19/3/2021 21:24 | And which industry would that be? EV batteries and energy storage? Seems strange for someone in the industry to want to short the future? Or do you mean the internal combustion engine industry? If so that would explain the bile that you’ve been projecting, as you can’t see past the end of your own nose. | 74tom
19/3/2021 21:23 | What role and what particular expertise do you have MRF? Be interesting to get an insider's perspective | hydrus
19/3/2021 20:55 | No it's not a daft question, I'm in the industry, as for concentrating on stuff I own, this will be a pretty good short one day and clearly has an army of ignorant over excited muppets ready to pump unqualified sums into, so for an experienced investor/trader like myself, there's virtually risk free money to be made as time unfolds. | my retirement fund
19/3/2021 19:52 | Quantumscape won't generate significant revenue until 2026 but is valued at $21,690,000,000. AMTE is very cheap, and has many irons in the fire. A number of these projects have the full support of the UK Government and the Prime Minister, personally. | jimbo123elf
19/3/2021 18:21 | Let’s look at this in the crudest way possible; At present the pieces we can directly ascribe value to are; Manufacturing facility = £35m Inlicensed IP = £14m Cash = £13m Total = £62m That’s what it would cost someone to get themselves into the same position on paper as AMTE are today. This completely ignores the value of; - Know how / trade secrets - Industry relationships - hiring a skilled workforce - The products which are in development So based on the closing market cap of £107m, the market currently values the above at £45m. Clearly this is subjective, but then so is any pre revenue valuation. It certainly doesn’t feel expensive to me based on the valuations of peers in the UK market, nevermind those in the US! | 74tom
19/3/2021 17:37 | If you think it is over priced currently fair enough. What price would you say is fair value? | scooper72
19/3/2021 17:32 | My Retirement Fund - This may sound like a daft question, but why are you even posting here? This company is clearly not one you are looking to invest in. Not being rude but why don't you concentrate on shares you do have a holding in or are more interested in investing in? | davidbennett
19/3/2021 17:11 | The company hasn't got any products to speak of that it can sell. As such it has not established a market for itself because without products you can't actually establish a market. Meanwhile it is trying to develop products for hypothetical markets which it has no working knowledge of yet (because it doesn't have any products to sell), these supposed products are all presently preproduction prototypes which haven't even been real world tested ! Good luck to anyone who is nieve enough to imagine this offers good value for money equity wise and even more good luck to you if you think it will ever produce any products itself that find a cost effective home within any possible markets. | my retirement fund
19/3/2021 16:28 | Wait till reality sets in and they need to raise more money and then more money followed by more money ....adinfinitem | my retirement fund
19/3/2021 14:11 | Bought more. This stock is an absolute gift at these prices. Wait until the news starts dropping and the herd arrives. Many shrewdies loading the truck on this one. | jimbo123elf
19/3/2021 13:10 | Being played like a fiddle | vmax
19/3/2021 10:42 | Yep, it’s almost always a good sign when they bid aggressively and make it hard to buy. There will undoubtedly be high net worth individuals that have given their broker instructions to buy at a certain price. The only way they’ll fill those orders is to discourage online buying & encourage selling! My guess is we trade between 270-330 until further news. | 74tom
19/3/2021 09:51 | Have taken another tranche for the ISA at 292p. On HL they were offering to buy my existing holding at 290p so thought that was a good sign. | scooper72
19/3/2021 09:48 | It was 276p at 8.13am but like u say no shares were available to buy. Can buy at 292p now though. Having a think before I take another chunk. | scooper72
19/3/2021 09:35 | They clearly don’t want retail buying this - two days in a row where it’s been consistently NT to buy before 9am! | 74tom
19/3/2021 09:15 | I've been constantly buying this week . This is not to trade but to hold . It's the future | 1savvyinvestor
19/3/2021 09:11 | MM want your shares today. GLA | helenm13
19/3/2021 09:08 | Can sell @ 295.5 but you can't buy! | old fool2
19/3/2021 08:18 | Thanks 74tom. I see what you mean. Makes sense. I guess many of us are used to reading in the business pages of blue chip CEOs getting paid big 7 fig salaries but that is a whole other kettle of fish. | scooper72
18/3/2021 21:06 | Good to see you are here to help with the technical side of things bamboo. | scooper72
18/3/2021 21:05 | Presumably the CEO and CFO believe their share options are infinitely more lucrative than a city pay package then. But is it always a good sign if the top staff are on a v modest salary? I don't normally look at renumeration of staff so I wouldn't know the answer. Just thought it was worth bringing since u had it in your list of plus points. | scooper72
18/3/2021 19:49 | Support approx 265-272 | bamboo2
18/3/2021 18:29 | The news that the govt is cutting a few hundred quid off electric car grants came out just before the slide. Thicko punters 2+2=5 perhaps! | loafofbread |
