I think we have to acknowledge that the AAZ management are a lot more competent than 99% (most likely 100%) on this BB. They have made a decision with a lot more information available to them than we have. I trust that it is the right decision.

podgyted - The progress is alot slower than most would have liked and perhaps that's why the share price is going no where. Large holders selling out.

Lets hope we see a decent rebound today with gold significantly higher.

I am not that keen on the JV either, but I'll give it time to see how it develops.

This JV is not the game changer I was hoping for. It looks like a long shot, an outsider at the races. Rather than a sure fire 1/4 shot.

The money involved isn't much so I guess it is worth a punt and the management will have done their DD.

Meantime and I know I've talked about them many times,, TXP in my novice opinion could be a multi-bagger from here,, it'll take some time, but they have really hit the jackpot with the areas they are drilling in and soon will have, as PB put's it, "a wall of cash coming their way"... if the next few drills work out the biggest threat will be a takeover by shell or BP or similar large fish.... all in my humble opinion and I could be completely wrong if a black swan comes along,,,, anyone seen one of those recently, hmm LOL,,, but worth a look & please DYOR as I do not want to lose anyone any money, has to be your own choice,,,, as for me, I'm looking to buy more on the dips now,,, their next set of accounts/numbers for current Oil production at today's Oil price will be dreadful (new wells are GAS), so that may freak some out and they may well raise some more cash and why not,,, it'll be a drop in the ocean in the next couple of years,, so dips will come :-) GLA Cheers Wan :-)

oh and btw, they already have a customer for the GAS as T&T has a shortfall right now and and and this is all onshore stuff, cheap to drill and pipe etc etc :-) GLA

Don't forget Silver now $22.56 .... from my original tip here, IMPACT SILVER IPT is up 220% but as one of the purest silver leveraged stocks on the market, I expect it to still 5 bag from here now the price of Silver has broken out.Just review long term chart to see the possibilities with silver price now massively moving onside.IMHO. Look overnight at the jump in silver. For PXC and the fast track silver mine (Red Star), a price of $22.6/oz would immediately suggest an increase in share price of around 22.3p/share, according to the research made by Hardman, since it has such a direct impact on the project NPV. If good sense were followed, just watch the share price jump today.

Avacta to begin clinical validation of the high throughput COVID-19 laboratory test in collaboration with the UK government CONDOR programme
Avacta Group plc (AIM: AVCT), the developer of Affimer(R) biotherapeutics and reagents, is pleased to announce that it has begun work with the UK government's CONDOR programme to evaluate and clinically validate the high throughput COVID-19 bead-assisted mass spectrometry ("BAMS(TM) ") laboratory assay developed with Adeptrix ( Beverly, MA, USA) .
The COVID-19 National Diagnostic Research and Evaluation Platform (CONDOR), recently funded by the National Institute for Health Research, UK Research and Innovation, Asthma UK and the British Lung Foundation, was created by the UK government to provide a route for evaluating new COVID-19 diagnostic tests in hospitals and in community healthcare settings.
Adeptrix's novel BAMS platform uses Affimer reagents to capture the virus and viral proteins from patient samples and combines this with the power of mass-spectrometry analysis to provide a highly sensitive and specific diagnostic test. Up to 1,000 nasopharyngeal swab or saliva samples per day can be analysed by a single technician using the BAMS assay, making it a very attractive high throughput technique for COVID-19 screening in the clinical setting.
Through the collaboration with the CONDOR scheme, Avacta will be provided access to patient samples and collaborators in UK hospitals to evaluate the performance of the prototype BAMS assay and to conduct the clinical validation study.
The work with the CONDOR programme will commence immediately to evaluate the test performance using real patient samples and will quickly progress to full clinical validation...........

AAZ - having slept on the JV situation and considered all of the comments made about mining in an EU country (and I speak from experience as I came a cropper with ORM and their mine in Spain LOL) I'm of a mind to say,,,, there's every chance with the management team AAZ has in place they can pull it off,, they will have consulted with government on this,,, or be looking to do so before spending a lot of cash,,, we just need to see how they plan to go about this JV and they need to ensure it does not affect the opportunity in AZER... too early for me to make a considered judgement ... I remain a LTH for now :-)

sfs, can't recall if it was me, but I don't think $3000 is out of the question,,, but perhaps for the wrong reasons, not least of which could be youngsters chasing it up on their mobile phone trading accounts etc etc which might not mean it indicates the end of capitalism as we know it,,, but what do I know LOL :-)

Mind you with all the money printing, the dollar is now finally losing ground I hear!!!

Sprott announces intention to buy 8.8% of global silver annual production, the states have just announced a $50bn green energy deal, more solar panels needing more silver, both at a time when mines are/have been closed due to Covid restrictions.

Hmm, what does this do for silver price prospects??!!! Hold those reins hard.
