of 11-12g/t. Sounds a bit like Gadir to me.

The short-medium term upside is better represented by the Gedabek work and we knew most of what has been posted up.

Good update and great for the medium / long term IMO. 2k ounces less is slightly disappointing but the financials should start to reflect these savings, hedge, etc going forward.
