Speadex presumably on behalf of a client now has over 5% in equity and instruments having increased holding on MondayTotal holding 5.2435%Representing 22027617 sharesI have seen similar announcements followed by disclosure of the underlying beneficial owner following.See serial investor Richard Griffiths who uses Spreadex and De La Rue.

The underlying share price is still quite strong, they are asking full offer for just 50,000 shares (£800)

The chart gap from May to 1.95p is as wide as a barn door, once through that you have very little resistance to 2.4p.

The stock traded at 4.4p in June 2022.

If there is something incoming , it seems unlikely anything ( as usual) over the pond..so my guess is a Grangesberg corporate development or something more to do with the shareholder or board structure.

Second biggest riser on the day in London..small comment no real clues!Anglesey Mining [LON:AYM] added 38% on the day amidst sharply elevated trading volumes. There's no news here and although the stock has recovered losses incurred over the last couple of months, it did close on a spread in excess of 7%. Can anyone remember in a interview in Q1 the CEO said they would shortly build their stake in Grängesberg to 100% and then he suggested it could be IPO'ed, sold or bring in a JV partner.

The CEO suggested it would be easy to gather the remaining 51% but this has not happened.

My bet is todays rise and more importantly high volume suggests something is brewing concerning this Iron Ore project which has significant value.

Maybe AYM are going to sell their 49% stake ??

Thanks for the link. I think most investors have lost the plot, OK Anglesey has some value, but when we gain full control and/or find a partner for the Swedish Iron, Apatite, REE deposit then things will get very exciting. Maybe something is stirring now on that front.

Online limits are still quite low to the buy side, the few sells seem to have been absorbed, only around £5k at offer price currently then it goes to a premium.

Well it's certainly an interesting move ..not likely to be Parys directly as there is ongoing drilling so timing not right . Could be one of the iron ore assets i guess or could be there is a stake changing hands or new board being formed with some serious players onboarding. With today's move they will be asked to come clean if there are developments that could be impacting the price.

Worth noting there is a chart gap to fill to 1.95p from May.

As for the P&D theorists only 2 posts on Twitter related to AYM recently, so not likely.

Been oversold imo... still cheap as chips opportunistic Buying, but no smoke without fire!! GLA holders on this long road.
