09/12/2023 10:46 | Will be an interesting watch, probably move the share price on Monday | benjamin15
09/12/2023 08:37 | On the AYM website they list the existing projects then state "Anglesey is also actively reviewing other compatible base metal projects suitable for incorporation into the Anglesey Group." With all the current news could a merger or an RTO about to be taking place. Maybe the move into AIM was to help facilitate such a move. Also the title "Committed to sustainable mining in the 21st Century" sounds very grand for what is in reality currently quite a small exploration company. This title sounds more like the words of a company like AngloAmerican see , with it's Woodsmith polyhalite mine in England's, North York Moors, if they became involved it would be a dream come true. Certainly AYM do hold the key to some large resources, particularly Grängesberg Iron, Apatite, REE and certain companies do like fertilisers. And the proximity of Parys Mt to the sea could also facilitate a low impact mine design like Woodsmith. Just some more of my thoughts and dreams, but probably totally wrong. No investment advice intended. DYOR. | hyperal

08/12/2023 16:23 | There's a pod cast out/coming out from StockBox Media on AYM | calmtrader
08/12/2023 16:22 | I am mindful to contact the Nomad unless there is some clarity on what was paid for the 20% stake in the company, how can this not be deemed price sensitive. The points raised by others, in as much that both the buyer and seller, both former directors, would be at an advantage to outside shareholders are very valid. For what it is worth I believe Anglesey will be subject to outright takeover or some other form of corporate event, a break up comes to mind. Needless to say any corporate move would need to be far higher than the current share price to succeed. I feel news will soon be released which should establish all the details and reasons behind the ongoing changes at BOD level. | mininglamp

08/12/2023 12:50 | I bought a couple of hundred yesterday for fun after the change of ownership of 20% of the company was announced they were offered well below the ask and there seemed little interest..maybe there will be some trades showing later that explain the nudge up? | kooba
08/12/2023 12:47 | On naff all trades, something is definitely going on with this, answers on a postcard | benjamin15
08/12/2023 12:42 | Stock suddenly well bid | calmtrader
08/12/2023 10:05 | I believe that since these two parties were recently directors of the listed company and could be deemed to have information not in the public domain there should be full disclosure of the terms of the transaction. They are both also still directors of companies the company has investments in or are co investors in these companies..again this puts them in a different position than ordinary shareholders as they might well have conflicts of interest unaligned to other shareholders. As always with anything to do with the old guard there is no independence , transparency and potentially many conflicts with external interests. | kooba
08/12/2023 08:31 | At the moment it is undisclosed what price was paid or whether it was some convoluted agreement around their many other overlapping mining interests so there maybe is no market transaction as yet. If he did want to take it over he would have to match the highest market purchase in a cash offer to all shareholders for a 12 month period I believe under the takeover code.I'm unsure of JK intensions but clearly he must have some ...but he will not be able to throw much weight around as the majority of shareholders who voted at the last AGM don't want him involved in running the company after over two decades of trying. | kooba
08/12/2023 08:22 | Will be interesting to see if JK try's to buy stock in the open market | calmtrader
07/12/2023 15:41 | I don't believe that they have been caught off guard, | pigeons
07/12/2023 15:21 | One suspects this move has caught the company off-guard. I have suggested for some time now there appears to be a undercurrent of corporate activity ahead at AYM. For example why have they not increased their 49% stake in Grangesburg to 100% as implied they would do in Q1. Why has the CEO of More Acquisitions acquired a 4% stake in AYM, they are seeking a new takeover target following their failed £50m attempt to acquire Megasteel. 20% stake acquired by Energold Inc today. Recent director resignations suggest a new team coming in. Analyst site visits a few days ago All will be revealed shortly. | mininglamp
07/12/2023 15:04 | If AYM was such a great investment then why has Varma dumped it at a loss after holding for many years? | trader465
07/12/2023 15:00 | Not sure how the company cannot comment over a 20.5% stake change, for example who the new owners are, what are their intentions, what price was paid for the shares. It seems the seller (Juno) bought their shares at far higher levels. The break up value of Anglesey appears to be multiples of the £6m market value. The plot seems to be thickening here. | m1sterx
07/12/2023 13:47 | The site visit further underlines something is going on behind the scenes IMO, I don't think the market has latched on to the various goings at AYM from a corporate perspective. It is only a matter of time before we find out. | mininglamp
07/12/2023 12:40 | One ex non executive director buying , another ex executive finance director selling..the motivations for either transaction unknown.Varma family through Juno has indeed held for decades..why sell now and at what price? Kearney may be miffed at getting voted off , but Juno's holding didn't help him much on the last AGM vote so unlikely can get himself voted back on using it.Presume there is a plan ..but unfortunately i don't trust Kearney to deliver anything much for shareholders and if he tried to gain control without offering a very significant premium i would vote against any GM resolutions. | kooba
07/12/2023 12:03 | At what price??? We are currently on our knees share price levels | benjamin15 |
