08/3/2017 08:43 | Yes, I can see that bg. But how long does it take to update basin model? Do they move the rig straight to drill N3? | slepy
08/3/2017 08:41 | slepy, "So are they still drilling N3 now? Seriously, how badly lacking information RNS can be?" yes, "Ntorya-2 also encountered traces of oil in the gross reservoir interval and the Company is updating its basin model to determine the optimal drilling depths for Ntorya-3 and for future development wells." | blackgold00
08/3/2017 08:40 | Slepy, you must have missed this bit.. "the Company is updating its basin model to determine the optimal drilling depths for Ntorya-3 and for future development wells." | haggismchaggis

08/3/2017 08:39 | Disappointing response this morning, on what is essentially good, if not unexpected news. Clearly unrestricted flow rates would have been good, but there's no real doubt that unimpacted by the mud they could have been a lot higher. I look forward to more detail on future work program, hints on updating size of resource etc asap, but those things take time, and I wouldn't criticise the RNS for being out quickly with the news and not delaying for more detail. My concern was that they would have had technical problems and not managed to flow test at all - perfectly possible and it's happened. That would have been bad news! In practice, of course we are still above the share price I was expecting at this stage. A lot of hot money has flowed in, and there have been lots of wild predictions made about likely results and findings, so it's no surprise that a lot of that has moved out again - though you have to ask yourself what those selling this morning really expected from today's news? I sold 25% of my holding over the past couple of weeks - but the rest will stay now for at least the next big story, which is N-3 and which appears to be going to be drilled as expected. Overall we've moved forward a long way in the past month and the Ruvuma story is looking good. We may not all become millionaires overnight, but this is till looking like a good investment, for those will just a little more patience. Peter | greyingsurfer
08/3/2017 08:39 | Buy orders at 5p filled in and now back to 4p. What I have learnt with AEX is to never buy it when it falls. | slepy
08/3/2017 08:37 | So are they still drilling N3 now? Seriously, how badly lacking information RNS can be? | slepy
08/3/2017 08:35 | I think 25% drop was the bottom! Bit over done really | kryptonsnake

08/3/2017 08:33 | Time will take to digest the newsAfternoon it will start coming backI disagree with those saying sub 5pIt will stay between 5.50-7p for next few weeks. | tmmalik
08/3/2017 08:32 | Small oiler with news due anytime IOG!!!! Time to sell AEX. | chesty1
08/3/2017 08:31 | ngms 61862 - possibly they do not really know and have to do quite a bit of post well analysis. What do you want them to say? I personally think the model is quite out of kilter with all expectations and they dont want to under or over sell it at this point but 'think' it is (very) large? Re unrestricted choke predicvtions - come on matey!! what good is that - on a 15 minute 3/6/9/12 hour extrapolation - what use is that?! They could have given better guidance on short term forward prog though! Ive been here for years and hate saying this because it sounds very arrogant am happy to lose or gain on this investment as it makes absolutely no difference to my life so am happy to hold through this short term fluctuation. I also wouldn't have a hope of selling the kind of volumes I have in this, without getting ultimately shagged by the mms! | dunderheed
08/3/2017 08:30 | Bye Bye 5p. FFS! | slepy
08/3/2017 08:29 | Strong pressure recovery occurred in all instances during the well test build-up periods. | haggismchaggis

08/3/2017 08:21 | So for the last few days I was thinking to myself " why did I sell half of my shares at 6.4p". Shame I didn't sell all! | slepy

08/3/2017 08:20 | It's noteworthy that some people here are so incapable of objectivity that they are now aggressively criticising the market and those who participate in it. Anything rather than reflect and consider their own shortcomings. As someone once said of Basil Fawlty - there's enough material here for an entire conference of psychiatrists. | tournesol
08/3/2017 08:19 | Wowsers i bought both aex and solo on those crazy drops | maverick247 |
