16/5/2019 08:53 | @doc As sb says. Plus as we are at new highs (to all intents and purposes) there will always be a few wanting to cash out but as the highs get ever higher so the proportion of people wanting to cash out will decrease and the rises become more rapid. More and more people eventually catch on to the story for the next couple of years etc. In 14 months we're going to be paid 13c for each share we hold IMO. A fine return. | jbravo2
16/5/2019 08:49 | Good morning to all on here. Great Results from a strong team of professionals. £1.25 will be the next barrier to cross. Now the market will play around the Pound mark for a bit, then we take the next run. Enjoy the ride guys. | terropol
16/5/2019 08:49 | doc, classic spike, retrace and then move reaction to good results | sportbilly1976
16/5/2019 08:48 | just a tad frustrating - with those results should have at least maintained the 10% rise but slow and steady is just fine! | doc_oj
16/5/2019 08:44 | now, with the mkt cap comfortably over £100mln and the results out - we might start seeing some funds actively trying to get some shares...MM games a plenty to come but some good demand for these shares too 120-150p my immediate target here now | sportbilly1976
16/5/2019 08:43 | 4c now and most likely 4c again at the interims … circa 6p for the calendar year. stick that on 25x and that's £1.50 for the fundamentals with still all the potential from the exploration at Gedaek, Gosha, Ugur, Gadir & Ordubad to layer on top. LOM at Gedabek estate until at least 2024 and PSA in our favour until at least 2023. £1.50 minimum price target afaiac … pretty much bob on with forecasts from 2015 but, still the crowd sell for a few £ to spend on beer and skittles. No helping some folk | mattjos
16/5/2019 08:42 | Well, confess to selling a few; just 3k and only because i was offered 104p for those which was too hard to resist. Obviously 4c divi, $541 AISC + $29mn FCF are great headlines! $541 - beating the excellent H1 $543, hence $539/oz for H2 i guess. All this achieved in a year with first Corp Tax paid [$3.6-mn] and a fairly high CAPEX, considerably more than 2017: " Expenditure on property, plant and equipment and mine development was $15.3m (2017: $9.4m). The main items of expenditure in 2018 were capitalisation of deferred stripping costs of the main open pit and the Ugur open pit of $7.2m, the Jaw crusher and associated equipment for the flotation plant of $2.8m, Gadir and Gedabek development of $3.0m and mining and other equipment of $2.3m. Exploration and evaluation expenditure in 2018 of $2.9m (2017: $1.0m) was incurred and capitalised. This arose on exploration at the Gedabek, Gosha and Ordubad contract areas. " Exploration spend bang on budget. Encourages me to think that the 4c divi isn't a 1 off and hoping for 8c for 2019/20. Could even go higher given the FCF might. But i think it's going to be the stream of exploration newsflow that's going to be the primary driver of a rising share price from here. Resources and mine life can only go up; just a matter of how much & how fast. | 2sporrans
16/5/2019 08:38 | Boring to say but worth mentioning that the number of delayed trades means that it is impossible to really know what is going on today. It has all the hallmarks of a spike, retracement and then push on from 9/10am to me. | mad foetus
16/5/2019 08:33 | great that we still have the sell on news brigade here :-) | mattjos
16/5/2019 08:27 | AAZ - on days like this, possibly one of the most important lessons I've learned in my first year of investing is to separate company performance from immediate share price reaction!!!! today AAZ share price could end up higher, lower, the same, who knows, if I were a trader that would matter to me, but as a LTH is matters not,,,, its the results and future that count, the share price will follow, catch-up whatever at some point.... This is the most valuable thing I have learned so far & would feel comfortable in passing on to any newer newbies than myself looking in here :-) forget the share price movements today, look at the numbers, look at the future, consider what you think the POG will be doing, consider any black swan that could happen (difficult to do :-) and then make a decision to invest for the LT,,,,, whilst the story plays out you'll be paid in divi's to just sit on you hands,,,,,or on your sun lounger eh cmb :-) Wan's rule - to be added to JL & WB in the header :-) separate company performance from immediate share price reaction!!!! GLA Cheers Wan | wanobi
16/5/2019 08:23 | Agree. The MMs have always been clueless with AZZ. This is only going one way, just a question of how fast. | loafofbread
16/5/2019 08:18 | thanx cmb, I was just this minute thinking that AAZ will surely have to move out of AIM to the main market if it wants to be taken seriously by the funds and so on,,, but what do I know :-) they certainly have the integrity and discipline to do the extra reporting work required... liquidity might be an issue,,,, share split for me would help,,,, but then what do I know :-) Cheers Wan | wanobi
16/5/2019 08:15 | Wan, I had Pay Safe Group (PAYS). I bought it in the AIM and later on it moved to the FTSE 250,it used to GAP up often and the gaps never closed.I think I have mentioned this to you before. So the fun has started and I think the MM's gaped it up. We will have to wait and see. GLA. | callmebwana
16/5/2019 08:13 | we'll make an investor out of you yet Bumpa :-) cheers Wan | wanobi
16/5/2019 08:12 | Just been on the phone to see what you can do when the price was 103-106 you can buy 25k at 102 and sell 1k at £1. SO MM'S AT THEIR USUAL TRICKS why mark it up so much if can't do anything at that price. Never seen this with other stocks of this value, only penny stocks get that sort of treatment. | cinoib
16/5/2019 08:12 | don't usually say this, but anyone selling AAZ on those numbers is crazy. | bumpa33
16/5/2019 08:09 | All eyes on ordubad and gosha now. Exciting times ahead with a healthy dividend to tide you over while you wait. Onwards and upwards. | mr roper
16/5/2019 08:09 | hope so Mr R hope so :-) cheers Wan | wanobi
16/5/2019 08:08 | Matt, if it isn't over £1 we seriously need another broker. I'm expecting £1.20 (cautious) to £1.50. | podgyted
16/5/2019 08:05 | I'm not being greedy, will be very happy if we can stay firmly above £1. Forever. | mad foetus
16/5/2019 08:04 | Mind that gap :) | jeanesy |
