EVG - massive churn yesterday and today more weak hands have folded,,, should get stickier now one hopes and I would suspect a blue finish later on, possibly a lot higher than where we are right now,,,, let's see, GLA Holders, Cheers Wan :-)

thanx Mj, for the record, I have no intention of selling at the moment and agree that makes no sense at all,, whatever happens the stock is still undervalued at this level, should be at 250p and hopefully will get there after JORC :-) Cheers Wan :-)

I genuinely believe that Bill & Steve see AAZ development as the real defining achievements of their careers.
Yes, Reza is now taking some money out of the business in the form of a dividends .. who can blame him after all this time & it also rewards us all but, sell the business? in the middle of a gold bull market and with so many expansion options laid out before them? I don't see it.

Steve thinks that Clontibret and the Longford-Massif could be the next Fosterville .. do you think he wants to have AAZ sold before he's proven that & if he does prove it, do you think they would then sell?
Finding and proving a new 'Fosterville' would catapult AAZ into a whole new league, way beyond where it currently sits.

I think folk would be daft not to stay in & see where the Irish JV leads us & I'm damn sure Reza feels same, not to mention finding the porphyries at Gedabek & Ordubad.

6 months ago I bet Brent Johnson of
@SantiagoAuFund
a #gold coin on the direction of the U.S. dollar. If the Dollar Index is over 97.62 on Jan 20th 2021 Brent wins. If it's under I win. It just broke below 92.8. You can see the bet being made at minute 13.

Why would Reza sell if he can collect dividends for the next 10 - 20 years.

Wan Reza’s son was at the last public AGM, there appears to me a next generation succession plan fermenting, as Stephen whilst fairly young also has extra help, think it would raise a chuckle if I inappropriately said the young lady is being gro....; no can’t say it ;0))) but she is certainly more than a young apprentice. As for good old Bill, well we wouldn’t want to see him go but finance people are everywhere and I’d trust the board to find a suitable replacement. There’s a lot they can achieve though before any of them hang up their boots and that’s where I see the “in a hurry bit”; just will not be as easy in a Covid world due to lab delays etc.

I think you'll find that Steve Westhead sees Ireland as something very special indeed and potentially the crowning achievement of his career.
Yes, Reza & John have sons involved in the business & neither wanting to sell up as there is still so much more to achieve with the business

aha, thanx Mj, I do need to be told when I am wrong and very much appreciate being told so,,, its that 'we're in a hurry' statement from the AGM that stirs these thoughts in me,,, plus, the boards/major shareholders age,,, price of gold going up and up,,, etc etc,,, but, if you believe they'll take Ireland to production, fair enough,,, but, I'll stand by my prediction and let's see what unfolds :-) Cheers Wan :-)

I have no idea but my understanding is that Reza's son is involved in AAZ and John Sununu's son, who is also a US politician, has been to the mines so it may be that they see this as a dynasty

They would take the lot at 155p. So they want shares.

Yes it’s nice to see CFEQ working with a 5p spread. As a result they’ve been making most of the action this morning and volume ain’t bad with this reduced spread.
Admittedly gold is helping somewhat :D

Technically I recall someone I respect saying 157 was the key level here. It is very difficult to see what stops AAZ teaching aths over the next few weeks

200p would still be very cheap allseeingeye, where else can you buy this sort of inflation proof income, prospects, and solid debt free assets for so little capital?

very interesting re. HGM & POG … could end up with both off the London exchange & the resulting monies looking for new gold mining investments.

A wall of money likely casting about & AAZ head and shoulders above most others.

TSG investors might now be keen to keep the majority investor on board else risk also being taken

I would have probably sold some yesterday if I had of been in front of the screen. I think the story is building and the is some easy government money to be had for FDBK going forward.
