23/9/2019 13:19 | I believe that this Aegerion deal, diamondstar, has turned my PURE PUNT on the outcome of the Phase III trial on AP101 into an INVESTMENT on the growth prospects of Juxtapid/Lojuxta and Myalept. Of course a successful outcome to the AP101 trial would be icing on the cake. Fingers crossed as always. Wiley and Nealon have, as Friel believes, pulled off a masterstroke in encouraging the creditors of Aegerion/Novelion to transfer a large chunk of that debt into new AMYT shares enabling a new start for Aegerion and in the process turning the old AMYT from a gamble on the success, or otherwise, of AP101 into a company that could withstand the failure of AP101 without it's share price being trashed in the process. | papillon
23/9/2019 12:10 | Are we expecting much from this Court meeting starting in the next 10mins? | tiananmen
23/9/2019 11:08 | Fair enough crack on 😂 | positivitynicholas
23/9/2019 11:07 | Many thanks, diamondstar. I like the idea of someone with a nickname including the word positivity being told to "lighten up and be a bit more positive"! Very good. As far as I'm concerned mister negativityNicholas can stay on my filter list. I'm only interested in the AMYT share price. I will be a very positivityPapillon if and when the AMYT share price breaks above it's all time high of 162p (equivalent to a pre consolidation 27p) achieved a couple of times back in Q2 2017. Getting above that high is a very bullish signal IMO. There is clear blue sky for the AMYT share price above 162p. It would be very nice if that 162p resistance were breached before AMYT lists on Nasdaq. Whilst the future can't be successfully predicted it does look like the AMYT CEO & CFO have pulled off a masterstroke with this Aegerion/RTO deal. Hopefully the AMYT share price will fly after it lists on Nasdaq. Fingers crossed! | papillon
23/9/2019 09:48 | I’m interested in his comments positivityNicholas - I’d recommend that you lighten up and be a bit more positive! | diamondstar1
22/9/2019 21:51 | Because he talks such twaddle and thinks we are actually interested. | positivitynicholas
22/9/2019 18:45 | PN, Why not just ignore as opposed to being rude? Life’s too short and all that! We’re all different, thankfully Cheers | bazworth
22/9/2019 15:27 | Papillon we don’t care what piddling amount of shares you bought, when and at what price. You are a self important person who none of us care what you do. Keep your business private and stop thinking anyone cares what you do | positivitynicholas
22/9/2019 14:58 | Many, many, thanks for that information, baloo99. In that case mdalos WILL NOT receive any CVR's. "Tee hee!!" Perhaps it's not such a bad day after all! | papillon
22/9/2019 13:29 | According to the Admission Document published on 27 August, the CVR record time was 8 pm on 20 September. Assuming that arrangement stands, only the shares that you still held on 20 September at 8 pm will be eligible for the CVRs. | baloo99
22/9/2019 12:44 | The RNS dated 27th August states: "The CVR Record Date is 20 September 2019. If Shareholders sell their Ordinary Shares in advance of the CVR Record Date they will not be entitled to receive CVRs." It pains me to say this, but mdalos is correct. The shares he sold on Friday, 20th September, will still be eligible for the CVR's. What a shame! That's ruined my Sunday! The fact that those who bought on Friday will not receive the CVR's would explain the dip in the share price on Friday, which is what I posted in post 4944 yesterday as I agreed with dim2602's post. I suggested in post 4944 that Friday's drop might not be the full extent of the pullback, but US$60m of shares are being placed at 148p and the share price did stage a small recovery just before Friday's close so perhaps the share price will continue to recover next week. Whatever happens it will be an interesting week next week. I hope the share price does strengthen next week if only to prove he who thinks he knows everything, mdalos, is proved wrong. Not that I'm worried. I had my small top ups after the 27th August relisting (£400 @ 106p, £750 @ 105p and £300+ @ 124p) well before the CVR cut off date. PS Just after the relisting, when the share price hovered just above the £1 mark was a very good time to buy (as I did twice) what with the CVR cut off date set at 20th September and the coming 148p placing. I'm sure those who sold soon after relisting must be regretting their decision. I suppose you will always get those keen to sell after a lengthy suspension. | papillon
22/9/2019 12:21 | Very true, bazworth I see mdalos is still having problems with his CAPS LOCK. LOL. He seems to be getting very hot under the collar yet again; definitely not good for his blood pressure. His carers must be getting worried! | papillon
22/9/2019 10:43 | Funny old game, isn’t it! | bazworth
22/9/2019 10:31 | Looking at his posting history JohnNew2001 appears to have posted the same message on almost every ADVFN bb today. | papillon
22/9/2019 02:30 | CVR= Cardio Vascular Resuscitators. Very useful | volsung
22/9/2019 00:32 | selling before the 20th will means not being entitled to the CVRs... no two ways about it. | delta0091
21/9/2019 19:06 | The following is what the RNS dated 27th August 2019 states, sidam. "The CVR Record Date is 20 September 2019. If Shareholders sell their Ordinary Shares in advance of the CVR Record Date they will not be entitled to receive CVRs." It's stated explicitly, in black and white, in the RNS, sidam. If you can't believe a company's RNS what can you believe? If I didn't believe the company's RNS's I would have sold (and there are AIM listed fantasises where I wouldn't believe their RNS's). Hence as mdalos said he sold his shares before and on the 20th September, then according to the 27th August RNS, mdalos is NOT entitled to the CVR's. PS This is what Thursday's RNS states: "The last day of dealings in, and for registration of transfers of, Amryt Shares is expected to be 23 September 2019, being the day of the Scheme Court Hearing. At 7.30 a.m. on the business day immediately after the Scheme Court Hearing (being 24 September 2019), it is anticipated that trading in Amryt Shares on AIM and Euronext Growth will be suspended. Following the Scheme becoming effective and completion of the Acquisition, it is expected that admission of the Amryt Shares to AIM and Euronext Growth will be cancelled at 7.00 a.m. on 25 September 2019. Applications will be made to the London Stock Exchange and Euronext Dublin for the enlarged issued share capital of New Amryt to be admitted to trading on AIM and Euronext Growth, respectively. It is expected that admission of the New Amryt Shares will become effective, and dealings in the New Amryt Shares will commence, at 8.00 a.m. on 25 September 2019." So a ONE DAY suspension will take place on 24th September (Tuesday), sidam. The old AMYT shares will be cancelled and replaced with the new AMYT shares. | papillon
21/9/2019 16:56 | The date is 24th September as per the prospectus. The ex entitlement (it is not a dividend) date is set by the LSE, which I will check on Monday. I hope I got this correct. I was told the market expected yet another suspension next week to complete formalities. | sidam
21/9/2019 15:15 | chica1 20 Sep '19 - 12:21 - 4947 of 4950 0 1 0 You guys know better than me but I was under the impression that one would have to hold the shares until end of trading September 20th to receive the CVR's in the future. >>>>> You are correct, chica. Obviously mdalos doesn't agree with you going by his last post yesterday (I had a quick peek at it). Here's his post. mdalos1 - 20 Sep 2019 - 12:09:41 - 4945 of 4951 Amryt Pharma - AMYT Anybody anticipating what will happen by/around Tuesday next week ? ==================== MDALOS1 - iamsold - all out during this week, last lot this morning before capitulation commenced - 27% PROFIT on my overall investment since FASTNET days - REAL MONEY banked and hopeful I may yet get some billy-bonus CVRs too !!! ==================== (Ta Ta Flutterby - don't despair) >>>>> If mdalos has sold all his shares before the close of play yesterday and thinks he still retains the CVR's then he's in for a disappointment, because the RNS dated 27/9/19 is very specific: "The CVR Record Date is 20 September 2019. If Shareholders sell their Ordinary Shares in advance of the CVR Record Date they will not be entitled to receive CVRs." If mdalos thinks he will will still retain his CVR's despite selling all his shares before and on the 20th September then he is very much mistaken. Perhaps that's why he believes there will be many more CVR's in existence than the number of shares in issue on the 20th September! Either that or mdalos is lying and hasn't sold his shares? That's if he ever was a shareholder? | papillon
20/9/2019 17:49 | A couple of biggish buys from yesterday (over £30k each) reported today after the market closed. | papillon
20/9/2019 15:47 | Whatever the cut off date for the CVR's, delta, whether it was yesterday, or today, I don't suppose many short term traders are that interested in the CVR's bearing in mind they might end up worthless. If they do pay out the maximum of US$1.48 it could be years away. I presume short term traders are more interested in a bird in the hand rather than 2 in the bush! Definitely the buyers that have been active within the last couple of weeks appear to have gone missing today! You'll always get sellers, even if there are no, or not many, buyers around | papillon |
