It is Brasso but always nice to have it formally confirmed.

Just goes to show what impact an RNS can have even though it is mostly information the regulars on here already know. It is important to communicate to the market on a regular basis and quarterly is not sufficient IMO.

Only on my phone with rubbish signal but those 18908 buys that have gone through rings a bell from last week that buys of that size also went through I think maybe wrong. But would be good if a few more show up. GLA

Trying to hide a few of the buys as sells with this spread. Not really sure it's working. Limited sellers.
Can't really understand why you'd sell and crystallise this to pounds sterling and lose the exposure to gold and dollars anytime soon but there will always be someone I suppose :D

All we need now is some news about sustainability , preferably some new gold targets or news about some drilling. We need the gold to mine !!

If anyone is going to the AGM could they please quiz them on this. We need more gold to mine in the future. What targets / plans do we have for this ?

It's so much nicer buying in an uptrend. Especially one that's likely to last years.

@brasso... I'd be surprised if we get any more indication on costs than we have already at mid year. We can guess pretty close I reckon anyway. Biggest determinant from here will be ensuring we get a nice big total oz mined to divide it all by. Second SAG mill being commissioned in therefore great news

It is quite possible we could have generated enough free cash in Q2 to fast track the second floatation plant. At $4.5m it would be covered easily now if they wish.

Its going to be raining outside for some time. Best to stay under the Gold/ AAZ umbrella.

"Given the encouraging pick up of production in the second quarter and the resultant expected H1 2016 production performance (full second quarter production figures will be announced mid-July) we remain positive that we will achieve our gold production target of between 73,000 to 77,000 ounces and our copper production target of 1,700 to 2,100 tonnes of copper for the full year 2016."

Sag mill being commissioned . Confident of reaching production Targets.
Sounds like a very good second half .

Surely at the Q2 results they will give us a new figure to work with on the operating costs. In 2015 we know it was around $726 per ounce. I think factoring in the second Manat devaluation and production improvements we could be down to $600/ oz. Gold could be around $1400 bz the time that news arrives.

First target now $1367 the high of 2014, then I'm looking at $1394 but the short term target for me on this run is $1550 which goes back to 2013. If we get past those targets the only one left is the moon. Who'd put a price on that. GLA could be an exceptional week here.

Gold breaking out of its flag on the hourly chart .. I'd suggest the run to $1,400 is now underway

only another 25% increase in price of Gold, denominated in GB£, and it will be in blue sky, past previous all time highs.
given the current situation, that looks entirely do'able.
I can see another 10% coming off GB£, relative to US$, in the near term & equally another 10% going onto the price of gold in US$ terms.

Anyone watching Spot Gold GBP/oz would be a buyer as it clears £1,200 / oz.

Lets not forget that in the case of AAZ, once the valuation finally reverts to something approaching its EV, the market will then look to value it according to its earnings / earnings potential.
In this case, whilst its revenues & profits may be primarily derived from its US$ trading activities, hey will be translated back in to p / share as far as the UK market is concerned, since that is where it is listed.
Sterling's weakness is yet another lever here that will amplify its valuation.

At 15p or under, right now, this is still a case of buying £1 coins for less than 50p, as far its enterprise value is concerned. on that basis I remain a buyer and was so at the bell on Friday
