08/3/2017 12:36 | Gerald, read my post again, I never said anything WAS in N2. I merely pointed out that SOLO said the DRY SECTION of the well was tested, so the question is, do they still have a wet(oil) section to test? Simple question really, isn't it? Or is there only a dry section and no wet section? | haggismchaggis
08/3/2017 12:35 | haggismchaggis 8 Mar '17 - 10:44 - 61928 of 61951 0 0 perhaps there IS an oil wet portion of the well yet to be tested? | thegreatgeraldo
08/3/2017 12:32 | What I find very interesting from the Jay interview is he says:"we did have oil shows throughout the reservoir and we are now in the process of updating our basin model to account for this, but it's all very positive."more importantly there was no evidence of water in this (N2), and so what we're led to believe is the Ntorya-1 Ntorya-2 area as we know it now comprises a very significant resource in place, as we further develop the basin those resource numbers will continue to expand, and that's something that leads us to believe that we certainly are in a world class basin on the onshore Ruvuma PSA"Based on Gussow's theory, the gas first displaces water up-dip, then it displaces the oil up-dip. If there's no water in N2 then it's all moved up-dip. There's traces of oil so the oil has probably moved up-dip (as the water has gone there must be a route up-dip for the oil to follow). The oil was right through the tested zone, so the theory is that the zone was once full of oil. This leaves us with an increased chance of finding the migrated oil at N3 or Namisange and I expect the updated basin model will say this when AEX release it. | haggismchaggis

08/3/2017 12:18 | haggis - you said earlier the oil was in N2, but that the company hadn't tested it | thegreatgeraldo
08/3/2017 12:16 | Gerald, the oil is in N3 and/or Namisange IMO, we'll just have to wait and see.Interesting that AEX, SOLO, DL, and now Jay in interview have all mentioned there was oil and now they will be updating the basin model. My belief is oil wouldn't get a mention if there was no prospectively for it like our 'resident experts' would like us to believe. | haggismchaggis
08/3/2017 12:06 | you really do not want to production test with that dirty oil. It leaves a nasty stain on all the equipment and takes ages to wash off. Keep to than clean gas. | deld
08/3/2017 12:05 | • Aminex (LON:AEX– 6p) – Solid Bedrock: Today's update is a solid statement about Ntorya wider potential, and given the design on the gas plant, the only issue to our mind is if the market can take the volumes and how soon do they either upgrade or twin the facility. Make no issue, the strength of the news (well pressure and subsequent control asserted), whatever the outcome of the drilling result the increase in value will be significant. What the Company can legitimately do now is undertake a wider fundraising, but specifically not the selective fundraising that it undertook last year. That way, the Company will have enough resources to select the best option for the Company, not just the ones that are open to it given the limited resources at its disposal. 08/3/2017 12:02 | Geraldo is it possible that the oil has leaked out of the perforations? tournesol, according to our resident expert, the oil is there, they just decided not to test it. Seems AEX have a sense of humour! | thegreatgeraldo
08/3/2017 11:55 | Geraldo is it possible that the oil has leaked out of the perforations? Someone should tell us T | tournesol
08/3/2017 11:53 | blue by 2 folks. | datait
08/3/2017 11:53 | haggis, I think you are full of bullsh1t. NT-3 is a gas target. Oil must be < 1% possibility | ngms27
08/3/2017 11:51 | yes maybe haggis, your guess is as good as any | blackgold00
08/3/2017 11:51 | listen to AEX man, just out https://youtu.be/8Bc | paul the octopus
08/3/2017 11:49 | Blackgold, N1 20mmscfd open flow, N2 17mmscfd restricted and mud issues, what say 60-80mmscfd open flow? | haggismchaggis
08/3/2017 11:47 | Blackgold, I won't be scared as I think it's full of oil, so no worries about high pressures here! | haggismchaggis
08/3/2017 11:47 | so nt-1 test result of 20mmcfd was achieved on a more or less open flow | blackgold00
08/3/2017 11:25 | Jay take you through the presentationhttps:// | tidy 2
08/3/2017 11:14 | Once again anyone that sold around 5p got their shares robbed! | kryptonsnake
08/3/2017 11:14 | Bun, and much higher pressure in N2 equates to more gas held in the reservoir. | haggismchaggis
08/3/2017 11:03 | BunBooster2, you know full well that you cannot. Stop being mischievous. | ngms27
08/3/2017 10:54 | Naive question for the geological people. Pre-NT2 we were looking at 200BCF as an above expectations result. Looking at the presentation today NT2 and NT1 are shown side by side. The yellow area in NT-2 is clearly about ten times the size of the tested 3.1m in NT-1 which was classified as 79 BCF. Can we draw any conclusion from that slide about the size of NT2 ie 19 * NT1 (I assume not and it's more complex). | bunbooster2
08/3/2017 10:51 | Haggis I dont think everyone is looking at the bigger picture, this is a significant find and will prove to be a game changer for Aminex and Solo imo. PG | paulhgreen
08/3/2017 10:50 | haggismchaggis 8 Mar '17 - 10:44 - 61928 of 61928 0 0 perhaps there IS an oil wet portion of the well yet to be tested? ...that would make perfect sense!!!! ;-#))) | thegreatgeraldo |
