10/5/2018 07:50 | Thanks Matt, having been invested since 2009 with a relatively modest holding I appreciate your efforts. Just wish I'd sold and re-bought a few times in the last nine years! Still here though, onwards and upwards. | henwii
09/5/2018 23:51 | Thread header now working correctly! all the buttons and links are back visible and active & the fundamental data feed, news and charts all now working correctly. Apologies it slipped recently (mea culpa) but, for all existing and new investors, please have a look and let me know if there any omissions you would like included. | mattjos
09/5/2018 23:41 | Cheers Matt your doing a sterling job re the board and content. | bleepy
09/5/2018 22:15 | Yes, that's it ape-man :) | homebrewruss
09/5/2018 22:10 | By being spelt out are you refering to the massive tax breaks for at least the next 5 years :-) | return_of_the_apeman
09/5/2018 22:02 | Yes, I remember exchanging emails with Leon Boros. I could not join them when they visited Gedabek in 2011 as was in Singapore at the time. BA wanted £1,500 to alter my tickets! Robbing swine. He visited with, amongst others, fundfemale ...... Fundfemale, if you are lurking, I hope you remain heavily invested here and enjoying the long-overdue route to what will be well over £1 valuation, if not ultimately £3+ (First bumped into Leon Boros when we were both invested in China Shoto (CHNS) .... I visited that company around 2009 in China and shared around photos and feedback from my visit with the CEO ... share price rapidly advanced 50%, after my visit report gave PI's confidence that it was so clearly a tangible profitable & growing battery manufacturer in China with terrific prospects. Despite the rise, it remained so poorly valued that the CEO eventually bought the shareholders out off the AIM market and took it private ... completely disillusioned with stupidly cheap valuation the market gave his company as compared to the likes of Exide (with whom they competed very well on battery spec & performance). CHNS was (like WCC) one of the only genuine Chinese companies that came to the AIM market ... all the rest were proven to be frauds. CHNS was a bit of an oddball on AIM as there were no UK listed peers with whom to benchmark its valuation so, it did struggle to get 'heard' & understood .. whereas with AAZ, there is a sensible and obvious UK peer group which may easily be used to benchmark the valuation. Chipperford's CHIP thread is a good start point for those wanting to do any such analysis & he has both highlighted the valuation anomaly himself and has personally invested here at around the 30p level also. Fwiw, I have been in touch with Reza and am still hoping to get to Gedabek end May / start June ... respective diaries permitting. Reza has been very willing to host a visit. | mattjos
09/5/2018 21:28 | Leon boros put me onto AAZ a couple of years ago when he was asking questions on this thread. He didn't invest at the time due to concerns over the PSA apparently: I'm sure this has put others off too but hopefully not now it's being spelt out in the latest presentations | homebrewruss
09/5/2018 21:16 | Just seen this Nice start to the week :) | jeanesy
09/5/2018 19:33 | Apologies all the thread header info is not working correctly .. have raised it with ADVFN and they have to 'whitelist' the image ghosting service i use .... quite why, when it has worked for last 2 years, I have no idea. | mattjos
09/5/2018 18:46 | tremendous day, seems significant in terms of trend and new highs. can't see why it can't continue over 50p | gutterhead
09/5/2018 17:37 | God bless him :) | jbravo2
09/5/2018 17:30 | Great day today & now through the Jan 18 highs & also a 5 year closing daily high today with rising volumes. 3rd Feb 2013 was last time this closed at or above this price point. some noticeable previous volumes at the 55p level back in October 2012 but, after that, no real historical volume congestion until we reach the 80p level. Been a long time coming but, for some of us here, today marks a 10 fold increase on some stock bought during 2015 & early 2016. Cheers Basher! | mattjos
09/5/2018 16:03 | Just 10,000 shrs on offer now at 47p, bodes well for the auction after close | return_of_the_apeman
09/5/2018 13:55 | Slowly working its way through more stock at higher prices in the auction. Once the auction is clear should fly. | jbe81
09/5/2018 12:53 | As an 'annex' comment to the above, relevant to AAZ and Ordubad in particular: Note the dependency of Ordubad [Nakhchivan] upon road links: a. To SE Turkey via a long, narrow corridor flanking the Armenian border. b. Via Iran, a very long way around to the main territory of Azerbaijan. Guess go via Tabriz. | 2sporrans
09/5/2018 10:12 | PWC must be lingering over their coffee, where's that 50k dump? Mattjos, Solg is not a fair comparison to AAZ, it's copper focused and currently intent on proving up many millions of tons in just one property out of about 70. It needs to sell that first property to have the funds to exploit the others. I see PLZL as a comparative although on a very much bigger scale, but despite Trump driving away USA investors and the operations being in remote parts of Siberia it is still on a pe of 6.5. AAZ looks absurdly cheap against just about anything in the mining sector. Eventually some figures will come out and perhaps holders will finally get the long overdue rerate? | lefrene
09/5/2018 09:48 | Above 45p where it belongs at last. | edjge2
09/5/2018 09:17 | For the benefit of the new faces This will be gross profit after AISC, it does not include the 12.5% to be paid to the govt under the PSA I expect the 81k GEO figure to be beaten by around 20% given the 1st qtr output and new crusher that is about to come online Hi Bill, Hope you are well, I will try my best to keep this brief as I am sure you are a very busy person As an investor,I am confused as to why your broker has not increased their share price target for your company given the utterly fantastic progress you are making Using the following simple calculation, I believe the market has massively undervalued your company Gold price average for Jan/Feb $1333 - AISC $564 = $769 per oz Mid range if this year's projected output is 81,000 oz $769 x 81k = over $62million So by the simple calculations above that is more output than your current MCAP of $61.23million this year! I note from your RNS today that one of your goals is to extend mine life to over 10 years so I guess an important factor in the valuation of your company is NPV I am going to attempt to calculate your NPV (I am a bit new to investing in mining companies) however I would be extremely grateful if you provided me with a rough figure so I can cross check my calculations I have written to your broker asking why they have not provided an upgrade note for some time, hopefully you share my belief that they may be they should be doing so Keep up the great work, I am very please with my initial investment, even though it is currently a little down on paper, I look to hold for many years to come With kind regards Paul Paul It’s always good to hear from shareholders and thanks for the kind words. To calculate a NPV using our future cash flows is regarded as the most valid method of valuing any/our business and something we regularly do. Unfortunately, It would not be appropriate for me to share with you the results other than to say we agree with your comment regarding the current market valuation! Valuing ounces in the ground is another way to value us and obviously the more we have the higher our valuation. We believe we have some highly prospective territory –so keeping our fingers crossed.. With regard to our broker – we are working with him to hopefully have a new broker update out soon. Kind regards Bill From: Sent: Tuesday, March 13, 2018 11:09 AM To: Bill Morgan Subject: Broker Upgrade and NPV Show quoted text Hi Bill, Many thanks for taking the time out to reply Your response has been greatly appreciated Kind regards | return_of_the_apeman
09/5/2018 09:11 | Chart poised for a breakout here - fundamentally and technically appears in good shape... | yasx
09/5/2018 08:51 | Nice to see some new faces here. | jbe81
09/5/2018 08:46 | I strongly believe this share will do a HOC type move once further updates are released and the debt is completely cleared in the next few months - that went from 50p to 300p in a straight line | supercity
09/5/2018 08:45 | Good start to the day. 2sporrans - re your 12832 post re Armenia /Russia this is a good ( and short ) background piece written early this month by Emil Avdaliani who teaches history and international relations at Tbilisi State University and Ilia State University on some of the dynamics in that relationship and of course Azerbaijan features in that mix. | friendzarin |
