30/8/2022 05:29 | Debt is it. | p1nkfish
30/8/2022 03:40 | The only valid reason I can see for not owning this company is the lack of free cash flow. However, analyst are forecasting that to be positive over the coming couple of years. Outside of that I would have thought they are to some extent (not entirely) immune from inflation and demand across all areas of their business would likely increase during economic hard times. As a back stop there is always the possibility of a takeover (Dbay for example). The dieselgate is all but won but the income from that is to pay off debt so is likely to be a short term spike in the shareprice only. Am more interested in the Bod views going into 2023. Some shares remain cheap for a good reason and whilst I would not expect Anexo to ever command a big premium, the share price seems to be absurdly low. | carcosa
29/8/2022 18:42 | I think this has sold off on dire UK economy prospects but I would think this will be counter cyclical. Frankly it just needs to do OK and its better than cash. | hpcg
26/8/2022 06:41 | Thanks from me also, excellent news. Confirmation today that the H1 results will be on 20th September: The June AGM update was very positive and confirmed ANX were trading in line with expectations of 19.3p EPS this year. | rivaldo
23/8/2022 15:07 | Thanks Timmy, Carcosa for clarifying. The stock is illiquid and tightly held so maybe someone is slowly unloading. | rimau1
23/8/2022 08:36 | I rang the IR guy about this. It won't affect Anexo as their actions are civil and not criminal; it won't make a difference to court timings either as criminal cases are heard in magistrate and crown courts and not civil courts. | timmythedog
23/8/2022 00:40 | The strike is by Criminal Barristers only; so I would have guessed this would have no effect/small net gain for Anexo? | carcosa
22/8/2022 12:57 | Barristers looming strike probably the reason for the fall, courts are already facing a covid related backlog so this will make it worse. | rimau1
22/8/2022 12:48 | Being dragged down for a takeover IMHO | tjb23
22/8/2022 11:21 | Limit order triggered at 1.20, way too cheap IMO. The only concern for me is rising net debt y-o-y but at some point the case settlements should more than offset litigation funding. VW case settlement will also make a dent in net debt. I just can’t see any company specific downside risk at these levels. | rimau1
16/8/2022 16:51 | Makes sense, just impatient to see a result. | p1nkfish
16/8/2022 16:08 | The longer it goes on the more Anexo are likely to get from legal charges. Additionally, I would assume it would be advantageous to Anexo and their clients, that a settlement is reached as late as possible; possibly even during the court hearing, as that typically affords the plaintiffs' maximum pressure to illicit the highest possible returns. | carcosa
16/8/2022 11:55 | Sooner the better. | p1nkfish
16/8/2022 09:26 | The court hearing is scheduled for January 2023. Hence a settlement is expected before then. | carcosa
16/8/2022 08:51 | There's no delay - it's a normal court case which will be resolved in due course, hopefully soon! It just so happens that the Slater & Gordon case was the first to be brought against VW and therefore the first to be settled (and I got a very, very nice and unexpected cheque out of it!). | rivaldo
16/8/2022 08:37 | Whats the delay on the diesel settlement or is this just normal? | p1nkfish
16/8/2022 08:26 | Nope it's just general market recovering. All my shares having a mini rise. Strange how same thing happens across all aim shares lol. | hsduk101
16/8/2022 08:15 | Good to see a series of small buys this morning causing a 3p rise. Perhaps an overhang has cleared. | rivaldo
05/8/2022 15:14 | VW news would help. | p1nkfish
05/8/2022 15:06 | Ah ok thanks Carcosa. That is good news at least. | rimau1
05/8/2022 14:17 | rimau1 Actually DBAY did not sell any shares. It's just a recalculation of their holdings as a percent of the overall number of shares. An event changing the breakdown of voting rights following the issue of shares pursuant to Anexo's Management Incentive Plan | carcosa
05/8/2022 13:09 | Dbay reduced their holding on the 3/8, if they continue this is going to reach new lows. Also implies no return to the table with an offer. | rimau1
26/7/2022 06:35 | New CFO looks useful, x-Augean. Change happens, fresh-blood. | p1nkfish
20/7/2022 11:37 | Been on hols, so good to see the share price rebounding nicely. Informative posts above, cheers. | rivaldo
18/7/2022 14:36 | carcosa - yes, any friction in the repair or replace market should help with credit hire days. Higher costs will make hire(!) costs seem less egregious. More people driving without insurance and having accidents should keep the actionable events stack topped up. I'm actually more interested in the housing element where I can see the potential for enormous growth and a much bigger TAM. | hpcg |
