Surprised at the non-reaction to today's RNS

Presumably known/expected by many?

From another site:

Am I the only person who thinks that the best way to find out what's happening is ask the Company rather than speculating? They have told me this morning that Valentina Slater has been raising money to buy property and has now finished and will not be selling any more shares for the foreseeable future.

Sounds plausible enough.

I'm not sure it is. There's literally no overhang. NT for decent amounts and RSP showing premiums for any size. Which is why I wonder if she's offloaded to someone directly

Selling at basically all time lows too. Looks like the 50s will be arriving today

Zeus Capital today...

 Valuation: Anexo trades on an FY24E EV/EBITDA (inc. lease liabilities) of 3.2x and a P/E of 3.8x with a prospective dividend yield of 2.6% based on a conservative c.10% payout ratio of adj. EPS.
Our forecasts do not assume any benefit from the ongoing Emissions Claims, despite Mercedes having already paid-out in the United States. Agreement in Group Litigation Action currently ongoing would result in additional material cash inflows in 2024/2025.

If she needs cash, she might now have raised enough. If she plans to leave one imagines the selling will continue.

Of all the times to sell this looks a bit strange. Exiting the company or taking advantage of a bounce?

could it just be that she is skint? direct accident management accounts at companies house don't make great reading

Sorry, my mistake! Obviously it’s unusual for Directors/PDMRs to sell large chunks of their holdings, and be given authorization to do so. But they do typically sell up once departed. So I wonder if that is on the agenda?

The PDMR selling is not the FD. . .Putting me off buying back in to say the least

Not a shareholder currently. Found this company via Oak Bloke. Isn’t it possible that the FD is on the way out? It need not be a reflection of the business.

Just read the ST tip in I/C .
Looks a reasonable punt to me especially after this mornings RNS.

And I liked his last few paras ..

Bearing this in mind, as more investors cotton onto the capital recycling, the debt reduction programme and the changing mix in the group’s income stream, they are likely to reassess Anexo’s risk profile in a more positive light. For instance, Zeus’s 2024 year-end net debt estimate of £56.6mn could be slashed to less than £50mn in the event of a successful settlement with Mercedes-Benz on behalf of its 12,000 claimants.

Cutting borrowings transfers more of the economic interest in the entity from debt to equity holders, a factor that is certainly not reflected in the huge share price discount to book value nor the price/earnings (PE) ratio of 4.4.
There is also the chance that 28.5 per cent shareholder DBay may attempt to buy out minority shareholders, as it has done recently by taking another investee company private, food manufacturer Finsbury Foods. Of course, it would need the support of the directors who own 35 per cent of the 118mn shares in issue, but that is entirely possible.

my own view is that these people tend to have the ability to find capital for property etc without selling their stock at what? sub 3x earnings and the lowest absolute/relative valuation in history...would be understandable if no other directors buying but no one will convince me that this is just par for the course to see a whopping sale at these levels from someone who is probably richer than the average punter.

a shame and sad that we have lost all the recent gains.

Odd - if the prospects are so good, why did a PMDR dump almost a million shares on the market?
