Not bothered about the selling; bring on even better bargains.

Guess a fair few of the sellers will be reducing exposure to Gold via miner shares as their optimism as to the upward trajectory of the POG may be rather diluted just of late.
Like.....El Dud ceased posting here [regrettably]; was it 2 or 3 weeks back?
He frequently posted about the POG and it was clearly guiding his investment/trading decisions here more than the long term stalwarts.
If he's not sold out, expect he's sold down hard.
Sure he'll correct me if that's not the case.
Come to think of it, Zhockey was essentially a Gold and Copper bear - for 2017 leastways.

For me, a great +ve of AAZ is that it will still be undervalued even if the POG drops as low as $1,100/oz. Maybe a fair bit lower than that if it keeps its AISC below $600/oz.

Another reason for the selling may be that the smaller gold miners aren't eliciting a huge amount of investor enthusiasm on the LSE and AIM 'ambience' + volatility will be amplified, marked by a tendency of folk to dive in and duck out of such as AAZ when they have profits to bank.
This may well prove a bonus for investors here....and not necessarily only the very patient, long term ones.
Just been reading this, making case in point:

"......in the early years, they may struggle to balance the heavy spending needed to get mines up and running with a lack of revenue, meaning some need regular capital injections."

Ain't that the truth?
And those early years may extend to a decade; more and indefinitely if extractable, quality reserves never big up.
Rather applied to AAZ, especially 2013-16.
Yet, the AAZ share pool has experienced minimal dilution and looks a good bet to stay that way.
This may have eluded many potential investors in AAZ; the schilling may yet drop.

As for Condor Gold, well maybe it will soar Phoenix like or prove more of an Albatross for its sailors, regardless of wherever it is listed.

Now, what's down there, deep in the bowels of the main pit?
That's what we need to know.
The scent of a revaluation is in the air.

Can’t see expected news later than Thurs/Fri of this week unless Aaz have other news to release beforehand. See no other reason for delaying ops/explor update any further.

May go lower still . Not certain we are going to get any news soon. With POG now firmly below 1300, some are looking to protect profits despite the bigger picture here. May get a chance to top up after all at a better price !

Same here, not nervous at all.
The company is stronger than its ever been.
You don't separate production from operations for no reason at all.

I'm thinking why I would do it and the only possible explanation would be for separate news flow that was positive.

Nervous?
Not in the slightest.
Sense of anticipation though?
Most definitely.

It’s a sensitive time and you can sense the nervousness here after such a positive few weeks.
If August 2010 replays itself with two upward surges, we will be happy.
In the meantime, we just need to be patient.
Good luck all

With gold still very comfortably over $1,200 / oz and the current production levels, 25p would seem a wholly inappropriate valuation.

Chart or no chart ... its abundantly clear to all that the Q3 update was very specifically titled Q3 Production update. The Operations update was entirely absent from that RNS.

There is more near-term news to come from the company & I imagine it is going to be filled with a load of information across several Operational fronts.
Feels like August 2010 all over again

I have no in depth knowledge of charting although I respect the analysis that you have given Matt over the last 12 months which has been accurate and is still in play.

However I do think that low volumes allied to a lack of news are not good for the short term.

I hope that the updates the company undoubtedly has and are able to make come soon as we risk losing momentum and may drop back meaning the next move upwards from there may be less than we might expect.
These shares are so tightly held with many having already bought on expectation we need new investors to create a surge ( whether it be your infamous herd Matt or whatever )

I hope catsick was jesting with his 25p but please just let’s not go there.

bravo .. charts usually do form triangulation patterns that centre on key future dates.
There are plenty of TA Traders that will attempt to trade such patterns - albeit usually in much more liquid stocks.
The longer term pattern is clear for all too see but, short term, the chart is suggesting there is an expectation for something to come out tomorrow.
Only tomorrow will give us the answer to this particular pattern :-)

Needs something though as trading volume is nigh on zero .... to me that suggests the market has the willingness to buy if it drops and also to buy if/as/when it breaks to the upside ... in the absence of movement in either direction & in the absence of any news, it simple sits still and volume vanishes

Everyone can see it's a great chart. Perched at recent time highs and waiting big news.
Agreed.
But now a chart can predict that this is going to arrive tomorrow?
Well you know I'm doubtful of some of this chart stuff and this is a prime example. I'll have a bet with you no "catalytic news item" arrives tomorrow.

gutterhead .. chart is very simple.
Poised on the cusp of a breakout & & awaiting 'a volume event' of some description or other.

Good news and it should power higher .. bad news and obviously the opposite will occur.

Technically there is a small triangulation on the chart with an Apex centred on tomorrow so, that is when I am expecting to see the catalytic news item

Anyone have good knowledge regarding BCG (bit coin gold)

Bitcoin is over 4k, how do you get one for one?

Do I have bitcoin gold?

All bitcoin owners will receive the cryptocurrency at a rate of 1 BTC to 1 BTG, setting the stage for possible market activity.

But, that's not to say it's totally intuitive to retrieve.

One quirk is that it'll be easier to redeem the funds from wallets or exchanges that recognize the cryptocurrency. The easiest way, then, to retrieve the bitcoin gold is to move bitcoin to a wallet or exchange that supports bitcoin gold, or to hold bitcoin in a wallet where you own your private keys (rather than holding them with an exchange).

To date, 20 exchanges and wallets promise to support bitcoin gold once it launches, according to the project's website.

Great to read of planned and ongoing exploration at Gosha, another of Aaz’s working mines. We have not heard a lot of Gosha recently. High grade gold veins have been evident since start of production, let’s hope for more of the same.
The fast track of Ugur from exploration to production, ongoing exploration of Gadir, Gedabek open pit and deep pit are a testament of Stephen Westhead since joining.
We also have exploration at Bittibulag and a.n.other that Westhead might have in his sights.
Update expected anytime...
