Kili

It may be offered to shareholders at 100m, but the tell tell signal will be if its offered without the directors giving irrevocable undertakings.

If they don't they are sending the signal to others to step in with a higher bid.

Well there's a squeeze on Nickel prices, as (detailed below), we've had an approach valuing us at circa 7.3pps We have had interviews and podcasts stating other suitors will step up as the resource is simply too big to ignore and we know the GSK report is ready to be released and has been translated...I don't care if someone is selling their warrants at a sizeable profit...I'm more interested in what could happen as I believe we are in the eye of the storm

The Squeeze in the Nickel Market Is Getting Worse
Eddie Spence, Bloomberg News

BC-The-Squeeze-in-the-Nickel-Market-Is-Getting-Worse
BC-The-Squeeze-in-the-Nickel-Market-Is-Getting-Worse , Eddie Spence

(Bloomberg) -- The nickel market is showing more signs of stress.

Stockpiles held by the London Metal Exchange extended their decline on Tuesday, with the last increase coming in October. Buyers are paying a massive premium for immediately deliverable futures.

The key cash three-month spread, which briefly eased on news of additional shipments from Tsingshan Holdings Group Co., notched new highs on Monday. Contracts for immediate delivery are trading at a $508-a-ton premium to those in three months, the highest such premium since a historic squeeze in 2007.

While the squeeze last month was focused on near-dated contracts, in recent days it has spread through the curve. That shows the market is now pricing in tighter nickel supplies for longer, amid strong demand from stainless steel producers and battery manufacturers.

The spread between February and March contracts has more than doubled in the past week, as has the spread between March and April contracts.

Base metals are extending gains after their best year in more than a decade, aided by strong demand and power-related supply disruptions. Goldman Sachs Group Inc. sees deficits across all refined metals, raising its 12-month targets for aluminum, copper and zinc.

Nickel rose 2.1% to $22,805 a ton by 1:56 p.m. on the LME. It slid more than 7% last week.

Most other base metals also gained, led by a 2.4% increase for copper as comments from the U.S. Federal Reserve alleviated concerns over an aggressive tightening of monetary policy.

Chinese markets are shut all week for the Lunar New Year holiday, which is damping trade in Asia.

Well nearly 2 weeks since the story broke..... clearly discussions are ongoing. Just walk away RY unless it's a serious offer that gives shareholders the value this deserves. Cracking asset

Unlikely every bank and hedge fund would be piling in. There's not enough shares in circulation to make it worthwhile, and it's AIM listed.True there remain risks, there equally remains the opportunity of significantly more upside than 7p. I think those who understand the asset know that and are unlikely to sell up. share price is being managed by our other shareholder pool

I see that Norislk are reporting their final results on Thursday. Just wondering if they might be saying something about M&A activity in their forward looking statement.

Nothing is confirmed. I want this to be a success as much as everyone but if 100m was confirmed we would be at 7p and every Bank/hedge fund in the City would be piling in at 3pNot many companies around that would not want to double their money on a dead cert.So - it is not and still risk it does not materialise

Well good luck. It's a falling knife but maybe this is the bottom. I lost just a few quid trying at 190p. The rumours could have legs, although plenty of accounting and governance shenanigans. But much like this share those fears could be well overdone. I don't like Moulding personally

Yeah half of his position and he will hold 6 million shares that's worth £6 million more that's the total of all the shares and options listed below. But it was disconcerting to why he had.

Especially buying at 1p ffs ... In all fairness if their average is very large and they have been diluted ... but it shows no confidence in a company ... look at THG Moldings holding .. and he's buying more :) thats confidence:)
