Harkening back to the 5th October and that article 'leaking', amongst other revelations, this:
".....Further work is ongoing to plan the extraction of the push back of the high-wall to allow mining to continue in the pit for around another seven years in addition to the two or three which are currently accessible."

With reference to today's presentation and page 8 aerial view of the main pit + vicinity, would some kind poster clarify for me as to where the high-wall is situated?

I'm noting that Gadir lies to the North.
The town is to the East and South; not a few houses close to the pit boundary, a few maybe within 100m.
Potential need to buy the land + properties?

No big deal in context of 9-10 years of continued open pit mining; there's plenty time to plan and execute the extension.
Just curious.

its a pretty simple chart pattern right now ... & unsurprisingly very little buying required at/below the line to see then price move upwards.

folk don't seem to have any patience. The price drop was insignificant and they never really dropped the price at which you can buy the stock anyway.

Stock is extremely thin above 34p.
Small volumes will move it up, or down, quite quickly.
They accumulated a little from the move up and down this week but its still far from the volumes supporting under 30p.

I must admit I thought there would have been less than a week between the Q3 production and Operations update, considering they were released together previously

Happy to wait a few extra days though to get a good one!

It's minor (miner!?) news though lets be honest matt.
The tidbits of extra stuff that haven't been seen before are certainly known about by the most informed on this thread already.
Anyone unaware certainly wouldn't see that presentation for the first time and think, "oh thats an interesting map/mine diagram, I'll invest"

You need far more obvious signposts for that.
The Q3 update was fine.
The next will be something like, ops update, exploration update, refinancing news.
Thats the sort of stuff some of the more challenged of the investing community understand.

If the colour blue signifies Gadir style ore then it’s no wonder they have driven that tunnel toward Gedabek. Probably ops and dev rns will give more detail and potential.

I note Bittibulag has a big black blob on map.

Yes, more detail on pages 14 and 17 as noted by Matt and JBravo.

Never seen the Gadir->Main pit tunnel [4*4m !] depicted like that. Like to know what the wee side passages are for [apart from vehicle manouveres] and even more curious as to what the coloured blocks - esp. below main pit, where tunnel ends, in the bottom right diagram represent.
Given the bigger black blobs signify important resource, wonder what/when is planned for Ertepe and Maarif.

Page 17 is nicer.
Not quite seen that version before have we?
Seems to have a little more detail on it.
I wonder if we'll hear any news about one of the other belts sometime soon?
:)

@terropol. Yes the MM's must be quite content to let time bore a few more out.

(you can see the mkt response to SYM today to see how the likelihood of future dividends is treated.)

We should be in a position next year to give a maiden dividend. Repayment of Reza's loan will be required first though

British Ambassador to Azerbaijan visits Gedabek

New Presentation on Company web-site

Anglo Asian Mining plc ("Anglo Asian" or "the Company"), the AIM listed gold, copper and silver producer focused in Azerbaijan, is pleased to announce the recent visit by representatives of the British Embassy in Azerbaijan to its Gedabek gold, copper and silver mine. A presentation was made to the British Ambassador, Dr Carole Crofts and the Head of the Department for International Trade, Mr Steven Smith. The presentation can be found on the Company's website at the following link

Anglo Asian Mining is the largest mining investor in Azerbaijan, the second largest British investor in Azerbaijan (after British Petroleum) and the only London stock exchange listed business which operates exclusively in Azerbaijan. During the visit, ongoing and future business relations between British companies and Azerbaijan International Mining Company (AIMC), the wholly owned subsidiary of Anglo Asian Mining, which operates the mining and processing facilities in Azerbaijan were discussed.

Following the presentation to the representatives of the British Embassy in Azerbaijan which included presenting the many corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects in the local community and contribution of the Company to the Azerbaijan economy, the delegation was given a tour of the Gedabek contract area mines and processing facilities. This included a visit to the Company's newly opened Ugur Mine which has already had a positive impact on Anglo Asian's gold production since mining commenced in September 2017.

Anglo Asian CEO Reza Vaziri commented: "It was a great pleasure to host the British Ambassador and her colleagues at the Gedabek mine site. We look forward to continuing our excellent relationship with the British Embassy with a view to further contributing to the ongoing mutual benefit of the association between Britain and Azerbaijan."
