31/7/2020 17:22 | I have won something (just)!!! Results of the game from last Sunday are below with RBW leading the pack just ahead of AAU. Not bad I guess, with the FTSE 100 down 3.7%. I will compile a list for next week if anyone is interested. Anyway my choice for next week is again RBW as they didn't have their JORC RNS this week. Poster. Share Opening. Closing %age 1st Odsjp. 31/7/2020 17:08 | There is one problem about selling out Wan, the Azeri government will have a big say on who they can sell to as the JV cannot be sold on without their consent I believe. I am sure I read it somewhere or it could be experience of the oil one I worked on. Either way if the Azeri don't like their new partner that can make working there difficult so they will have a final say in it. May not be an issue but something to remember if a Armenian company want to buy them :0) | ![]() pogue

31/7/2020 17:02 | I do jeanesy, but, then I think they are setting up a portfolio of opportunities for a big fish to come and buy,,,, BUT, I'm the only one thinking that way,,, and I'm most probably wrong LOL LOL,,, time will tell :-) Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi

31/7/2020 16:41 | Great end to the week here. Hopefully when news arrives next week we wont have the sell on news brigade ! Incidently does anyone think that AAZ might do a JV with anyone else ? I hope that they just concentrate on what they have on their doorstep as their main focus. Hopefully next week's update will show us the potential we still have in that respect. Good weekend all :) | ![]() jeanesy

31/7/2020 15:29 | My SIPP is with James Hay Partnership. Generally, dividends are paid the day after official payment date, but I've still not received yesterday's divi. Anyone else still waiting? | ![]() farnesbarnes
31/7/2020 15:16 | Perhaps the authors of the piece are busily tucking AAZ away before they 'discover' it? :-) | ![]() lefrene
31/7/2020 15:12 | I have just spent the past hour lying in the sun listening to this week's Investors Chronicle podcast which was entirely focused for a whole hour on Gold. Why is it rising? What are the factors driving it? How to play that as an investor - physical gold ETCs, gold miner ETFs and of course, individual gold miners. I reckon that AAZ was just about the only gold miner listed in London that was not mentioned during the entire podcast. This at least makes me think that we are still largely undiscovered by the herd but nonetheless, disappointing that we are not getting the coverage we deserve as a low cost, debt free, dividend paying gold miner in a podcast devoted that very theme. Oh well! | ![]() crazycoops
31/7/2020 15:03 | My brother is the same. No interest in the outside world. Plods along without a care in the world doing his thing. However, if you want to make money, you need to consider this stuff - just don't end up caring about it. | ![]() bonio10000
31/7/2020 14:57 | Bonio10k I knew a guy that never watched the news, never read the papers and never looked at news online. He said it's all bad news and he can't change it anyway. He was the happiest guy I knew. | ![]() katsy |
