Indeed. I don't think opportunities like this come around too often, AMTE are effectively a pick and shovel play on the UK green energy revolution. That alone would be exciting enough, but add in;

- The original founders still own 23.3% of the share capital
- The CEO & CFO are taking salaries of 'only' £115k & £110k respectively
- The three largest shareholders that aren't founders didn't sell a single share in the IPO
- The 'concert party' of insiders + shareholders at over 3% own 23,727,617 shares between them, equivalent to 68.4% of share capital

Demand for shares will almost certainly outstrip supply and the management team are very much aligned with shareholder interests.

Will leave this thread be until the next news arrives - nothing more to say until then!

And I for one really believe this could be that share . I've invested £40 k over the course of this week . I will not be trading this share . I expect it to hugely outperform over coming years

Oh and definitely more to be gained via holding - a quick buck only gets you so far. Compounding gains on one share is the way to make game changing returns. Finding the right share early enough and holding on is the difficult part!

Today has been absolutely classic AIM.

- Big demand first thing but most couldn’t buy as it was NT until 8.45, they then refused to move the offer beyond 332p despite countless buys.

- you could sell as many as you liked at pretty much the offer price (330.5p) around midday, and still they refused to move the offer beyond 332p.

- someone took the bait and sold 25k of shares at 330p, after which they started to walk the offer down. This dissuaded new buyers, and gave market makers an excuse to drop the price on a few sells.

- after a brief rally back, they drop it again back below 300p.

The aim of course is to shake as many out as possible, allowing big buyers to collect the shares.

I am 99% sure that on days like this the market makers have received a big order from a HNW and decided to hold the price until buying pressure subsides, then they can fill the order.

Regardless, what matters is where the price is 12/24/36 months from now. That is when the market will be fully aware of what is on offer here and will value it appropriately.

Some people like a quick buck. I'm learning with some of my long term holds that there's a lot more value to be taken with a bit more commitment and patience.

I wish I could add more. ISA is maxxed out and just sat on my hands until April 6th. Somehow I don't see it remaining at these levels until then lol.

...Yes, gas / oil central heating is to be phased out. Households will need more and more electricity. Plus EVs being charged from homes etc. Smart grid will need more and more storage at local levels to balance out supply / demand. I think in time all properties including homes will have their own battery storage to help the grid cope. ATME will be playing a big part in all this.

Important too that AMTE are making big play of their UK manufacturing base for security and diversity of supply. This is of national importance.

the sector is attracting so much attention at the moment. Fund managers always looking for investments in this sort of 'clean energy'.

People think cars but everything is going battery now. All the power tools are switching from mains electric to battery. Even petrol engines are being replaced by batteries (cutters, strimmers, chainsaws etc.).

I am interested in 'off grid' battery power in homes too.

Agreed someuwin and much higher in the longer term. An eventual market cap in the billions is not out of the question. The quality of the investment base knows that as well at these levels.

£10 target should be easily achievable in the short term imo. Will still only be a valuation of £340m.

All about clean energy isn't it.

Lets see if we can go £3.50p plus.

£3.7m project for which AMTE is the lead participant;

"It is anticipated that 50% of vehicle production will be wholly or partially electric by 2030\. This project aims to commercialise known quantum technology to address identified challenges in the manufacture of batteries and lithium cells. Quantum technology enables highly sensitive measurements of magnetic fields. This project will use these magnetic measurements to diagnose current flows in lithium cells and the consortium will develop a complete environmentally controlled ageing test production system deployed at the largest commercial powder to power lithium-ion and sodium-ion manufacturing plant in the UK (project lead: AGM). The system will be integrated into AGM's pouch cell assembly and test processes trialled on the range of High, Ultra High power, High Energy and Sodium-ion cells currently being scaled-up and commercialised for UK niche automotive market in particular._

_Having gained global acclaim for best-in-class ICE's, Cosworth are perfect examples of what's best about the UK's high-performance automotive developers. Now they are seeking to build equally successful electric drive trains and only power cells of the very highest quality will suffice. The project is fortunate to have Cosworth as an active partner taking advantage of the Quantum Sensor technology ability to select A-Grade cells for the best hybrid battery performance and good lifetime state-of-health. The technology adds strength to 2nd life use of cells viability due to better SoH confidence through 1st life._

_In the next few years, the UK-BIC (Battery Industrialisation Centre) will be opened. This will be closely followed by AGM's parent company's AMTE GigaFactory which will be capable of manufacturing millions of cells in the UK every year. Like all cell manufacturers, AGM will be burdened with the bottleneck of cell formation and ageing processes. This project aims to significantly reduce this impact and also improve quality yields providing the ability to grade cells effectively. This could prove massively beneficial to the fledgling industry providing a competitive edge enabling AGM to take market share earlier."

Some more news from last week;

“Now we have shown that we can measure the temperature inside the battery cell at the same time as chemical changes, which the market has demanded since we introduced our battery sensor. The greater accuracy achieved by measuring the temperature inside the cell further strengthens our sensor's contribution to optimizing the entire battery pack", says Patrik Dahlqvist, CEO of Insplorion.

"The project was financed by the Swedish Energy Agency's Battery Fund Program and was a collaboration between Insplorion AB and Chalmers University of Technology. CEVT AB has conducted a market research within the project. The project has been supported by a reference group consisting of representatives from AMTE Power Ltd (UK), CEVT AB (Sweden), Dukosi Ltd (UK) and SAFT Batteries (France)."

Can i check how many factories Amte is planning to build ? I think one to expand their existing factory in Scotland help funded by UKBIC. Another is the gigafactory jv with Britishvolt. Also there's another in western Australia jv with InfraNomicshttps://www.prnewswire.co.uk/news-releases/battery-manufacturer-amte-power-and-infranomics-sign-landmark-mou-to-produce-lithium-cells-in-western-australia-828702909.html

they have signed a memorandum of understanding so presumably that gives them both lots of room to manoeuvre and work out what is a win win for the two companies.
