Morning all. Last year the company released their own reserves update pre Jorc. Do we think they may do this again? Now moving into a time frame of lots of possible excellent news arriving in the very short term. I expect this to crack 50p this week. Once the 2017 full year data is released and hopefully backed up by some good exploration results this could go on a long sustained run north. Just for balance I would post some negatives but I am truly struggling to find any. GLA

Could only be a week until results. Would expect more buying leading up to them.

Yep, also agree with Matt. AG will take out aam eventually. Not only would they get all the plant and ground but one of the biggest plus being all the trained staff.

Maybe AAZ should undertake a large exploration project to prove up the resource?

I'm with you matt, I'd bet a lot of money that won't happen.

Have you seen how they're setting up catsick?
They have a large cost base. Lots of chiefs. And they're going to produce another 32koz this year. Yes that's it. 32koz.
They could do with some real scale sometime soon.

I'd be very, very surprised at that outcome. Can't see that at all catsick

I dont think aaz will get taken out, the jorc numbers are too low, I think its much more likely if anything they end up doing a deal like the one chaarat are trying to do and consolidate azergold into a uk listed multi mine conglomerate and then get the premium listing so we dont have to have these insane spreads and zero ability to get prices in any real size ...

Not at all, I would have thought the buying is a result of last weeks presentation or the meetings in London. Am sure Azergold will buy AAZ though.

jbe81, not starting a buy out rumour? :¬) Somebody else must be feeding the market, the through put for this is quite high but the price doesn't seem to want to move up.

Yes the buyer has become bolder again recently. He's buying more quickly as the supply was starting to dry up.
Most of those 46.4 trades were sells and are no doubt going to be passed to a nice new home.
I'm still sure AG would like to own this.
They have a chance to let the price slide this afternoon with the lack of competition from us pesky PI's.
