Agree 100%.

The system will limp along. But PMs will have their day in the sun.

As long as the masses can fly to the med for 2 weeks, they have no interest or understanding of currency wars.

bonio, I suspect that once the USA election is over we will see the virus disappear like snow on a summers day, all will swiftly return to something close to whatever 'normality' might be, and 'paying for the awful unavoidable' virus disaster will fill the MSM, whilst the ongoing effects of the repo-market collapse will continue to be kept firmly under the carpet. Whoever gets their man into the White House will have a full three years to blame everything on the virus, while the worst of the financial repo-market induced damage is patched up. The USA needs a weak dollar to help exports and to make imports more expensive, helping to 'make America great again' by re-shoring some of the jobs lost to foreign manufacture. So will the dollar win out yet again, or will the real currency of gold become the standard?

Maybe the pound can hit $2 by Christmas as a sign of the UK's economic strength?

All those coffee shops have to open at some point?

think it was 18 months ago when share price Angel advised they expected AAZ to become the highest yielding Gold Producer listed in London.

I agree bravo 100%
POG is still a coin toss until the vote is sorted out
Lots of explorers who will have zero genuine upside if they have no production - they will simply use rise in price of gold to raise more money.

AAZ broker coverage is still behind the curve at £2 target .. they will have to raise their target again shortly as Gold continues to rise way above their assumptions. I expect SPA to do so next week after next RNS.

I have £2.50 as more realistic price with current gold prices … £3+ for sustained prices over $2,000, which I see coming.

Gold should remain in a sweet uptrend for at least the next 9 months, imo

That'll be the HGM holders moving cash to other miners that can still go up. I was very annoyed with the offer there this morning, but a profit is a profit i suppose. I've been looking where to put that margin cash to work this morning (i already hold as many AAZ as i can reasonably justify in terms of margin employed v return). TBH there are not that many that jump out at me. POG looks like it'll go the same way as HGM and i am worried about TSG falling to similar effect due to major shareholder structure. Most of the other 'favourites' of the BBs are early plays that, for me, are overvalued and speculative in the extreme given the requirements to get to production. Right now i'm only left with AAZ, HUM and CEY in my goldie basket.

As was mentioned earlier, perhaps it’s part of the general move where there aren’t going to be that many highly profitable small gold producers left on the London market?

BTC / ARB

If BTC closes above $10,900 tonight (currently $11,200) it will be the second highest monthly close in in its history. Things setting up for a big week on crypto next week IMO.

I remember, not so long ago, a certain poster worrying about whether management were taking full advantage of a gold price spike above $1500. Oh, how we have moved on with gold now knocking on the door of $2000 just a few months later. I'm sure the averages this year will be just fine and the operational gearing at these prices will be massively in our favour with ~$600 AISC. Happy days!

£ rising above $1.31 keeping a lid on GBP gold price which is what matters to us. Dollar falling isn’t doing us much good here at the mo.

Are Anglo actually getting these gold prices? How often are they sending ore to the refineries?
