If the mineable resource is far larger, with better recoverable grades , easier to access and transport to market than the PEA estimated then the NPV the company say is currently $270m at spot will be far greater whilst the up front development cost will be roughly the same. Northern copper zone could double the indicated resource and we could be looking at $500m NPV with the latest data incorporated still with a relatively modest upfront cost and very deliverable within a short time frame.I agree with Calmtrader if somewhat wants Parys they will have to pay well above current market cap.

You'd have to ask his son in law, Brendan Cahill, or Danesh Varma - I doubt that JFK can talk or walk any more.

JK wasn't voted off by Juno and any bid by JK wouldn't succeed unless it was North of 10p a share (just for Parys). The results from the drilling on NCZ ( first hole assays results s/be end of Jan) will completely change the value of this project and serious investors are waking up to how far advanced this project is..and it's true value

This is an excellent report and a reminder of the value in Grängesberg "Understanding the high-grade iron ore market" It is some two years old, but still very informative.

The 12 month high is 2.9p but the 24 month high is 4.4p so I suspect an offer pitched around 5p a share would take out the retail holders.

You know bids for companies always occur near market bottom and when recovery is in the headlights.

So yes AYM could be about to receive an offer, maybe a statement on Monday ??

Just 100k of shares sitting below offer then it is 1.75p+

Volume is the clue, something is going on for sure.

This is no P&D, I am expecting an offer for the company brokered by Varma (Juno) & Energold (Kearney) both former directors, partly financed by a lead bank.

They would secure retail support around 4p/5p a share IMO.

You do not get a 20% stake change, directors leaving, analyst group visits (for diligence purposes) + a number of 1m+ on market purchases without foundation.

The company may be forced into a statement, the under valued nature of Anglesey is chronic, a sitting duck target.

Do your own research etc.

Recent large buys include 1m @1.6p 1.2m @1.6p and now 750k @ 1.7p

You do not get on market buys in a illiquid stock like this without reason, suggests someone knows something.

Was the 20.5% stake change a catalyst.

Can confirm there is next to nothing available online, I do wonder if this is going to materially re-rate given the excellent drill cores, it looks like Anglesey may be sitting on a very high grade copper system.

Those analysts were very excited and lab news is eagerly awaited.

This could quickly turn from a £6m m/cap to £60m+ if it starts attracting real 3rd party financing and/or investment interest by way of a JV or bid approach.

1.75p now being asked for £3k worth.

A premium being asked for just £3.5k of shares currently.

Would not rule out a large background buyer.

The recent analyst visit by multiple parties has placed AYM on the map, there are some very big hitters looking at this as an investment proposition hence recent 1m+ buys.

Alan Green suggested that AYM was worth 4 times the current market value just based on Parys Mountain alone, enough said.

You cannot rule out some form of commercial activity either - direct sale, IPO or even bringing in a significant JV partner, all possible.

Do not miss the re-rate, it's from exceptionally low levels.

All IMO & DYOR etc.

While we watch the price slowly creep up ...

Has anyone here read about the 1000m of mine tunnels dug out from the bottom of the Morris shaft and wondered where they go? This was back in 1988-1990 when 2000 tons of ore were raised to be tested in a pilot plant. This was just before the recession when metals prices collapsed, causing plans to move up from pilot scale to be shelved.

I found a 2001 paper about the geology of Parys Mountain which shows where the tunnels go (page 1294). The rest of the paper is about the geology, and underpins the diagrams you see in the latest presentations (though those have the benefit of further drilling).

or search for "Volcanic Sequence and Alteration at the Parys Mountain Volcanic-Hosted Massive Sulfide Deposit"
