chica1 20 Sep '19 - 12:21 - 4947 of 4950 0 1 0 You guys know better than me but I was under the impression that one would have to hold the shares until end of trading September 20th to receive the CVR's in the future. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> You are correct, chica. Obviously mdalos doesn't agree with you going by his last post yesterday (I had a quick peek at it). Here's his post. mdalos1 - 20 Sep 2019 - 12:09:41 - 4945 of 4951 Amryt Pharma - AMYT Anybody anticipating what will happen by/around Tuesday next week ? =================================================================== MDALOS1 - iamsold - all out during this week, last lot this morning before capitulation commenced - 27% PROFIT on my overall investment since FASTNET days - REAL MONEY banked and hopeful I may yet get some billy-bonus CVRs too !!! ======================== THE END =================================== (Ta Ta Flutterby - don't despair) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> If mdalos has sold all his shares before the close of play yesterday and thinks he still retains the CVR's then he's in for a disappointment, because the RNS dated 27/9/19 is very specific: "The CVR Record Date is 20 September 2019. If Shareholders sell their Ordinary Shares in advance of the CVR Record Date they will not be entitled to receive CVRs." If mdalos thinks he will will still retain his CVR's despite selling all his shares before and on the 20th September then he is very much mistaken. Perhaps that's why he believes there will be many more CVR's in existence than the number of shares in issue on the 20th September! Either that or mdalos is lying and hasn't sold his shares? That's if he ever was a shareholder?

A couple of biggish buys from yesterday (over £30k each) reported today after the market closed.

Whatever the cut off date for the CVR's, delta, whether it was yesterday, or today, I don't suppose many short term traders are that interested in the CVR's bearing in mind they might end up worthless. If they do pay out the maximum of US$1.48 it could be years away. I presume short term traders are more interested in a bird in the hand rather than 2 in the bush! Definitely the buyers that have been active within the last couple of weeks appear to have gone missing today! You'll always get sellers, even if there are no, or not many, buyers around

Got this from stockchallenge website: "What's the record date and why isn't it the same as the ex-dividend date? Don't worry about the record date. It's an administrative date, usually one day after the ex-dividend date." Given the price action today, I suspect the ex-dividend(or Ex-CVR) date was today and the record date yesterday or maybe the day before.

Because the AMYT share price is likely to be in overbought territory, dim2602, I wouldn't go so far as to say that the current 9p drop today equates to the value the market places on the CVR. After all there are many traders who bought around 105p very recently (and I'm one of those who bought at that price, though I'm not a trader)) who have been taking profits recently. I think the share price drop today is not due to the sellers (there have been plenty of sellers around in recent weeks), but due instead to an almost complete ABSCENCE of buyers today. The buyers who wanted the CVR's were probably active up until yesterday.

Very true, volsung. Very glad I wasn't born with EB. There were 4 biggish trades of over £30k each from Wednesday, delta, reported after the market closed last night. "So the AMRYT share price drops 9p today which I assume is the price the markets give to the CVR's." I wouldn't go so far as to say the current share price drop today is the limit of the pull back, dim2602. Shares get overbought and oversold and it looks like AMYT could be in overbought territory. After all the share price had nearly doubled by yesterday's close compared with the pre suspension price of 73.5p (6 x 12.25p) when AMYT relisted just over 3 weeks ago. I'm NOT tempted to sell my 5k of shares. Why? Well I don't want to lose the CVR's and also because I believe the AMYT share price will get a big boost when it lists on Nasdaq. Fingers crossed as always!

There has just been a feature on TV about a boy with EB. I cannot begin to imagine how difficult and uncomfortable his life is. Notwithstanding this investment, I really do hope AP101 works and gives some relief from the obvious pain and discomfort.

So the AMRYT share price drops 9p today which I assume is the price the markets give to the CVR's. Not a bad option strategy - pay 9p for a payout that could be up to £1.22 if all conditions are met in a few years time.

papy, you are bang on about him. i read his previous bull on MIRL (before he deleted them after the arbitration result rns) and how he tried to make out as if he knew exactly why they were in trouble and hence the arbitration - that they would definitely lose. Turned out to be complete b/s. He's Walter Mitty personified.

mdalos is also a liar, delta. He's also NOT a man of his word, delta, because he stated categorically when the share price hit 133p he was off! He said he was selling his AMYT shares (if he ever had any) at 133p and we would NEVER hear from him again on this bb! Yet still he posts this morning. He's a congenital liar who tries to cover up his tracks by deleting his posts soon after. PS medicman. I expect a further share price rise tomorrow as last minute buyers rush to obtain the CVR's before Friday's close. Cathal Friel reckons the Nasdaq listing will take place in November. I believe that after the 20th September deadline for the CVR's has passed that there will be profit taking and a lack of buyers, but that will prove temporary because as Mark Taub stated in his article AMYT will still be very undervalued compared to it's peer group on Nasdaq based solely on the current revenue and growth prospects for Juxtapid/Lojuxta & Myalept. I don't tip shares so what you do is entirely your decision.

mdalos119 Sep '19 - 09:00 - 4928 of 4930 0 0 0 Have you understood the schedule of events unfolding from 9am today and by approx. Tues 24th Sep ? Do you know what it might lead to ? ######### has he also been given the reason why the same poster pretending to be a know it all deletes all his previous comments, over 1500 of them, instead of standing by them so that they are open to scrutiny .... hence showing to one and all what cowardly hypocrite he is ?

Depends on how much you think the CVR's could be worth, medicman. If you listen to the company up to US$1.48 per share in the future dependent on the success, or otherwise, of AP101, or if you listen to mdalos a maximum of 13p! I expect a pullback after the 20th September when the CVR's are no longer available to new buyers, but that's just my opinion. How far that pullback on likely profit taking will go I have no idea. It could be 10p, it could be 20p? That pullback could be very temporary seeing that a Nasdaq listing is promised in Q4 2019. That could lead to a re-rating upwards in the share price.

would I be completely mad to buy up more Amryt shares at this point in time? I guess there is no consensus share price .
