"It is always better to add to a share that shows underlying improvements than to sell the same. But, each to their own."

Well said.
Ridiculous isn't it? Some people just don't get it.

So, the sell on the news poster are exhausted, who is ready for the next leg up. Will there ever be another buy below £1?

@matt
Couldn't agree more. The chairman's statement is a fantastic read.
Positive after positive.
The numbers backing all this up are astounding.

The current exploration and hints of development at Gosha and Ordubad are juicy enough.
And then we acknowledge we will "aggressively pursue any suitable opportunities outside Azerbaijan which it believes can be made commercially successful."

Just amazing.
Gonna be a hell of a ride.
So looking forward to the AGM

Well, there we are - nothing much to say other than the story just seems to get better. It is always better to add to a share that shows underlying improvements than to sell the same. But, each to their own.

If only one new institution were to add its name to the register, I firmly believe that in the eyes of many the perceived risk profile of this Co. would change overnight.

I do wonder if the hopeless share price Angel will alter their targets to properly reflect the potential here. They seem to have targets of multiples for many other duds they cover, yet one of the few decent outfits they have they seem keen to be cynical about. Not that it matters in the long term, everything reverts to value eventually.

"We recently announced a new discovery within Gosha at the Asrikchay target area.
This polymetallic discovery is exciting as it is the first indication of copper in the region.
We have a track record of rapidly advancing discoveries as evidenced by Ugur, which progressed from discovery to production in just over a year, and we are confident that we can replicate this approach with any future discoveries."

A hint that this might be fast tracked into production maybe?

the level of professionalism in the news releases from the company is absolutely superb now. They have very clearly listened to all the feedback from their investors over last couple of years.

AAZ now the AIM benchmark, as far as i am concerned, as to how to present communications to the market.

Will re-read at leisure later this eve but, first blush, this is an exceptional RNS

I'm not selling but am delighted when others trade. We need volume and liquidity. I am just wondering how I managed to buy some on a spread bet at 68p a few weeks ago (and why I didn't buy more!)

Great set of results, but we knew that was going to be the case.

On the valuation then the market is obviously discounting due to the 'short' LoM to 2024. Yes, we all know that this will likely be increased and there are new prospects to be developed, but the market can often be an ass. I would expect a valuation on a metric of 10x FCF, maybe slightly discounted. That also gives little in-the-ground carrying value to the wide portfolio that AAZ have.

For 2019, the FCF will rise to something near $40m after capex and the top-slice of revenues to the government. That gives a nice uplift to the probable dividend for 2019 (as high as 9c) as well as building a cashpile to fund development of new mines from internal cashflow.

You cannot ask for much more from a small miner. :-)

Wan, quality always wins, that is what we have in AAZ.Not only appreciation in share price but also an income. The daily gyrations in the share price is irrelevant to me. I don't want to trade this share, the spread makes it difficult enough anyway.
Mine life will extend, resource will go up,etc etc. One day AAZ will be bought out,at what price then ?? Do I want to be trading and be caught out?? No, is my answer.
I used to rent an apartment, all the hassle I used to get from the tenants !!
Well, I sold it and put the money into AAZ,the divi gives me better income and less TAX to pay, as I have a fair few shares in my ISA. What more can I ask for??

Well, it was only a very small trade Cinoib; i have net bought several times that just in the past few months; sold some on upsurges, bought back + yet more on the dips as increased portfolio weighting.
I recall you saying you [used to?] trade roughly 20% around an 80% core; guess i've been close to that past 6 months.

Yeah, some will say accumulate only, don't try and finesse by trading; especially now there's a fat dividend.
In any case, in holding a high% core and progressively raising holding over time, buying dips, one is pretty much doing this.
Each to their own and best of luck all.
I've no regrets with how i've played this other than wishing I'd had the cajones to come back in early 2016 [been in since 2009 but very lean since 2012, until 2016] with a far higher initial build when the share price was ground down to well under 10p, low of 4p [high debt => losses +Bashirov exacerbated]. And again on a sell off down from 20s to 15p when main pit and Gadir put on hold for remodelling/development while Ugur fast tracked into production and production sustained for 3 Qtrs off stockpiles.
I didn't have enough confidence in the AAZ management and what they said they were trying to achieve to put in more than about 5% of my [very diverse and largely income generating] portfolio.
The management really have proved to be exceptional, not least in honesty/transparency, for sure for an AIM mining company.

Odd that there are no delayed trades being reported. Let's see how this pans out. Doubling every 12 months will suit me

At $0.08/0.09 dividend for FY2019 this just got more attractive didn't it.. :o), 0.10/.011 for 2020 etc.. with the YoY FCF growth, and if POG takes off it's going to get really exciting..!

nice note in the release about increasing the corporate presence and roadshows sparking interest...this plus the "buy on the open market" comment in his recent interview clearly shows that whilst they welcome institutional interest, they aren't going to bow down and offer them favourable terms.

On the back of today's news - a few meetings might well be had with the result of shares being bought steadily to get an initial stake...a couple of just 3-5% holdings will give a very healthy push to the sp

I dare say the early trading is just people playing the price, no doubt some setting a 'take profits' at 100p, but anyone who takes the trouble to read through the rns will see the exceptional quality of the operation and, the future value in the exploration finds. Traders will trade and that's fine, but income seeking, risk averse investors will be hard put to find something that matches AAZ.
