Great run for gold and Aaz.
Brexit was a mere diversion, albeit welcome, for what really lies ahead in economy.
Not sure if gold or Aaz is going to the levels hoped for on here but if they get to 50% of the predicted levels, $4000 per oz or 200p per share, we will all be every happy. Good luck all

Silver on fire this evening. Fed can't launch next round of QE all the time the markets are this bullish so, expect the markets to roll over pretty soon and then dive spectacularly. Will be interesting to read the rationale this time around. We're heading for a train wreck yet the drivers seem to be opening up the throttles even further. I wonder at what price the paper shorts on gold will have to buckle & fold. Maybe they'll hang on until $1,900 .. At which point, on the break, they will get toasted.

I think this article explains this quite well at present:

"Meanwhile, a desperate Italy fully aware of what is coming, is considering increasing Atlante’s firepower by a further €5bn or more by drawing money from pension funds, the state or foreign investors..."

Even people's pension funds are now pots to be plundered by the state to try and shore up the crumbling system. What exactly happens to your pension if the rescue attempt fails?? That surely is a question that more and more people will be asking as the contagion spreads

Jbravo,

I am talking about a revaluation above 20p. The past is the past.

Re 3419
What exactly do you think is happening now? I'd call the last 3 months a revaluation. It seems to be continuing wouldn't you say?

More patient buying today.
I'm not sure we need that fund though Matt. I wonder where this buying is taking place? I'd love for some of it to be from Azerbaijan. I reckon someone there could be a patient buyer for a few months yet.
50p? I agree matt. Easy peasy

That is all speculation, my point is we need firm statements for the market to really take note and revalue this company.

yes, exactly jbe81 .. that is what most don't seem to grasp - the sheer size of Gedabek. There will be pockets of higher grade than we see now.
Gedabek is one of the most challenging ore bodies in the world.
The company is now developing a reputation for innovative approaches to production from here & that know-how will serve them well as the company expands

For me the flotation plant and in particular the second sag mil as well as the improvements mentioned at the agm are signs that AAZ are expanding. AAZ will just keep churning out gold, there will never be a JORC reserve for the whole of Gedabek, its too big, they will just drill at bit more at a time. Then there are the other sites. And then there is Chodvar. So no reason share price will linger at 20p

Hi Matt,

Of course a rocketting gold price may move the share price but I would not want to depend on that. Expansion is in the hands of AAZ, the gold price isn't.

zhockey, why exactly? There is absolutely no issues for the next 5+ years production from Gedabek.

I guess you either agree & believe that gold & silver are heading so much, much higher or you don't. For me there is absolutely no doubts.

The higher PM's go, the higher AAZ share price will go. The higher PM's go, the more keen the Az government will be to get Chovdar (at least) into production as fast as possible and contributing to the state.
It is sheer lunacy to have a 'good to go' gold mine at Chovdar sat there with over $200m invested on it .. doing nothing!

Don't forget, as gold increases in value, it is also reflecting the state of the global economy. As that deteriorates, Az economy likely to deteriorate at a faster rate than others simply because they have not diversified it away from oil fast enough.

the MM's do not want it to rise. That is how they have made the order book like for weeks now. They would be very happy to see it stand still for a long time so they can pickup the bored/edgy traders.
As soon as it starts to rise the buy limits get slammed shut. Time & time again you cant buy any but, can sell a bucket load for the mid-price or above.
It's inching closer to the 20p and in the process the market is taking out the only volume seller there is & denying the MM's the opportunity to pick up many in the process.
We all know it's still silly cheap.
I do wonder when a fund might take an interest now

A few shares available up to 20p, looks like some of the ones at 17p have been taken, but could rise very quickly after 20p
