Indeed-the number of willing ‘smart’ asset managers who piled into this is mind blowing.Fair value is 50p for me

Spent a couple of hours looking at AMTE and still don't know what they are about. They have differentiated products that are different - really ?(said somewhere by CEO in one of the videos I watched). They've sent some cells to UKBIC to certify that they are capable of mass manufacturing - what happens if the answer comes back that they aren't? They're looking to spend £200-£250m on building a gigafactory somewhere yet I'm not sure any of the exec team would get a job serving coffee at Tesla (who probably know a few things about gigafactories that these guys will never know). The exec team is stuffed with old guys from QQ. and JM and there isn't a PhD in sight. The CFO left 6 months after float. They have a factory in Thurso that is doing what exactly - obviously not building things as they aren't selling anything. Apart from that, I was less than inspired. I think MRF called this right 12 months ago.

I share your view on British Volt.It feels like the inward investment period which saw millions blown on schemes which never delivered value.

I agree-it was overhyped at IPO because it was in the battery space, but clearly needed the cash.

Chemistry changes are rapid and commoditisation a massive problem but you won’t hear this from WHI.

Keep well clear of this. High capital commitment, low margin sector. All this has going for it is modes govt subsidy. It can't compete with the bi boys. Sucker stock.

Afraid to say I agree-this stock was ramped by stupid placees who clearly don’t understand the dynamics.

Gelion looks a better bet to me and they have commercial deals

Evening all. I read this RNS is firstly desperate as clearly the company haven't actually got any sensible news to release about income generation and secondly the engagement of this party I see as an attempt to raise more capital and grants so as to keep the wages paid and remain solvent. For those interested in the struggle to commercialise Sodium battery manufacturer, here is a hopeful story featuring Farndion which may give you an insight into the barriers to entry. This may indeed make sense for India. At the same time hopefully it may serve to dissuade some of you from gambling your money into a bottomless pit here. Enjoy: Https://youtu.be/W2PmRT3akGk

I keep saying this-where will the margin come from with power predicted to be sub $100 per KWh in short term.

Novi, Thanks for sharing, USP for AMTE Multiple battery technology for transportation IMO.

90GW PA needed by 2030 British Volt to supply 30GW plenty of scope for AMTE
