wan,

STCM - reckon the MM has made their cut on the stake to be offloaded - bid reducing despite all buying

potential signal that they're not too far off clearing the stock?

interesting, Novum steps down (told to take a hike?) at BLOE. Wonder if that was anything to do with the recent placing...

P/E:

(from today's release)
Profit per share attributable to the equity
holders of the parent
Basic (US cents per share) 13 14.32 2.23
Diluted (US cents per share) 13 14.32

Taking a live FX of 1.279, that's 11.2pence per share.

A quick online search appears to show an industry average of 12.7x = 142.2p price target :)

Mad,

The answer to your question is BUR! ;-))

But I hope that improves because I, too, am a holder.

slight thought that maybe one (or both) of the 100k buys could be PMDRs?

Would be nice to have a finish over £1 but if it's not to be there's always tomorrow :)

Now we are a £100M MCap company, some fund managers might be revisiting their portfolios about now, for the CG and the dividends.., Spangles note was good but some of their figures I don’t agree with, none the less a 126p target is a good step forward, and Q2 is only 6 weeks off now, knocking on the door of debt free...!

SB, Hardman are a paid for research outfit but like I say, the four-page note in February was just a teaser and they won't be updating unless AAZ contract with them (Hardman told me this directly)

Well said......that is my understanding as well.

However given these excellent results.....and the future exploration good news and development.....Hardman etc could find a niche.....especially for Insts etc who want to start building a stake .....IMHO

Edit....I Know a big fund manager who had looked at AAZ and had it on it's buy list a year or two ago and then said sell.....I think they may now be re-looking at that recommendation again......

A nice little write-up on Proactive, focusing on the 342% increase in pre-tax profits https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/220396/anglo-asian-mining-s-profits-surge-as-costs-tumble-at-gedabek-220396.html - Andrew Scott tells me he will be interviewing Bill tomorrow

SB, the first Hardman "introductory" note was not commissioned, it was a teaser by Hardman to try and secure AAZ as a client. Whether Bill and the board see value in commissioning Hardman on a retained basis remains to be seen but if not, we will have to rely on the house broker for market forecasts.

looks like there's an update on yesterday's mention sb76, slightly better indicative range though still some way south.

Good afternoon all, had to take a break from the screen/ADVFN AAZ threads, too many positive posts on AAZ :-) LOL,,,, don't get me wrong, bring them on, I just needed to get away and sort my head, get calm again so I can think clearly and not get too carried away with all the euphoria :-) out there... :-) all part of my patience management :-) Cheers Wan :-)

yes SB agreed, 100K trades, don't think I've ever been offered that size before, certainly I've bought in 50K lumps in the past & when I was wanting more and would have taken 100K at the time.... if I'm wrong, no problem, someone correct me/SB, but I certainly don't recall it :-) LOL
